Anyone who cares, I am writing a review on a recent interaction with Conn's corporate which was VERY disappointing. What started out as a decent experience has ended in disaster. Today was an epic fail with a feeling of what I will now refer to as "Conn-ed". From a bait-and-switch on delivery dates, to less than stellar customer service. DETAILS: - [2/15] I had a decent web experience ordering an item, I received an email confirmation with an order number. It mentioned that I will receive a notification when it's ready for delivery. - [2/16] I received another email with a different order number and an updated status of Delivery Scheduled and a scheduled date of 3/7. It also mentioned I will receive an automated call the day before to verify and inform me of the time of arrival. - [3/6 - 11:30am] I received an email indicating you are headed to my address and that I needed to confirm the delivery address by 5pm which I did. - [3/6 - 7:16pm] I received another email indicating my 3-hour window was between 10:30am and 1:30pm. It also provides a number to call for questions (972-225-9973) which doesn't work. I took off of work to receive this item. - [3/7] I received an email today indicating order number has a status of Awaiting Inventory and is out of stock until 3/13. - [3/7] I called the last number provided (972-225-9973) to get an update which failed. I then tried 844-894-0717 and was asked for my phone number. When they couldn't look me up by the number I provided the agent started to give up. I asked if they could use an order number instead. Reluctantly they looked up my order number. As I was giving the last order number provided they indicated this was not valid. After searching through email I pulled out the first "order number" Conn's had sent . They told me this was an online order and would need to transfer me. I again went through the same process which was now getting frustrating. The agent told me the order wasn't actually scheduled for delivery even though I had already received multiple notifications stating differently. After an exasperating experience I told her to cancel my order because I had no faith Conn's would honor the reschedule. I then called the General Customer Service number listed on your web site ((877) 358-1252) to make a customer service complaint and found it interesting your phone tree will not allow me to speak with someone. This is a terrible customer experience in so many ways. I rarely spend time following up on these types of interactions. This has been so incredibly bad I had to let others know. I'm doubting they will do anything to "make it right" or use it to improve their customer service improvement. Buyer beware when making an online order lest you be Conn-ed. We ordered furniture on July 15th with delivery date of July 25th canceled delivery with no explanation called several times only to get we will call back within a hour with answers still as of August 7th no call back or furniture or answers. I would like to share my recent experience that was simply awful. The worst customer service that I truly have ever encountered. I had to move urgently during Covid from Texas to Florida. I purchased the extended warranty for everything we have ever bought form you all. I called because there was NO Conns in my area. I spoke with some very nice people in the beginning who told me due to this situation they would mail me a refund. Severals weeks went by and nothing happened. I then put in a ticket and got a pretty nasty response however the response said she could mail me a RSA and I have no clue what that means or I could get it repaired and submit a refund. She also said she was mailing me RSA to the wrong address. I never even got the chance to make my decision. Look how many tickets with no responses. Then I get a super nasty call from Fabian who should never call your customers ever. Who told me yall just refunded me the extended warranty which I learned yesterday was the RSA for $400 to the place I financed the TV from. And said that was all they could do. I am still paying on the $1400 TV that doesnt work and was never given the chance to even make my decision. I would have gotten in my truck and driven to a Conns to get my complete value of my replacement or gotten it repaired but again I was never give the opportunity. Terrible I don't know how you tell someone you're going to hold something for them. A hour later (how far we had to drive) we get there and Lacey made the other employee sell it. Terrible customer service. Especially if she's a manager and pulling that kind of stuff. Makes the company look bad and I will never buy something from the store or attempt to go inside. read more

