The sheer opulence of the palace is almost impossible to describe. Every room is more breathtaking than the last, and learning about the history and significance of Versailles made the visit even more inspiring. Standing in a place where so much history unfolded was truly awe-inspiring. We booked a private tour that included transportation to and from our hotel, making the day completely stress-free. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories and historical details that brought the palace to life. After touring the palace, we rented a golf cart to explore the grounds. With temperatures nearing 100 degrees, it was the perfect way to experience the magnificent gardens without having to walk for miles in the heat. The gardens are stunning and deserve just as much time as the palace itself. If you're visiting Paris, I highly recommend setting aside a full day for Versailles. Between the incredible history, spectacular architecture, and beautifully landscaped grounds, it's an experience you won't soon forget.

It was nice…read more Eventhough we came here on a closed event, there were a few numbers that they performed. They were sassy, funny and entertaining. I dont know if they have a dinner show often but in this case that's what we had. The catering company was diligent about appetizers and bread, however, dinner did take a bit too long to arrive. Also on the down side there was no option to purchase extra wine since only a bottle of red per table was provided. (6 people). It was a bit disappointing but maybe next year I will try a regular presentation.

There were multiple tours going on in different languages at the same time but each group went to different sections. So your group might pass another group but you were not together. Our group was about 20 people. When you are facing the opera you go to the left and security about half way down the opera lets you in. Then you check in and wait in a rotunda area. After waiting for probably 15-20 our tour started. They take you to most of the areas and it's semi private. One of the highlights of our trip!

I witnessed the music of the iconic and venerable Herbie Hancock, who even at an age when most of us are lucky to get out of a chair, is hopping around the stage like the soulster he is. It was great to hear and see. The Salle Pleyel is beautiful, comfortable, with great acoustics, and easy bathrooms. That is all I need. Perfect!

They took something that would attract crowds in a gallery in Manhattan, and scaled it into a developmentally appropriate experience for kids--art at eye level, hands-on interaction, just enough context provided in ways that weren't overwhelmingly text-based. There is also an art studio on a lower floor--it looks like they offer classes and free art space.

It felt very intimate and even with seats off center from the stage, we had a great view and I found that I didn't need to look at the projection screens to see what was going on. The entry line was organized, it was sparkling clean (even the bathrooms!), and the no smoking rule was respected by the crowd (I have asthma and smoke exposure will immediately trigger an attack, so that's make or break for me). Also, the location is beautiful. We didn't get any concessions so I can't speak on those but overall it was a wonderful experience.
