It is a good church if you are a significant other and are pretty much dedicated to this church HOWEVER I find it very clicky. Very hard to make real friends there. Also, they are NOT making disciples sending them out into the world. Only, they (elders) pretty much are involved in this kind of Ministries. So, if you just want to go to Church on Sundays and volunteer within the 4 walls of the church, you are good. However, if you want more it wouldn't be a good place.

His teachings go deep and make it easy for everyone to understand and comprehend. We really appreciate that Pastor Michael never shies away from tough topics and he teaches a book at a time, verse by verse. He married my husband and I 8 years ago and that was such a blessing to us because of how much Pastor Michael means to us. Living Truth has a wonderful, excepting and loving community within the church. Our 2 kids, 7 & 3 love the kids classes on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. Worship at Living Truth is 10 out of 10! Thank you Shane and Worship Team! We love you and appreciate you SO much Pastor Michael and Living Truth leaders and servers!

In the "shake hands greet time" of the service was amazing. A lady who raises her hands in praise has three daughters. I went down the line shaking hands and saying my usual "good morning" (first time to her) and she looks at me and turns her back just as I was going to say good morning -- blatant snub, and so mean. As I was walking out she glared at me with that big floppy hat and her glasses. Amazing in the wrong way. The couple Mark and Monica were good people, sociable in that area. Good folks. Simple people -- so one good experience. The next thing was the associate pastor. Tyler. He greeted my wife and shook my hand. He said he has a 9 month baby in the day care area where he was watching the service behind glass. I said congratulations. He snubbed and ignored me on my congratulations, amazing. Tyler talked alot to my wife and said nothing to me. Just kept me frozen out of the conversation. I am the head of this house Tyler, don't forget that. Wowzers!!! Women are the primary buyers and usually outlive the men. I feel that this is Tyler's deal there. I know marketing too. I have many many years of street smarts and 36 years sober, so I know when I am being worked. This week the main pastor Tony is in the book of Kings. But at the very beginning of the service, Tyler (that one) is heading the youth to camp at San Onofre Beach announcement. Then after, that head pastor Tony goes into talking how death can be sudden to any one of us. Then talked of Hezekia and how he was showing off the riches of his empire to the Babylonians before his foretold death. The main seven deadly sin of pride was Tony's point. Then he/Tony said that his empire (Hezekia) lost the riches to the Babylonians and the future/youth got the short end of the loss of riches after he died. He was saying that it hurt his standing with God. He went to saying that we should not hurt our standing with God by holding onto our riches like Hezekia, and to think about the legacy of our helping the future youth. This ties into the youth group that was talked about earlier (Tyler's youth camp). They are working in concert here. He/Tony talked about how the church would be better off by paying off the 2.5 million in mortgage obligation to do foreign evangelizing. He said that the average home is about 1 million in the area so about 2 homes or so would basically put them nice. Tony went on to say that they have enough monies saved to keep the church going. He did not get into HOW MUCH solvent the church is. So what I get out of it is, give your home and your retirement and you get favor with God BEFORE YOU DIE SUDDENLY. Do this and you will help the future/youth of the church. If you keep the riches you would be like Hezekia. Maybe jeopardize your after life with God. A GUILT SALE. Tony, I am 61 years old and know the game. You think you are going to work the old and retired out of their money and retirement/families inheritances? You say your are a Godly man your whole life, and that you are basically righteous before God. You my man are SO OFF BALANCE. No wonder the church there is so empty. STOP guilting people out of money. That is low level man. AMAZING. You in 6 months never came over to even say hi to my wife or I. Amazing, that is pride in the worst way. In a prior service a associate pastor said that people are seen in the parking lot with $100,000 cars, and that the church could use some of that money. AMAZING. GUILTING MY CAR, that is low man, and I mean low man. Your big church and your chosen expenses are not to be guilted on my wife or my backs. Amazing. Jesus taught on hillsides. Could there ever be a church with volunteer pastors and have ultra low overhead and just teach the word of God? That is righteous. I have gone to alot of churches in my long days, and alot of them do similar things to get cash. Spreading yourself thin is just bad planning and I won't stand for being brow beaten into giving. You should be ashamed. The seniors are in a separate learning area, and I hope they are not being hood winked out of their retirement/riches of which they worked so hard to get. I feel they probably are, as we were in the main sanctuary hall. He was even proud to say it in the Lord's House. Totally amazing. Even touted that he is a doctor. Tony, did you dislocate your shoulder giving yourself the pat on the back? I know for a fact my wife and I have worked our asses (saying ass does not make me feel guilty or sinful either) off for a long long long time and will not feel bad for doing the effort to be where we are today -- GOOD PLANNING on our part, God has directed us nicely. A con job doing the Lord's work. Wowzers!!! These are some strange days indeed, you should repent.

The culture is healthy, joyful, and stable, with very low student and teacher turnover. We are so grateful to be part of a school that not only teaches about Christ but lives it out daily.

I feel God's presence each day when I walk my son into his classroom. His kindergarten teacher Ms. Maple is so kind, supportive, loving and is such an encourager to all the kids. I love how my son is learning and growing as a Christian. His character is building and he is learning so much about our Lord. All of the staff works hard to teach the kids about Jesus on a daily basis. The Principal Dr. Araiza is very supportive and takes the time to talk to parents if they have concerns. She prays with the parents. She is also very supportive, kind and caring. Veronica the secretary in the front office is so kind and welcoming to all the kids and parents. She always has a smile on her face and expresses so much joy to everyone. I wish I could talk about all of the staff because everyone is so kind. When my son was in pre school we loved Ms. Karen and Ms. Jennifer. Noah's pre school experience was wonderful! Thank you Olive Branch for being the best school! We look forward to many more years ahead. I have to say that the school really reminds me of my college days at Biola and they were the eagles too. Biola is a Christian college. Thank you, Julie Biggs