This is a follow up review on the previous one I've left. To begin I've been a loyal Conn's customer for years and my family and I have spent thousands of dollars at their stores. I used to think this was a good local business to shop at, and it was (in my mind) until my most recent purchase. I recently purchased a television from the store in Beaumont and was please with the initial service I received, however that is where the good service ended. Almost as soon as I received the tv I noticed that the middle 3rd of the TV was a few shades darker than the outer 2/3rds. So I'm like "ok I'll call conns and get this taken care of" I call and and schedule an appointment for the 18th of June only to be told the day of that no technician was coming and one won't be able to come out until a week later. I work very long shifts sometimes 6 days out the week and this was my only day off so naturally I was very upset. That's lie number 1 from Conn's. After a large back and forth with the customer service department they decided to credit my my account $50. Fast forward to the tech actually coming out to my house. He comes in my home looks at the TV and tells me the TV has burn in. So for people who know anything about tv technology in the past decade, lcd TVs for home use do NOT get burn in let alone a brand new one out of the box. Lie number 2 from conns. After a few weeks had passed I called to check the progress of my exchange they told me was being processed. I call the service department and much to my excitement I they tell me my exchange had been approved! Me knowing that Conn's had lied to me in the recent past I call the store to make sure, and surprise surprise that was lie number 3. No such exchange approval had taken place. More time passes and I receive a call from the tech that he had just sent an email to Sony several weeks after the initial visit, he then called me back on Friday the 5th and told me that he just needed a proof of purchase and the he would pick it up at the store and call me at the end of the day. No call. Lie number 4. I then call today July 7th 2019 nearly a month after my initial call to see if my exchange had been approved. Again, much to my excitement (forgetting I'm dealing with liars) I make plans to to travel to Beaumont from Orange, and half way there I have a moment of clarity...." I'm dealing with liars who don't stand by there word". So I call to make sure my exchange was indeed approved... and you're not gunna believe this (sarcasm)... it was not approved. that's lie number 5. This has been a both a terribly disheartening and futile experience with this once good local business. There's more smaller parts of the story to tell that contain more incompetence and lies on their part but I don't have all day to write a novel. In conclusion I will not shop at conns ever again and neither will my rather large family, unless this situations is rectified. My advice to anyone would be to go to Best Buy if you need electronics, at the very least until this corporation catches up to speed. read more

I do not recommend getting anything from Conns. When it comes to the credit part they are the devil. I had 2 accounts with them first account I paid on time and even paid it off early. Second account I was late a couple of times because I was diagnosed with MS and couldn't work due to me not being able to walk. I sent them an letter and wrote the CEO explaining my situation and asked could they please remove the late payments and they called me and said 'Even though we understand what you were going through and we are very sorry this happened to you, we cannot remove the late payments'. We bought an entire bedroom suit here & all but one piece was damaged on arrival! The manager and assistant manager both stated that they would make sure that it was made right but instead have refused to return call or emails and have refused to take our calls. We even submitted pictures multiple times, yet they are now denying the damages were caused by their company. This place id give a zero stars if possible. I have never mised 1 payment. Been loyal customer for many many many years. And during covid i lost job. Still i did not need payment help. Still made my payments on time. What i needed is a payoff extension. Ive always payed off 90 days or 6months. Or whatever contract said. They offered monthly extension which i didnt need . What i needed i guess it wasnt in demand so they denied me multiple times and tacked on over 2 thousand dollars in intrest. I guess not many people needed payoff extentions which sucks cause mine was in March. I talk to the store and corporate many many times and still no help and cant even get me someone who can. These people are playing with my credit showing a higher balance now. I work extremely hard to be playing around. I will report to bbb . Its September and im still trying to deal with this. And i called today and they tell me its been since march and to late. I told them i been trying to fix til march. I want to pull my hair out. Conn's financing program is predatory. If you buy $3000 of goods from them, you'll somehow owe $6000. And, let's say you paid$2000 (lump sum) toward the $6000 that they say you owe them. In your mind, you now owe them $4000. However, according to Conn's Home Goods, you now have a balance of $5700. That's after you've paid the $2000 lump sum of your hard earned money. Their financing is abysmal!!! And, this is based on my opinion, as well as my current experience. They will not give you a straight answer, as to how much you actually owe. Or, what the pay-off is. Purchase a soaf & loveseat recliner from conn's in Baton Rouge on Airline, the delivery on Tuesday and the loveseat stop working that Friday. Only to find out I have to wait three weeks for someone to come