Service was excellent. Lakashia greeted us when we entered & she smiled while letting us know she can assist us. She didn't pressure us to purchase anything. She listened to what we were looking for and our price range. She took us directly to our area Of interest and then kindly gestured to take a look at the other areas that we may consider of interest. I know - five stars! But it's true. We have used Conns several times when we were in a pinch for appliances (washer and dryer), furniture (living room and dining room) and have been we had a problem. It may take a minute for your new item to arrive but the process of buying is super easy. I always go in knowing what I need and the price I will pay. I also make sure I am preaporoved (online) before even looking online. When my items are delivered- we check everything and I don't sign anything unless it is right. I tell them up front we don't take deliveries at our home after 8pm and if they call and ask if they can come later we kindly say no, and arrange for next day delivery. I always offer the delivery personnel a drink and snack (kindness is easy) and if someone is rude - only one time I ask them to step outside for a moment and I thank them for their time and effort. We went to the Augusta, GA store because our refrigerator was dying and we saw one we liked but it was not available for another 3 weeks. Saw Conns had it cheaper and available within 3 days. Score! Went to the store to look at it and they said they didn't have it, even though the website said there was one left. We ended up buying it online but the day before delivery, we got the phone call telling us it was not in stock. She was wondering if she could get us into a similar model different color $500 more. No... that's not the price we wanted to pay. She offered me a 10% discount. Still a lot more than we wanted to pay. If I could give negative 5 stars I would. We went in looking for a bedroom set and found one that we liked. We ordered it and they said it would be delivered in two days. Two days later, the furniture doesn't show up. So I call and get excuses why they couldn't come. It's okay though, stuff happens, I understand so we reschedule. Well this happens three more times so now I'm getting impatient because either my wife or I need to take time off work to wait for things that aren't coming. Well fifth times a charm this time, finally get my furniture but they only send a driver and no one else to lift the furniture so now I'm carrying my own furniture up the stairs even though I paid $150 for delivery and installation. Well at least I finally have my furniture, right? Wrong... they forgot some of it. So two days later I have to go meet the truck in a parking lot and they give me the furniture in a box to bring home myself. I take it out of the box, only to discover it's the wrong thing. So it's been two weeks and I still don't have my furniture. I called the store and they told me I need to call the warehouse and figure it out myself. Wow, really? The warehouse hasn't been at all helpful and it's looking like I'll never get the furniture that I'm paying for. Their customer service has done nothing to help or remedy the situation. Well may I say that Conn's is awesome the Manager and sales employees are a great team!!! Everyone helps one another no matter what as well each employee though they go through their training there are some things they don't know they must learn as they go but with their Manager help he is calm and patience with them. As a customer I have been to Conn's at least 4 times already purchase a GE Microwave, Samsung 55 inch and a Dining Room Table Set...I think I did pretty good for my budget and the credit that Conn's had given me. I am very well satisfied with the customers service...When a store has a great Manager that is a people person everything just falls into place with everything else...even though women we do change our mind quite a bit and that's ok because that is what we do best... Do not purchase from this store. I placed an order for appliances with installation. Installation was scheduled for a different day than delivery. Installers never showed up. Every time I call I'm told they will get back to me or I'm placed on hold until call is disconnected. I was hold once for an hour. After two weeks of this I asked my order be cancelled and items picked up. They will not schedule pickup until restocking fee is paid even though they have not fulfilled the order as purchased. I am now in the process of filing a complaint with the attorney general of my state. The appliances are sitting in my living room. Horrible company. read more

On first delivery my couch was messed up, so they took that back. My chair and ottoman both had scratches but I decided to keep those as I had no furniture at all to sit on. They have me 10% off of those. Second delivery for my couch and the driver informs me that they sent the wrong feet pieces for my couch. They offered to redeljver a new couch, but chances were the 3rd delivery would go just as bad. So now I am picking up the couch feet at the warehouse and installing them myself. Horrible. read more

