Also I've been fascinated with seeing this stadium ever since someone gave me as a gift the Gods of the Stadium calendar (mostly naked calendar of French national rugby team, who play here). 5 star staff: unlike the angry almost actively hostile staff at a soccer match in Marseille, Parisians bucked the stereotype and were amazingly friendly and helpful. One usher even sat with us and gave play by play commentary ( he just hopped up to do his volunteer thing when someone looked lost). Merci Jean-Louis! 4 star location: the stadium itself is reasonably new and has been shined up for the Olympics. As a giant stadium before and after the Olympics, logistics were already figured out and easy. Signage was also great, in five languages.

It was very convenient to get here via the Métro 9 line where I got off at Porte de Saint-Cloud. From the station, it was just a short walk over to the stadium. The process of getting in was a very well streamlined process. Please note that while I was able to bring in a bottle of water, I had to throw away the cap. Finding my seat was very easy as there were signs posted everywhere. The place was rocking when France equalized at 3-3. Unfortunately, the host team eventually lost to Spain in extra time. This was a proper stadium to catch a football match!

The tour is excellent, they allow you to self pace through many areas of the stadium; including some locker rooms, luxury suites, and even the field itself. Our little soccer fan absolutely loved the tour and we recommend it.

Went last night to see Racing 92 v Munster at the U Arena...pretty good security to get in...great…read moregame...but this is about the stadium and to be Olympic stadium Was well organised, American style with inner rings...plenty of loos, plenty of food & drink outlets, plenty of helpers, great transport connections, lockers outside to put excluded things in, clean...but...while you can drink champagne, wine, beer...and they even come round in the arena selling Heineken (ugh)...you can't get a coffee or tea anywhere inside (it was freezing outside, very warm inside, then the aircon came on and was drafty) we needed something hot...did I say Olympic stadium...needs a little rethink on that one There are lots of restos all the way there too btw But impressive place all round otherwise, great sound, screens, replays...holds 20-40,000 people depending on set up Some spectators complaining about closed roof, AstroTurf, no weather conditions...but it was a good experience, very enjoyable...but of a change from Yves Le Manoir! Pierre Coubertin was a French fencer who founded the Olympic Games. Fencing is definitely a smaller sport compared to soccer, but to know that the founder of the Olympics was a fencer is really great.

La salle rime d'abord avec sports de combat.