out to look at furniture . Call to speak with a Manger put me on hold for move than 30 minutes never returned to the phone, had to call back & still didn't get any resolve, are apology... horrible customer service. Conn's is the appropriate name for this so called business. Purchased a mattress that both sides/edges have collapsed. Because of the collapse you literally fall off the sides of the mattress. A warranty and insurance were purchased at the time of sell. Went through all of the proper steps to take for resolution on a defective mattress. Contacted management at the Hanes Mall Blvd store in Winston Salem, NC and was referred to a number to set up an appointment with Fast Furniture Repair who they use on broken/defective merchandise (they also have a 1 star rating-Yelp their reviews) They denied the claim only taking a picture of the MIDDLE of the mattress saying there was nothing wrong with it (totally ignored the REAL issue that it was the mattress edges-there is nothing wrong with the middle). Contacted the corporate office and went through the Better Business Bureau for resolution. We asked them to come get the mattress and refund $1500.00 already paid on it or replace it. Conn's was not willing to do ANYTHING. I ceased my monthly payments due to refusing to pay anymore on a defective mattress, the business unwilling to make it right and not honoring the paid warranty. They have been told NUMEROUS times why payments were stopped. I was paying monthly well before the due date and had an excellent payment history with them until they chose to not honor this defective mattress sold to me. I was even getting monthly increases in my credit amount! I have told them to charge-off the balance since they will never get another penny from me. Why would I continue to pay for merchandise that you can not use??? I am waiting to put the mattress out for our bulky item pick up to send to the landfill and I should have just thrown $1500.00 out the window. Conn's is now harassing me several times per day EVERY day wanting payment and said they will continue calling me EVERY day until I make payments. They have even called a 90 year old person I know asking to speak with me at their residence even though they are talking to me at my residence/phone number. These people are complete idiots!!!!!! I will be contacting the Attorney General and my lawyer if they continue to break the law by harassing me daily! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CROOKED COMPANY!!!! read more

This place is the worst when you have a problem with there product. Bought a sofa (L shape w/lounger)..the pillows we're not fitting properly and sliding off frame daily. Service person came but refused to identify real issue and only suggested replacing pillow. Not even the pillows that did not fit properly. HQ called and said the the proper repair or replace not an available choice. We spent over 2300$ for this furniture a little over 2 months ago and they implied we are just stuck with it. The name Conn's fit so well for this company...never again..and I will stop making payments until they replace entire sofa.!! read more

They need 0 stars. They are allowed to lie to people, take their money, and ruin their credit. I have been to better business bureau and nothing was resolved. I was straight told yes I know we lied and said one thing, but we are now doing something else and there is nothing you can do about it. I want to figure out how to start a class action lawsuit or something because this is ridiculous and they should not be able to lie and rob people. Most people I know go to jail for that. We overpaid them on final payment by $238. We had no idea we had done that until the refund check appeared. Deposited to our account. Five days later their check bounced. When we called our bank to find out why, they said the Conns account was frozen/suspended. If their corporate bank account is not in good standing it's probably just a matter of time before this 130 year old company goes kaput. read more

I had a washer and dryer installed by them and theit cheap drain hose leaked and ruined my hard wood floor and they never took care of it, they told me to go through my home insurance lol. 02/08/19-I would give Conn's a 0 if I could We purchased pleather couches from here and within 6 months they peeled. We called to complain since we purchased the warranty and we were told there was nothing that could be done, so we kept the ugliest sofa's in our home. Fast forward to a year later, we figured we needed new ones, since family/friends come over and it was so embarrassing with the other couches. I went in November and the sales man at the time wasn't very helpful, I didn't feel 100%. Checked out other furniture stores but I fell in love with a set there. I waited anyway. I went back in Jan and Isaac was amazing! He was our sales rep and we told him the entire situation. He looked up us up and said, I see where you called, I see that you did have warranty and something should have been done at that time. That really upset me because obviously, the rest of the staff isn't properly trained or doing their job correctly. Unfortunately for us, the warranty had expired. So Isaac told us that he would talk to his