I would rate this 0 if I could. We were drawn in by the "travel center". This is no travel center, it is a crappy hole in the wall. I was hoping for a bathroom stop, but all that was offered was a disgusting porta-pottie in the parking lot, no flushing toilets. To top it off, since I was tracking expenses on the trip, I noticed that although we got a receipt for $8.00 for our gas purchase (we topped off the tank), the amount that was charged to our card was $8.09. A lot more? No. But if I receive a receipt for $8.00, I should be charged $8.00. It leads me to believe this is a shady, cheat location trying to pass itself off as a big travel center, while it is just overcharging people for gas and offering porta-potties instead of flushing toilets - the standard at any "travel center". read more

Cashier was very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was clean, and adequately supplied with paper supplies. High cost. Small. Not a large variety of choices. read more

The men's restroom is accessed from the outside and it had NO water in the sink. The women's restroom is inside and the hot water was turned off - only cold water available - not sanitary! Adequate paper towels and tp. It was nice that there was a bar on the wall to help me get up from the very low toilet. cashier was nice. Extra star for having charging stations! read more

Had higher hopes, but there was signs of respecting COVID-19 safety concerns. While having the door opened for me, not thrilled with staff smoking at the doorway and the place smelled of stale cigarettes. read more

The place has the cheapest gas between Santa Fe and Colorado Springs. The pumps are new but the one that I used twice on this trip did not fill my tank so be sure and top it off manually. The restroom is OK. The store is small but fer Chrissakes you are in the middle of nowhere here so what do you expect? The people are friendly. When a guy showed up, who I suspect is the owner, I asked him where the coffee shop was "around here" that was a converted old house. He immediately said "Oh, that's in Watrous 21 miles south of here". Too funny that he thought 21 miles away was "around here". This is the middle of nowhere! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS! Five miles after filling up, our car would barely run. There was water in the gasoline. The car was jerking and we had to pull over every few minutes to let the water separate. It was very dangerous, especially because it was dark out. We got some Valvoline water remover in Raton and it helped for a while, but there was just too much water in the tank for it to clear it up altogether. Once we reached our destination, there was half a tank left. We siphoned it and re-filled the tank, and the car ran fine. Maybe when we got there, their supply was low and we happened to get the junk from the bottom of their big tank. Regardless, I will NEVER go to this gas station again. What a nightmare. read more

Coming from the highway after driving since early morning we pulled over to get gas and refresh, use the restroom and stretch. We got there at 7:45. Thursday September 16th, 2021. The parking lot was full there was two woman inside one with dark long hair heavy set. Other dark hair pulled up mopping the floor. The heavy set one watched as several people tried to get inside the store. She said nothing to these patrons, not were closed early for such and such reason it was before 8 even though the website says open 24 hours. She actually got so frustrated from people asking why she is closed early and why she wouldn't help the people that used their cards and was charged but wasn't approved for their gas that she called the police on them. Then as a woman was getting ready to walk into the restroom with her child at 8:00 the lady with the ponytail says she has to hurry and lock the door because of the alarm and that there is a portable restroom on the other side of the building. As she walks off talking about how "she doesn't understand how people doesn't get the." pretty much jest of them closing. 15 minutes early might I add. And being as rude as can be about it as well. After traveling 1600 miles and many of towns and many rude people. This one takes the cake. At least the rude people in other states just don't speak back these two woman talk about you in front of you like you're invisible with you standing right there. Kentuckians have southern hospitality and you two missies surely need your bottoms spanked and hard because your mommas didnt teach you any manners. And shame on that manager for letting them be the voice of his store. read more

LOVED this gas station. Extremely clean and the man at the counter was so nice. They also had milk substitutes for coffee. I was so surprised! Especially on a long road trip, I don't want to have milk so almond milk was great. Will be stopping here again! read more
