Love Consignment Heaven when it comes to finding new pieces for my home. They have large, big ticket items and also smaller home décor vintage pieces. Great customer service and they're always super helpful. Love how the pieces are further discounted the longer they're in the store. Beautiful paintings, rugs, and ornate artwork. Parking can be a bit challenging because of the area but I've lucked out when I visited the past few times. Love browsing their large selection and they also have a second floor with more items. Prices are pretty reasonable as well which is a big plus. Love visiting! read more

Like walking into an elegant home in the 1940's. Prices are very reasonable. Most items are of a traditional style. I did not see any retro/modern furniture on my visit. I did like to come look and browse at this store to see what treasures and bargains I might find. The staff there was never very friendly when I went in. Sort of snobbish, but oh well that's how it is sometimes when you go into s cons had stores. I found a dining table I really liked and found out that if I waited till it had been there 90 days it would go to half off, if it was still unsold. Well I waited and I was overjoyed so I bought it. I told the lady working who helped me I would be back Sunday to pick it up and she said that'd be fine. So Sunday comes and I rent a van because I also had to pick up other furniture purchases I had made for my new house. So this is my last stud and I get there and there is no place to park, I drove around for ten minutes finally finding somewhere. I go in the store the table is buried in the center of the store, cleared off and ready go. I was expecting it to be dismantled ready to load in the van. Instead a very unfriendly guy tells me they don't do that. And then helps me take it outside and lays it in a blanket in front of the store and mind you its 100 degrees outside. I go in and ask for an Allen wrench. We don't have one is the reply, ours was stolen. Both people working are now telling me, they have no tools, don't help load the item in your vehicle and virtually of no help! And with a most unfriendly attitude. So I go to Target a couple miles away buy an Allen wrench, go back have to double park take out 8 huge bolts and load table myself- in 100 degree weather! If you shop there be forewarned- you will get little or no help what so ever and it is a rather difficult place to buy anything! Better off at an estate sale, a store with helpful associates or buying new! read more

Consignment Heaven is my absolute favorite store in Dallas. I have done business with them for well over fifteen years, and over time, have pretty much furnished my entire house with beautiful antiques from their shop (and silver, and paintings, and even things like serving spoons)! This is absolutely the place to go, if you want everyone to think you inherited a bunch of beautiful things. Sometimes I just go there to have a look, and chat with the folks that work there. They are ALL fun and kind people, and there's a wealth of knowledge there. Learn something new about antiques every time... It's like a personalized Antiques Road Show. Plus (and good to know) if you buy something really big that won't fit in your car, they have someone who provides expert antique moving for a very reasonable fee. In my opinion, their prices are very, very good. Go browse at some other antique shops, and compare. read more

"Bait and Switch' - Walked into resale furniture/antique shop, picked up two items clearly marked with professional 25% off stickers on each tag in same exact spot. When I hauled the items to the counter (no help provided) I was suddenly informed that one of the items was not 25% off. I requested that the price be honored as marked, like ALL stores do, and was admonished by the two woman staff that "We are part time employees, so we cannot." I pointed out that the store should absorb their error, not the customer. A woman with English speaking accent rebuked me by shaking her finger in my face. When I arrived to look at mirrors, found them stacked together with sign directing me to ask for assistance. I was told by the women that they were unable to move anything and had no physical help for looking at furniture, mirrors, or rugs. Again, I was told they were, "only part time workers" while being referred to as "honey." Though most of the items are somewhat substantial, not requiring a truck but requiring some assistance to load in a car, I was informed that THEY HAD NO ONE to physically assist their clients. Rudest employees I have EVER experienced. No attempt at being courteous or helpful. A very unpleasant experience. And, as a consignor, I have gotten very little for the items I entrusted for sale by Brant Laird, the owner. read more

I absolutely love this place! They have the friendliest staff in Dallas! I have purchased many pieces of furniture and accessories for my home from Consignment Heaven. When I am on the hunt for something in particular, I will visit them twice a week since their inventory changes so quickly. I have found great savings on high end designer furniture, antiques and lighting. If you find something you love, you should not hesitate to buy. It probably will not be there in a few days. I have consigned with them as well. They sold my dining room table and chairs and I received my check in the mail for the price I had agreed to consign it for. I prefer to consign instead of having it listed on Craigslist, Ebay or worse ... a garage sale. Having to deal with strangers is not for the faint of heart. read more