manager, Richard!!!! They said go ahead and make your purchase, we are going to contact the warranty company and if they approve the credit, we will apply it on to your account. We had to make 2 separate accounts, mine and my husband Jesse Ruiz in order to get what we wanted a few dressers and living room set. We trusted your company. We have made many purchases there before and pay everything off within a year. We received a call from the warranty stating they would approve a credit of $3,188 and that we could go make a purchase now. We mentioned we were told to purchase when the complain was filed and that it would be credited to our account. They said no, sorry we can't do that. So we called Conn's to return the items and repurchase them with our credit from the warrant but we were told it can't be done. So now we have new furniture and aren't going to get credited towards that furniture. So we owe the full amount and have a full credit and don't need anything else. It is very upsetting that we were told to go ahead and make the purchase, We could have waited instead. That just makes no sense. We had waited that long! We have been given the runaround, repeatedly. I finally posted this message on YELP and will continue to report messages everyday from here on out, so people are not screwed by y'all. I have also reported y'all to the BBB. I will go on to any social media accounts y'all have and continue to put my horrible experience with y'all, to warn people about the horrible service. 02/12/19-I am livid ... Yadira called me earlier to ask me if we got rid of the furniture. I told her we did because we were specifically told to get rid of them because that is Conns policy, they do not take furniture back. She calls my husband back (not me) to tell him that we aren't getting the credit because we got rid of the furniture. I guess Yadira doesn't know their own policies. This is ridiculous. I am so livid right now. That we have been loyal customers to Conn's since 2011, always pay our stuff off and they want to treat their loyal customers like crap. I don't recommend this place at all. You have lost us as a loyal customer forever. I hope that no one wastes their time trying to purchase any furniture or warranty from here. My wife and I purchased a bedroom suit, a washer and dryer, and a computer from Conn's. We pay our bill on time every month. Our payment is due on the 10th of the month. We constantly get harassing calls from Conn's until the payment has been posted. I am 55 years old and my wife and I have been married for 33 years. I graduated from college in 1986 and for 7 years I was a Nursing Home Administrator. I don't need some stupid computer calling me reminding me when my payment is due. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I received a phone call on Mother's Day. My mom has lost her husband and 2 of her sons. We spent the day with my mom because we love her very much. As of the February 7, 2015 between a window of 7 and 8:30pm, I purchased a new refrigerator for my fiancé. The service from the sales man was excellent. The date of delivery was set for 2/14/15 between a window of 3:30 and 7pm. The delivery people got to my fiances house around 6:30pm and installed the refrigerator. The problem here was that when they installed the refrigerator, they left the kitchen sink within my finances house inoperable only to tell my finance and her mom, "WHO IS YOUR PLUMBER" and "WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE CALL FROM CONNS TO GIVE US A 5". After hearing this, I was pretty upset and made a call to the Conns Delivery and Distribution Center located in Dallas Texas off of Interstate 20 E, around a window of 7:52pm , 2/15/15. When making that call the first time I was disconnected. I then called back again around 7:34pm, again as of 2/15/15, where this time I spoke to a Supervisor by the name of Nicholas. I explained to Nicholas my problem who then went ahead and set me up with someone to come by my finance house the very next morning, 2/16/15. However, it appears from what ever process Conns has in place on handling follow up visits with respect to Delivery and Service and logistics, once again it didn't go well because this time when a technician was sent out, which was12:17pm (originating from a call that actually came from the service tech himself) they went to the wrong address instead of going to the address as to where the merchandise was shipped too. At this point I was even more frustrated because once again Conns dropped the ball. It was after receiving that call from the tech, I called the store I had purchased the refrigerator from, who I also spoke to a supervisor at that time which was the Dallas location located at 75 Central Expressway and Royal Ln, who told me that the matter would be resolved around 12:38pm. I then followed up that call and called the corporate office located in Beaumont Texas; where I was transferred from department to the department, from customer service to Delivery, to Installation, and all of them telling me that " WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANOTHER DEPARTMENTS PROBLEM THAT WE DIDN'T MAKE THAT DIDN'T COME FROM OUT DEPARTMENT", this was one of the response from one of the CSR's who's name