I must admit, I was extremely nervous about entering school again after many year's. I'm now 66 yrs old, when most individuals are ready for retirement, I'm ready to go back to school for a new adventure. To continue my education and the development of my skill set. #Justintwist @ #arapahoecommunitycollege has left a great impressionable spirit on me, not only was he professional, patient, understanding & kind... he was inspirational. Justin had the abilities to see beyond what other advisors/career counselors that I've known working with #Linkedin ,and other educational services or #colleges ..believe me I've done a lot of research on continuing me education & career development. I haven't found the type of insight this young man has... Justin has a true passion for assisting other in finding their sweet spot... between the students abilities, interests & values. I really appreciated his guidance that assisted me greatly in my journey. Thank you, Justin Twist

They employ adults with developmental disabilities and have created a space where everyone truly feels welcome. You can tell a lot of thought went into making the environment accessible, from the seating options to adaptive dining tools and sensory-friendly areas. It's one of the most intentionally designed spaces I've seen. The food holds up too. The pizzas are solid with a good variety of options, and everything we tried was enjoyable. The standout for me was Mama's Cinnamon Dessert Pizza. Warm, sweet, and topped with cream cheese frosting, it's easily something I would go back for on its own. They also have craft beer, a fun atmosphere, and even a dance floor, which adds to the overall experience. It's a great spot that combines good food with a meaningful mission.

We had a 1/2 and 1/2 (the relationship saver) with half Hawaiian (no jalapeño) and the pesto and prosciutto. Man they were delicious! We were able to meet Trent (Drawings by Trent) which was awesome! They also had live soft music that was great. We sat on the patio and it was really comfortable and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

To preface, I think if I had reviewed School of Rock when I was still attending the school, my…read morerating would have been higher, but looking back on my experiences there I've found that it fostered a toxic environment. If you're looking to learn an instrument, it's great, but the social aspect is not well managed. Students who did not put school of rock first (over regular school, other activities, and jobs) were not respected by instructors, even though this should have been a fun extra curricular. I found in my personal experiences, staff being rude over missed rehearsals due to illness (pre-covid), lack of respect for seasons off, and an overall disappointing attitude when it came to high schoolers not putting music first (even when it was just an after school activity). The staff frequently became closer with students (showing, at times, blatant favoritism), and instead of instructing them and being the adults to look up to, became involved in petty drama of teenagers - even taking sides if their "star student" was showing less than admirable behavior towards other students. It could have been a fantastic after school experience- and it certainly had its positives, but as long as the school continues to operate the way it does, I would be remiss to recommend the Littleton school. I did have fun at the shows and learned instruments - but I can't say it was worth the experience I had with the instructors at this particular location.

We meet Kyle right outside of the studio by their Woodshop stand sign. We walked down a ramp and to the last suite on the left (I believe). But even with the math, Kyle made it felt easy and informed us of the power tools and made the machines less scary. It was such a great experience and our bookshelves turned out sooo great! We gained more than just bookshelves but confidence in building and a spark for ideas for the next projects. My wife will be joining the intermediate class and build more things for our home.
