You'll get the trademark multi-floor view looking downward on all those buffet breakfast eaters below, as you head down to join the omelette line. There is a thing as too much bacon, but not here. Get a heaping tong-full alongside that egg order, leaving room on the plate for a little something else. There's plenty of table space, since the entire hotel floor is your breakfast playground. Afternoons you can enjoy light snacks and even some hard/soft beverages on the house as well. You're a couple miles from all the fun and all the work, depending on your poison. The suites are roomy and well-stocked, and having the separate living area always feels like you're in the high-roller space. The pool area is pretty large, with child splash pad areas and heating for some colder months. We'd return next chance.

The happy hour reception and breakfast is what always draws me to Embassy Suites hotels but I was a bit disappointed that this one limits the drinks to 2 per person. Also for the morning breakfast buffet, besides the omelette station being extremely slow, they do not have the bacon out at the serving station and they control the portion of bacon you get. Oh and if you don't know that the bacon is hidden at the omelette station, then you think they just don't have it. The pool is nice and warm but we came across a lot of little rocks on the bottom while we were stepping. It's cool they put movies projected at the pool. Enrique was our bartender one night and he's amazing. Other staff at the bar, not that much. They are desperate trying to sell you timeshare and what I call harassing you everywhere around the hotel. It was an ok experience.

We were able to go out and about without worrying about driving, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The hotel was easy to find, and parking is conveniently located right across the street with simple in-and-out access (though, of course, there is a parking fee -- which is never fun). Inside, the hotel is very clean, beautifully decorated, and the staff was accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was on the fifth floor, which I actually prefer when staying in a city -- the higher up, the better to avoid street noise. One of my favorite features of Embassy Suites is the room layout. The separation between the living room and bedroom is ideal, especially if someone wants to rest while others are still awake. The rooms have consistently been clean and feel very homey. Everything was great -- until Sunday morning. This is a dog-friendly hotel, which we love since we bring our dog and take her on walks so she's not stuck inside all weekend. However, checkout morning was pure chaos. One of the two elevators was out of service, it was peak checkout time, and there was also a princess pageant event happening, so the hotel was much busier than usual. Trying to get downstairs with my dog was extremely frustrating. I looked for stairs but wasn't sure if they were alarmed. When I asked an employee to confirm, she looked at me like I had five heads, which didn't help my already thin patience (I definitely did not have enough coffee for that situation). I eventually just went downstairs. Coming back up was even worse -- the line for the single working elevator was ridiculous. When I asked the front desk about the stairs, I was told they were accessible from outside. I didn't realize I needed my key card to re-enter through the outdoor stairwell (which makes total sense -- I was just aggravated at that point). After going back inside and trying again, I ended up walking up five flights of stairs with my dog. Thankfully, we had requested a late checkout, so we avoided the absolute peak of the chaos. Our friends on the third floor ended up carrying their luggage down the stairs because waiting for the elevator wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, being on the fifth floor with a lot of luggage, that wasn't really an option for us. Aside from that stressful morning, we really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary evening happy hour with drink tickets and small bites is always a highlight. We also had breakfast on Saturday morning -- and honestly, the breakfast is a major deciding factor whenever we choose to stay at a Hilton. Overall, a great stay with one very frustrating checkout experience.

City Hall is nearby with lots of office buildings and a few residential high rises. I was there for a concert at the Kia Center and it was about a ten minute walk. There is also a publix and a convenience store within a 5 minute walk. It is very convenient to get to from the airport via bus if you dont mind the ride and about 20 minutes (depending on traffic) from the international outlet mall. The complementary breakfast was decent with my highlight being the strawberry waffle that i was not supposed to eat LOL. Highly recommend this location if you dont want to stay in the more touristy part of orlando.

This is a pet friendly hotel and really was the best option when I was doing research on hotels in Orlando that also had a nice breakfast included. We were in town for a wedding and the 7am weekend breakfast was ready on time and had lots of seating and great workers. The parking was abundant and safe so I do appreciate the gate approach. There are dog poop bag stations around the property and lots of trees and grass around I-drive to make your dog comfortable as much as you can when not at home. There is little to no phone service in the building so it does force you to buy the wifi if you intend on being inside your hotel. I didn't buy the wifi so just used my phone for social media when we left to do the rest of the Orlando activities. That was the only downfall of this Embassy Suites, everything else was great.