is Linda. When I asked when they could send someone out, I was told 2/18/15 with respect to a time still unknown. I was then placed back on hold only for the call to be disconnected. I have been a customer for a while now and have never received this kind of customer service from anyone with respect to anything I have ever purchased and this is the level of service I receive for my purchase? If this happened to CEO: Theodore M. Wright, CFO: Brian E. Taylor, COO: Michael J. Poppetheir house or even one of their houses and this what they were being told and they were treated like this I wonder what they would be doing and much less even saying. If they are reading this right now and I hope they are I hope they know that this is not right, it's not fair, and this is not good customer service and the matters does need to be resolved. Conns as it name states is a Conn!!! I bought upwards of $6000 worth of merchandise in 2017 and paid everything off in less than a years time with a final pay off of $4500 on 12/2/17 thus closing off all my accounts as "paid." On 12/5/18 Conns, without authorization , debited my bank account $285 for a final pay off on a DVD player. I paid that $285 on 12/2/17 . I have bank records and receipts. I immediately contacted Conns and was rather nice thinking it was an honest mistake. Conns acknowledged they made a gross mistake and promised me a return of my $285 but the process may take up to six weeks. I was cool and stated okay I am in no rush. Well those six weeks have long passed going into close to twelve weeks and Conns is doing everything it can to not return my money that was illegally debited from my bank account (accessing ones account with out authorization is a crime). Conns admits to the mistake and even went so far to say my "refund" has been authorized and that the check is up in the credit department waiting to be sent. For nearly six weeks I have been calling morning and evenings for updates on my check but to no avail. I keep getting more and more lies for update status. It is unbelievable how many stories these people at customer service can come up with. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, contacted my bank to say the charge is fraudulent and will be next looking at hiring a lawyer and sue Conns for illegally debiting my bank account and failing to return my money they stole from my bank account. Once again...Conns admits to the mistake and told me a refund has approved but no check has been sent and we are close to twelve weeks and I am no closer to having my money returned to me. Odd if you are late one day Conns is all over with countless phone calls demanding payment but if the shoe is on the other foot (Conns owe a customer money....they avoid paying it back). Please take my advice do not do business with Conns and if you do not heed my warning absolutely do not trust Conns with your banking information or what happened to me could very well happen to you as well. read more

Don't take my advice - go to The Gallery Furniture Facebook page and judge the reviews and comments for yourself. It is definitely worth the time and drive to just go have a look. I gave a one star only because there was not a zero star option. If you're planning on buying anything from Conn's. DON'T! Go read the reviews. I wish I had before doing business with them. My first time buying from them will be my last. In November we bought a refrigerator from them, the one we bought had the option of a second ice maker installed in the freezer section. We wanted it, we use a lot of ice. We payed the extra 100.00 and it was supposed to be installed. When they delivered it, they said they were no longer installing them. I called the store and spoke to the manager about it, he was surprised and said he wasn't aware they were no longer installing them. He spoke to his manager and called me back and said it was lack of communication between the store and warehouse. He didn't know they were no longer installing them, so they were going to go ahead and install it for us. He was supposed to get back to me with an install date. Well guess what. He never called back, when I tried calling him, he was out, or in a meeting etc.... I left messages each time, to no avail. I finally spoke to someone who put me in touch with the warehouse. When I talked to them we set up a day to have them come out and do it. Well guess what? Yep, they never showed up. So today I called them back to see what happened and was told the manager never signed off on the work order, and the manager was going to pay out of pocket for the installation. It was going to cost $110.00 and he was only going to pay $50.00 and we would have to pay the rest. I got the Corporate office' phone number and called them. I got customer service that only talks about payments..... nothing I needed. The lady gave me another number, so I called, and that guy says "oh we still install them, but your invoice didn't have an installation order on it." So I blew a gasket on that poor man. So, I go online and find the Corporate office number, CEO etc... I called and , sure ' nuf, I get customer service where all they deal with are payment issues. I am so FURIOUS!!!! This is place is terrible. My husband and I purchased