Mecox fits the bill! They are pricey but I dare you to find any of their inventory anywhere else. Everything is unique and of high quality. I love the idea that the items we bought are rare and won't be seen in every transitional DFW home. Furthermore, the "Cheers" atmosphere is unmatched in the area. David is one of the most talented and genuine human beings in retail. All the staff is truly wonderful, however, I feel like I not only found a great place to shop but also a friend in him. He makes spending $2k on a lamp or $3500 on a chair feel good! Lol. You will never regret your purchase here-they even have a 24 hr try period where you can use your credit card to reserve a piece, take it home, make sure it suits the room, and decide if you want to keep it or return it. I sent an inquiry to A&A and received a very enthusiastic reply saying my chairs were great and as soon as I agreed , she would send over the consignment form. Pretty standard. 50/50 split, but if she sells them online she charges you the consignor another $100 fee. But oh and you have to deliver the pieces to them. They have no delivery or pickup infrastructure in place. What kind of furniture store doesn't deliver ??? I explained in email that my chairs will not fit in either of our vehicles ( and I will not crush them in to make them fit ) and I got ... crickets. No further replies. This store wants no hassles , just bring them the stuff, then they rob you of half the value plus and then make the buyers pick up! Crazy. Plus the quality of items they sell is questionable at best. See a photo of these formica hexagon tables that are chipped dirty and frankly look sourced from a thrift store. So given that they want nothing to do with handling their stock ( my stock essentially ) why would I entrust my chairs to them? Since writing this Erin has sent two emails to get me to change my review.

The first impression when you walk in is that the place is a lot bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. There are several vendors inside with rented spaces and that gives people who come here to shop a huge selection. There is furniture, collectibles, t-shirts, and more inside the place. Each vendor brings something a little unique to the mix, making it an eclectic place to shop. Today is seemed like several of the vendors, most of whom already had pretty fair prices, we're having a sale, bringing even more value to the shoppers. I bought a beautiful antique small writing desk and got it for what I think was a great price. I also bought several small collectibles on sale for very reasonable prices. It was a great place to visit and I will be back periodically to keep an eye on what the vendors bring in to sell...

This place hooked me up excellent. I bought an amazing couch here for $350 (new). When I was looking at two other stores in the DFW area, the SAME exact couch was priced at $60 more expensive and $500 more expensive. Yes, you can get the same couch here for $500 less than other stores in the DFW area. That's INSANE. They also have a clearance section in the back with returned furniture that is marked down to dirt cheap prices. I got a like new night stand for $35, an amazing bookshelf for $57 and a solid TV stand for $90. A new dresser here cost me $250, new kitchen table was $100 and as I said earlier my couch was $350. That's a total of $882 to furnish an entire apartment with high quality furniture. I have friends that have spent over three grand furnishing their place! The deliver service they utilize is a bit pricey ($85 flat rate) but it beats hiring movers. The guys working here are super friendly and don't try to push you into buying anything. This place is where you want to visit if you don't feel like spending a fortune on furniture but still want high quality stuff.

The retail location referred us to this outlet location, and we're very thankful they did. In fact, some of the same items we looked at that were 400$ at their retail location, were $180 at their Outlet store. This place is a bargain for high quality furniture. It's clear their stock changes regularly, so I highly recommend checking this place out on the regular. Interestingly enough, one of the new chairs we bought had a rental return that matched, so we got a matching pair of designer high quality chairs for a steal. Be sure to look at the entire store. The facility isn't as nice as the other one, with this one having more of a warehouse feel. I'm not even sure it's as big as the retail location, but you're not here for the facility anyway. You're here cuz you're going to save a fat stack on some furniture. Marco was really helpful and very knowledgeable about the furniture. He showed us everything and was very informative. Francisco was nice and friendly, and was even flexible when my wife demanded pillows that went with a different couch... even though we had already paid. Delivery was smooth. We actually purchased items at both locations, and the delivery company owner Alex picked up items from both stores to deliver them for us on one delivery, and for a bargain! Alex and his crew was very familiar with furniture delivery and all furniture was delivered without any marks on the new items or on the property. He was about 10 minutes early even. To top it off, I negotiated with Alex to move my existing furniture out of the way for the new furniture! I'm no Charlie Sheen, but 'Winning!'