If I could rate this at "ZERO" stars, I would!!!!!! This company is horrible concerning servicing your appliances!!!!! I tried my best to work with this company and refrain from doing this review, but ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!!! I have a 3-year-old LG refrigerator that died over three weeks ago (October 28, 2022). No way to feed my small children or myself, and guess what I get from Conn's Home Plus "extended warranty"?? Nothing but a technician that showed up twice, and the third time was a complete no-show!!! The first time he came was to see what the issue was and the 2nd was in replace the part (which took over a week to arrive), but after the part was installed (November 4, 2022), the refrigerator was still not working!!! I have contacted customer support every week and even asked to have my case escalated to corporate. I am still waiting for an update; the only information provided is to wait and that my account was notated. I even tried to log into my account to save a copy of my contract, and they have locked me out of my account!!! Very suspicious, but no worries because I have the hard copies I plan to provide to my lawyer and the Better Business Bureau. We are going into the holidays with no working Refrigerator, no food, and no Thanksgiving!!!! Customer support gives no sound feedback, and here I still sit with a non-working lump of stainless steel for almost four weeks!!!! What is the purpose of paying all this money for an appliance in addition to an extended warranty? Conn's Home Plus will soon face legal issues from me, including social media and online scrutiny and, most importantly, filing a formal complaint through the Better Business Bureau!!!!! I have been more than pleasant and understanding, but at this point, it is BEYOND an inconvenience. Complete compensation should be on the table!! Found a bedroom suit marked 30% off due to some damage and store clerk was able to get price down an additional 500.00 so I also purchased a set of living room tables... only to sit in the store for an hour after I had picked what I wanted as she went back and forth haggling a price "already given" like a car salesman ...needless to say between what I believe was her and her female associate/ boss trying to make commission, somehow the price of the bed after the promised 30% off and 500.00 went back to the original price (ONLY PURCHASED BECAUSE MU DAUGHTER WANTED IT SOO BAD) and it was not until today as I was putting away my receipts that I see a charge for a 4th table that I did not buy. The salesperson we worked with was extremely helpful as soon as we walked in the door. We wanted to purchase a new mattress and we found exactly what we were looking for... that's where my satisfaction ends. We walked in the store at 1:15pm, had our purchase figured out by 1:25. It is now 3:20pm and we are still dealing with paperwork. The girl was sweet but explained she was new and not sure how everything worked. Well after 2 hours we were ready to load our mattress and role out. Just called my husband from the truck because he hasn't come out to load the mattress yet. They waited until we were leaving to tell him we needed to purchase a box spring and they are redoing the paperwork. GET IT TOGETHER! My family received a letter from this establishment stating that we were approved for a credit account worth $2,000 of YES money. We decided to check them out. After applying for the account, the amount of money increased to $4,000. We were in need of a new dryer since the one we have is over 10 years old and was no longer working. The place that it was bought from is no longer in business and we couldn't locate the repairman with that company as well. So it was time for new appliances. Walked into this place looking for a new washer and dryer and came out with exactly those two things at great prices. Upon walking in we were greeted by the manager, Greg. He has a long title but I can't quite remember it. He asked us what we were looking for and directed us to it. He brought over the salesman, Andrew. He showed several makes, models, and brands. He even gave his opinion on which one would work best for our needs. We ended up settling for a LG washer and dryer combo with both being on sales for under $700 a piece, both being 2016 models and had just been put out on the sales floor. I thought this was a great deal for top of the line and very modern appliances. I also would like to add that any new washer and dryer you may buy the dimensions are always the same, so you don't have to measure your current appliances or guess to see if they will fit into the space you are putting them in. The buying process was very simple and quick. We were out the door in about 20 minutes for the whole process including browsing, decided on the right appliances, and filling out the paperwork!!! This whole experience was a great one and we will definitely tell all our loved ones that this is the place you could by all your home appliances and furniture. read more

I came in looking for a chest freezer. As I walked in it seemed nicely laid out. I did see a bunch of sales associates hovering towards the middle of the store so I quickly ducked and weaved my way over to where I wanted to be without drawing much attention. That being said if you want a representative they are easy to find and if you are trying to elude them they will find you eventually. They had a nice selection but overall I felt they were towards the expensive side for what I was looking for. read more

On e of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I bought a Samsung washer and dryer from Conn's. Salesperson tells me the dryer is out of stock but will be in the following week. No problem. I received the email and automated phone call asking me to confirm delivery, which I did. My delivery window was between 3 and 5 pm. Waited until 5:10 and called the store. It takes the manager on duty about 15 minutes to finally figure out the dryer is still out of stock and it will be a month before they can get them in. I asked why did I not receive a call about the dryer (but did received a confirmation text AND phone call stating the delivery would take place.) apparently my sales rep had quit and nobody bothered to call me. The manager offered a couple of options, none of which were satisfactory ....he wouldn't sell us the floor model. He said the model below the one we had wanted was in stock but then we wouldn't "qualify" for free delivery. He had an azure blue set in stock but refused to come off the price ( they're unattractive....which is why they were in stock) After several phone calls back and forth with the manager not offering any kind of concession, I told him to refund my money back to my card. He said he would that do that. I've never seen a manager lose a sale because he wouldn't offer an "outside-the-box" solution, especially after the store failed in its customer service responsibilities. After 2 days, my money still was not refunded. I called the store to inquire why. The gentleman who answered the phone absolutely refused to actually listen to me....kept talking over me. I finally had to raise my voice and tell him to be quiet and listen to what I was saying. He said "well you have to come to the store and get the refund". I told him I would be there in 10 minutes and his exact words were "well we're kinda busy right now...I don't know if we can do it". Needless to say, I was beyond angry at this point. I went to the store and was made to wait about 15 minutes. Needless to say, I will never go back to this store. Awful customer service and lack of knowledgeable employees and managers combined with poor communication skills. But what Conns doesn't realize is that we are about remodel our kitchen with all new appliances.....not only did they lose out on the washer/dryer sale, they also lost out on a 10-15k dollar sale of higher-end kitchen appliances. read more