a LG fridge. This is the second time in two years that it just stop cooling. Everything in my fridge and freezer went bad and had my kitchen smelling like death. We called in for a repair and the lady said a tech would be out today Friday June 26 20. she stated someone will contact us between 7-9am to inform of us the time the tech will be arriving. around 9:30 am no one called so we reached out to them only to find out the lay Annette put the ticket in without a tech being available in our area. the man Jerry we spoke to this morning informed us that he will put another ticket in but it take two business days to generate. Which will be Tuesday June 30 2020. I have a family of eight. My husband and I have to order take out for the majority of the our meals. We are not a family that eat take out. I prepare of my family food. This has been a huge inconvenience for my family. You can never reach anyone in the corporate office. I'm going on all social media platforms and given out bad reviews. Love the temperpedic bed, no issues there. Unfortunately, the couch my family purchased has become an unnecessary annoyance. The power cord did not work at the time of delivery. They replaced it but then the vibration did not work on one side. Took 3 weeks to get someone to look at the couch. The serviceman came by my house with no prior notification or time scheduled, calls me and says I need to reschedule for next week. Also, I called customer service. Twice they forwarded me to furniture service and the automated machine hung up on me. The third time, a very nice lady named Kristi told me the phone line wasn't working. If that was the case, WHY DID THEY KEEP FORWARDING ME??? I've left emails and messages saturday, it's Monday afternoon and they say there is no openings: they cannot be more specific because the regional manager is not at work today. So I'm waiting for my couch to be fixed because of someone else's mistake. It's been another week since the service center stopped by my house without prior notification. They called twice during the week to tell me they have no available openings in the schedule. This business is run by liars and thieves. read more

In December my family went to Conns at Gateway in Beaumont My 4 year old autistic son picked one out that was $3000. We could only get financed for $2000. I told them I would return when I could pay the difference. On February 26th I received a voice mail that my fridge would be delivered on th 28th. My son heard this. I called them back and informed them that I had not signed a contract and if there was one it was forged. Lacy, the lady who called said some one would contact me. Regina, the same person who I spoke with in December called back and tried to get my to agree to a 3 year contract at over 29 percent interest. I said no. Was told they would call back. How is it a big company like Conn's first off can't get to an air conditioner that's not working for 4 days?? Then once they come out the "tech" orders parts, but orders them the next freaking day!! I'm in the house with a diabetic elderly person and the best Conn's can do is say we have to just wait. Can u talk about pissed off!! We are in Texas where 75 degrees feels like 150 degrees. Ok so fast forward to the parts coming in 8 days later, another tech gets here to find out all the correct parts had not been ordered!! 2nd tech calls around and finds the part but goes off and does another 2 jobs then comes back to us, ok that's fine. 2nd tech removes all the old parts put the new parts in to only fund out the compressor is out. ARE U FREAKING KIDDING ME!! So now we're in day 9 with NO AIR and we have to wait another 2 days just for management to get to the office just to see if they can even order the compressor!! Wow thanks Conn's for really caring about your customers, especially the elderly!! Thanks "tech" 1 for really not giving a shit about the customers and tech 2, u are appreciated because u are the only one that tried!! I purchased a stove, computer, washer and dryer from Conn's. The finance was great. The computer and washer is still doing good so far, but the stove and dryer has gone out.(In less that 2 1/2 years after purchase). 2 months after the stove's warranty was out, the stove went out. The oven is no longer working. It is stuck on "Locked" and the oven will not get hot or even come on. The dryer will no longer work. I called them and I had purchased a "2 year" additional warranty on the dryer, but I was informed that the 2 year warranty was running concurrent with the manufacturer's warranty that came with the dryer. I was not given that information when I purchased the additional warranty. I do not recommend anyone to purchase any items from Conn's. I have purchased items from other companies and I did not have these issues. These items were name brand items, but for some reason they did not last as long as the ones purchased from other dealers. read more

