She agrees to do a foot surgery on your toe…read more Imagine the entire staff working on your foot agree you need this surgery because of the way your foot steps Imagine being given steps and procedures required to get approved for surgery including a cardiolgist approval for anesthesiologist and blood lab work from your general practitioner whom also has to sign off on the surgery. Imagine beginning the journey. Gas money. Making the appointments , having to wait 30 days for a stress test going to 3 cardioligist visits to get his approval Imagine returning back & forth to the podiatrist. Giving updates. Keeping them in the loop. Imagine being told your podiatrist is leaving site but the lead podiatrist kutchback will take good care of you. Imagine being told the entire care team that was on board with the surgery are staying and are caring for you. Seeing you every other week with kutchback. Imagine having to take 2 blood tests in a span of 60 days to cover the 30 day window of surgery because the cardiology work up was taking so long so the first was void and so the podiatrist office says go take the blood work AGAIN Imagine setting the appointments. Clearing with the cardiologist , clearing with the family practitioner Imagine being told in a 30 day crunch window...... the podiatrist .... took a week off..... another week delay Imagine being scheduled for pre-surgery with the podiatrist Imagine being told surgery is Tuesday the 21st Imagine scheduling with work time off and keeping them in the loop. Imagine being contacted by Memorial Hermann in preperation of surgery Imagine suddenly , going in for pre-surgery and kutchback says " No. Not going to do it. Refuse to do it. Only seen you 5 or 6 times. If I do surgery on you. I am married to you. " Imagine all this time spent. Imagine if I was out of pocket and had to pay for this financially. I am only out of my own time , preperation , a half of pint of blood , several tests that his office said ....had to be done I got it done. Everything was 200 percent. Naw. Not feeling it. I didn't even know I was scheduled for surgery Tuesday. I am just now looking in your file and I am just now seeing that your x-rays and I am just now deciding 60 days later your toes don't look right , I don't approve doing the surgery Breathesssssss Ok. What is the plan ? Well we are not having surgery No plan. They were able to do X-rays there he looked at the mri's I brought in. He showed me on the X-ray what the problem was. He explained my options well, and they gave me the referrals I needed as well as a detailed treatment plan with exercises that I could do at home before I left. I also have been able to reach out to him through the app about questions and help getting information to the doctors I was referred to .

We arrived about 10 minutes late (life happens), but the front office staff was patient and didn't make it a thing, which I appreciated more than they know. We waited roughly another 10 minutes before being called back, so overall, the timing wasn't bad at all. I believe we were seen by a PA or nurse rather than the doctor, but honestly? The visit was still thorough and didn't feel rushed. They moved quickly and ordered an X-ray right away. The results showed a calcium buildup that resembles a tumor, which was definitely concerning, but it felt reassuring that they didn't drag their feet. She was promptly referred out for an MRI, with plans for a follow-up appointment once those results are in. Not the news you want, but the process felt efficient, attentive, and handled with care--which counts for a lot when you're already stressed.

TERRIBLE office staff! They are very unprofessional! They don't answer the phone and won't return…read morecalls/messages. Their billing lady works at home like one day a week and takes forever submitting anything to the insurance company. Because of the delays, the insurance company doesn't have an accurate deductible met. They said if I was over charged based on their estimates, I would have to 'call back' to get a refund because they are 'too busy to review everyone's file.' As it turns out, I was overcharged because what they billed me is more than what my EOB says I should have paid. Shelly, the office manager said they don't submit everything to insurance and charged me $40 for a band aid! I've been waiting a week for an itemized bill from Shelly and still haven't received it. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE. It's a joke and a not funny one.

Was referred to SRO by my St. Luke's doctor. I had been experiencing back and leg pain eminating…read morefrom my spine for many months. No injury cause, just getting older (67). Saw Dr. Paul Chin, originally diagnosed as labral tear, did PT and Chiropractic, no improvement. MRI revealed spinal isues, referred to Dr. Edmund Choi. More PT and Chiro and recommended Hemilamenectomy. No improvement, elected for surgery March 2024. Dr. Choi supposedly performed the Hemilamenectomy and pain level reduced for a couple of weeks, then came back worse than ever. Continued PT, Chiro and Aquatic Therapy with no reduction in pain. Even tried another injection. Nothing was improving. I ended up getting another MRI and a 2nd medical consult from a Nuerosurgeon who reviewed multiple MRIs (pre and post op) and questioned me as to what surgery Dr. Choi had performed. My new Nuerosurgeon at Memorial Hermann-Woodlands said there was no evidence of any previous surgery in my spine and we were both shocked. Needless to say, I hired the Neurosurgeon to repair my spine which he skillfully completed in August 2024. I'm now 100% pain free and walking well (no thanks to Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics and espcially Dr. Choi). A couple of positive comments re: SRO - Office staff are excellent. Dr. Beukelman is a great chiropractor. All the PT crew were excellent, especially Aquatics with Kristin! I can not recommend Dr. Edmund Choi and suggest getting a second opinion to ensure adequate care. I spent almost a year in debilitating pain because this doctor couldn't fix the problem. A HUGE disappointment...