**AUGUSTA, GA STORE** BUYERS BEWARE!!! They tout lowest payment but if you look at the price of what you're buying and the length of the term you will pay for it, the markup is ridiculous. I purchased a 3 pc furniture suite, advertised as one price but each price was sold as a separate pc of furniture. They never asked if I wanted insurance as I had rental insurance and the insurance was about 10% of the cost of the furniture added into the cost of the finance amount. Then to make matters worse, it took me 3 months to get their insurance removed once I provided proof of my insurance to them. The nice nasty manager that is always lurking at the desk told me that I had to provide more than a copy of my rental insurance to get the insurance taken off so I requested to speak with another mgr. who accepted my paperwork. 2nd issue I had is I had 36 months to pay on the set and after a little over a year of making timely payments and a little extra here and there, my balance NEVER decreased!!! WHAT?? So, I finally decided to pay the balance off of $2400 and upon doing so assuming my account would remain OPEN but carry a $0 balance, 2 weeks post payoff was informed by my credit fraud notification service that my account had been listed as CLOSED!!! No warning, no 0 balance, no paid and closed, nothing... JUST CLOSED!!! So I called to ask why they closed my account and wiped out my entire payment history with them and was told I didn't have a revolving credit account??? Are you kidding me? Then why were you writing me and asking every time I came into the store to make a payment if I wanted to increase the balance on my "account" 3 or $4000? Sounds like revolving credit to me. In any case, I will never do business with this company again and recommend you do the same. It's not difficult to get approved with them, that's the easiest part. The hard part is the incompetence and lack of ability to do simple tasks for the benefit of the consumer. Long story short, they just want your money and as much of it as they can get. I only came here because they had a furniture set that I had not found anywhere else and I wanted it that badly but if they are the best you can do and you don't have a lot of money to buy your furniture, then good luck to you but save yourself some headache and financial heartache and please shop around, ask questions, READ your contract and payoff early!! I purchased a new washer and dryer from Conn's just over a month ago. Last Sunday the still practically brand new dryer quit working. I've been trying since then to get my dryer fixed but keep getting the run around from Conn's and Samsung. I've been told they can't find anyone to repair it, ok fine then just replace it. I'm told by Samsung they'll give me a refund but that still leaves me with a dryer that doesn't work and doesn't do me a lot of good because the refund would go to Conn's. I will never buy anything from them again. All I want is my dryer fixed or replaced but apparently that's not going to happen. read more

I will never EVER buy anything from Conn's again!!!!!!!!!! Anybody thinking to buy from these people better "buyer beware"!! We purchased a Bose system from them last weekend ($1625.00) and after hooking it up, it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Today I want to return it..but noooo...it wont be that easy. Apparently in their return and exchange policy, you have to pay 15% restocking fee!! In other words.... I have to pay $244.00 to return a product that I'm not satisfied with! What a rip off! The kicker is...the salesman that sold me this thing, didn't mention a WORD about the restocking fee while he was busy selling me the extended warranty, but he was all about telling me how I would get a phone call from Conn's asking if he gave me good customer service. Even better, I was thinking to buy new furniture from them after Christmas, but according to their "return policy", you" cant return furniture, mattresses, décor OR accessories unless its inspected by a Conn's Service Tech and found to have a manufactures defect". First impression I was very excited the salesman and manager were both very pleasant and gave reassurance on any concerns I had. My husband went in to purchase two rooms of furniture and as someone else stated it took them 2 1/2 hours to check the warehouse, and set up delivery. We paid in full at that time. He was told they could not deliver to our location until Sunday 10/8, which was fine for our purposes. We were told we would receive a call prior to delivery, after not receiving a call we contacted the store to find out when to expect the delivery. They were surprised as they did not have us on the delivery schedule, we were give three different people with three different reasons or not even knowing what had happened, the manager told us they no longer had some of our furniture. They literally sold it to someone else, did not hold it, had the nerve to say it was First Come, First Serve! We came first and gave them the money! We still do not have furniture and did not hear back from the Store Manager who told my husband he would call back and let us know what was happening, that was at noon yesterday almost 24 hours ago! read more