Purchased a new gas stove from Conn's in North Charleston store. This was our second purchase on less than a month. While we paid $200 more for stove, it was because of the store associate who is great. The first delivery went off without a hitch (refrig). The stove delivery is the problem. The delivery men (x2) off loaded the stove in the area of the box that states do not truck her Box bucked at the bottom. Box placed on our garage and was not taken out of box. Driver took pictures of all sides of box, handed the tablet to spouse and had him sign. Did not explain that we were accepting the stove in perfect order. We uncrated the stove and found that it was dented on (r) side and back corner. Placed call to Conn's yesterday (date of delivery) and spoke to Jacara (?). She confirmed that pictures taken by driver showed damage to box and asked for additional pictures of stove and that we would receive a call back by later that day if we got them the picture. No call back. Started calling Conn's today. The Corp office passes the issue off to the delivery warehouse. Explained that I needed a call back by 12:30 est otherwise I wanted to return the damage stove and get refund for stove and extended warranty. No call back. Rec'd call from our store associate stating that decision made and that they would not replace stove and would charge us a 15% restocking fee if we returned it. Spoke with Sarita (?) who claims that decision has not been made and that our claim was still pending. She stated that bottom line is that spouse signed that everything was fine with delivery and would not listen to the fact that the delivery men had not removed box. Asked to speak with her boss and was put off till I challenged her. She stated that she would pass my request for call back to her boss "David". No call received by David. Today sucks...So i went to Conn's and bought a refrigerator. Everything was cool until the delivery and install department guys completely dropped the ball more than demarco murray fumbling last year...So.... I never received my automated call telling me when they would be at my house...why?? bc they could find my name and phone number in their system... and the automated call goes through the same scheduling system(problem#1)...so on my way rushing to the house to meet the delivery guys, I got a speeding ticket (problem #2)..when they arrived, 25 minutes after me, even with getting a ticket, that's when the real problems started...I found out that Conns delivery guys are contracted through a third party, which makes sense bc the truck didn't say Conns on it when they pulled up... I thought no big deal(silly me)... the two guys who delivered my refrigerator we're too lazy to do it the right way... my house is brand new 2015 and in immaculate shape. I just moved in..let's just say my walls are scratched badly, my molding on the stairs are the same, my carpets are quite dirty and will need professional cleaning, they took my front door off the hinges after trying to fit the refrigerator through the door with the doors on like idiots (instead of taking the doors off the refrigerator to have my space to fit through the door and make it lighter to carry) and I had to help put it back on bc the guys got into it because one wasn't pulling his weight, used my Jordan retro 10 as a door stopper, stepped all in my flower beds from wobbling the refrigerator when trying to carry it.... I still don't have a refrigerator bc they scratched it too badly and have to bring me a new one (problem idk how many)...so let's see if Conns Corporate can get this resolved by the time I syndicate my posts across the most popular and credible reviews sites for furniture companies on the web:) (FYI I work for the#1 digital marketing firm in the U.S.)..btw their off to a bad start because the drivers tried to lie and ocver their asses. I STRONGLY URGE FOLKS DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY CONN'S ELECTRONIC STORES ....This has been a nightmare since I got this laptop within the third week the pc has had issues they sold me a used computer at a new price I called them and asked they honor this and take the pc back and give me a new one they told me no I should have called the first week well duh it went down on the 3rd week so ok I call the warrenty dept in which I paid a extra 299.00 for that service and it is now march 2015 and I have still not heard from them. I called Toshiba and they sent me to click for support who charged me for working on this pc. ok so I make my payments on time and then I collapsed on way to work taken to er put in hospital for 4 days had heart surgery so I called conns immediately after getting out of the hospital and tried to make pymt arrangements finally after weeks of calls and their collection dept harassing me on a daily basis 5 and 6 times a day they agree to half payments now all the sudden they are calling my sick mom who is 80 years old just out of hospital on oxygen they called her 6 times in a row this is ridiculous I have asked for a ceo or higher up to contact me to no avail all they send you is mgrs. who are just as lame as the customer service and collections dept. so I will be contacting the atty general ofc and a consumer advocate this has to stop conns needs to be shut down and anyone who has had or having these issues please feel free to contact me AT dperez539@yahoo.com as I am going to start a case hopefully soon am waiting 72 hours to see if I hear from anyone and see if this will be resolved as I filed a complaint with corp. ofc Beaumont read more