It's right on international drive and you are within a 20 minute drive from every major Orlando attraction. Every restaurant imaginable is within a few mile radius. Olive Garden and senior frogs is walking distance away. We chose the embassy suites because my friend mentioned free breakfast and free happy hour (woot woot!). The free breakfast was very good for a hotel breakfast. Tons of options (including non dairy milk and yogurt). The happy hour was also great. They have it everyday from 5-7 (I think) and each guest gets two free drinks per day. My boyfriend said the bartender was super cool too. Another highlight of our stay was the staff. Everyone we came in contact with was truly friendly and helpful. There was only one thing that knock them down from a 5 star to 4 star for me. The hotel could use some renovation. Most notably our couch was noticeably stained, which wasn't a great first impression when we walked in the door. There were also a couple other things that were damaged in the room (cracked counter, chipped toilet, and stained table tops). However nothing that truly affected our stay and the price was very reasonable for what we got.

I really liked the complimentary drinks and snacks from 5:30-7:00 p.m., and the free breakfast with an omelet-making station was a nice touch. The service was friendly, and the bed was incredibly comfortable--like sleeping on a cloud. The rooms were nice but a bit outdated, and my shower had some mold, which bothered me and made me sneeze. The hot tub had a strong bleach smell, and the seating was uncomfortable--very hard and spiked. The pool area can get crowded with kids, but when it's quieter, it's actually very relaxing. On a positive note, the lobby is modern and well-updated. Overall, I'd rate my stay a 4/5.

Oh, and the omelet chef greets you with a smile as you come into the breakfast area-- makes it feel like a good morning. CONS: We had to change rooms several times (first room, the pull-out bed was broken and wouldn't pull out all the way; second room, the shower didn't drain at all and there was a weird smell blowing out of the vents; third room was fine), front desk staff came off as very smug (and no apologies were made for the inconvenience of us having to move rooms several times with kids and a dog? Maybe that's not a thing anymore?), it took at least 30 minutes for anyone to bring pullout bed bedding or towels to the room both times we called, the Omaha Steakhouse inside was definitely one star (made us sick), the pool deck was nightmarishly dirty (hair, trash, etc), and the hotel didn't seem to know what a vacuum is. BUT- Overall, this hotel met all of our needs nicely. Would stay here again in hopes that the pull-out works, the shower drains, and I'd just ask for the bedding and towels at check-in. The location really is excellent.

I'm doing this because people love to complain about the bad without mentioning the good. When I say every single staff member was beyond friendly and accommodating, I've never experienced that at a hotel before and me and my family travel a lot. The rooms were close to perfect and look newly remodeled. Breakfast wasn't over packed and the food stayed replenished. The server at the pool bar was very welcoming as well, like I said ALL staff was super polite. The food was pretty good being pool food but that's to be expected. Each floor had an ice machine and free water refill station. There were also free washing machines on every other floor and free dryer... you just have to purchase the detergent. I'd definitely stay here again!

Seeing some had been delivered, we went on our way for the evening. Returning to put our kids to bed, we realized that although they had brought a blanket and pillow, there wasn't a fitted sheet and only one top sheet. When housekeeping arrived to correct the problem, the housekeeper chose to try to explain to me how all you need is a flat sheet for the mattress and a blanket. While we may differ on how to make up a bed, it didn't matter to my exhausted children, and a Disney-adjacent hotel is not a place where guests should have to argue these details at 11:00 at night

The hotel is beautiful! Every detail is done with care. The rooms, restaurants, pool, lobby, etc are all gorgeous. The staff is friendly and attentive- other than the restaurants. The only issues I ever had were with the wait staff. The service was always very slow. Whether we were at breakfast, or having drinks at the bar late at night. It was consistently very slow service. Not once did the waitstaff ever come by to offer me more coffee at breakfast. So, for service I give 3 stars. However, the bartender at the pool was wonderful! She was very nice and attentive. The valets were all great! The front desk staff were all wonderful. It's really just the waitstaff in the restaurants that need to get better. We loved our room. We had a view of the pool. I did call downstairs to ask for a magnifying mirror and a weight scale. They said they didn't have either. Fortunately they called back and did in fact have a scale and brought it up to my room. I would hope a nice hotel like this would have magnified mirrors for the bathroom. The food and drinks in the restaurants were good. No complaints. The location is great. We walked to dinner and to the nearby lake Eola. There's plenty of things to do within walking distance. I would stay here again.

I visited for brunch. (It's been years) Most of the food is still good. There were only a handful of things that I didn't like. The breakfast potatoes were cold and just not good. They taste like fake food. I didn't like the breakfast link veggie sausages and the tomato bisque was too sweet. I'm sure those can be swapped for something way better. There was no utensil For the waffles. I forgot to ask for one but how come no one else noticed? The staff did replenish the food but not the serving spoons/tongs. They do still have an omelette bar and meat carving station and crepe station. I enjoyed all 3. Clean and organized. Not too crowded. I was a little concerned about the temperature of the oysters on the half shell. If this brunch is going to last, it could use some improvement. After all, It's not a cheap brunch.
