I lost over 30 pounds in a short period of time. Rather than referring me to a GI specialist which I begged for they wasted several appointments pushing on my abdomen and scheduled a sonogram in lieu of a referral. Went to show up for the sonogram at 8 am and the office was closed due to weather. No one called and it was never rescheduled. I ended up lying to the doctor about having tremor so I could finally get a referral to a neurologist. Years later I am now diagnosed with an atypical form of Parkinson's disease. The doctor I had here retired and then millennium physicians said I had to be reestablished with a new doctor. So I went to a new patient appointment. I only use this office to monitor my hypothyroidism and cholesterol since they have made me aware that they are incapable of helping me with any of my Parkinson's symptoms. The new doctor ordered lab work, which I did. Then they had me come to a follow up appointment to go over the results. My thyroid was extremely out of whack. Not a small bit out of range but way out of range. You would think this is when they would make a dose adjustment. I believe the vomiting and nausea daily are being cause by my thyroid being so messed up. Now they have ordered me to get lab work done again in November, exact same test, so they can see how it's "trending" before making a dose adjustment. So I said I'm just supposed to keep being sick daily for 3 months until I go back for more bloodwork and another appointment. A 6 month scheme to bilk more money from me and my insurance. I don't recommend this office.

Sat in the lobby for almost an hour past my appointment time while they helped at least a half dozen people who had walked in after me. At about 10:15 AM, I got an email telling me my appointment was cancelled and that I'd need to reschedule, WHILE I SAT IN THE WAITING ROOM. I am going to skip the details, other than to say I never saw my PA, she was AWOL from the practice, one person telling me she was scheduled off, the other telling me she didn't work there and never had. Dr. was not available - out of the office until October. Office manager was not available - hadn't come to work yet, at 10AM. If there was a way to give negative stars, I'd be doing that right now. Already found a new practice to see, they're finding time to fit me in Monday.

I travel 27 miles to see her…read morebecause, after consulting doctors in Fort Myers, Naples, and Indiana, she is the neurologist who was finally able to help bring my grand mal seizures under control. Before finding the right treatment, I was taking multiple medications and struggling with weight gain, depression, and other difficult side effects. Thanks to Dr. Mellor's careful and knowledgeable treatment, I have been able to enjoy precious time with my grandchildren, drive, and continue teaching. Those are blessings I never take for granted. Accepting my seizure condition has been very sensitive and difficult for me, but Dr. Mellor's compassion and support have helped me understand and accept it. As I now face other health concerns, her intelligence and guidance have helped connect me with the appropriate specialists and given me hope that things will be okay. I am deeply grateful for Dr. Mellor and the difference she has made in my life. She is an exceptional neurologist, and I recommend her wholeheartedly.

I had to go to a different doctor to get a referral to the Mayo Clinic, for which my symptoms were serious enough for a 3 week admission. Now they abruptly cut off refilling one of my prescriptions with no warning and didn't call it in temporarily despite the fact that I had made an appointment. I will be finding a new GP.

The office staff is extremely rude and the office itself has a problem with retaining doctors, nurse practitioners, and other staff; the turnaround is ridiculous. I was with them for years until I came in for an appointment and they confronted me, in front of several patients, over $100 in copays that they claim were unpaid. Mind you, I have NEVER been allowed to leave the reception area, to actually see a doctor until my copay has been paid at the reception. When my visit has been over the phone, someone calls to check you in and collect your copay, and only until that is paid does the doctor actually call you back for the actual visit. They will collect your copay then send you a bill or contact you to attempt to collect that same copay. I attempted to handle this calmly and respectfully but after getting yelled at numerous times, I finally left, with a polite f you and will not return. The office manager, Dr. Fernadez's wife, is very unprofessional and their billing person is a thief. I simply asked for them to do some research, to ensure it was not a technical error on their part, to which their response was that their system "does not make errors." Her rude demeanor and condescending attitude created an unwelcoming and hostile environment. It's disappointing that such a negative individual is in a position that requires kindness and empathy.
