After we filed, he spent a couple hours in court (if that), and we were done. Then come to find out that almost the first year of payments also went to him for "Administration Fees". I have had several questions, which could have easily been answered with just a few minute phone call with him, but after court, he won't even return my phone calls (I've called at least 4 times and not once has he called me back). The secretary said she would be happy to schedule me for a consultation for $60. I don't think so. We've already paid him over $4,000 for a couple days work and he can't return a phone call? I ask the trustee for help and they say they can't help me, I have to ask my attorney. Thanks for nothing Mr. Burke, you are a TURD! Here's my suggestion(s)... if at all possible, don't file BK. It is not a good fix for financial mess ups in life. Instead, make your own payment arrangements with the creditors, make an offer on the balance, and/or use Consumer Credit Counseling to make arrangements where you might get the interest waived. First of all, there's no phone number or way to really get a hold of customer service. They have some email, but you can't actually tell if it's them you're talking to. And if you get locked out of your account, they want you to give them all of your private information Social Security number things of that nature. And when I did get locked out of my account and was told I needed to change my credit card because it had been stolen. Emailed me asking me for private information. Of course I'm not just gonna hand it out to somebody. I don't know. I know that's the correct email for Kikoff? Well, it went downhill from there. I want to call him a gentleman, but he was not anything close to a gentleman. The man on the other end was rude disrespectful and absolutely not helpful whatsoever. It was obvious he could care less. We had several emails going back-and-forth. I tried to very nicely explain my concern and was trying to get a phone number that I could call to know that it was Kikoff or another way. Not only did he not respond to many of my emails. His response was no sorry this is it just cold and calculated. Needless to say they ended up putting my account in collections which I completely don't understand because I didn't give them any money. And put it on my credit when every single month I'm trying to get a hold of someone to try and take care of this and now they're not even returning my emails. I couldn't even get someone to answer me. Shockingly until today. But it's exact same thing. I have to send money to this place. I don't even know if it's them. I can't find any more information about these guys. They're nowhere to be found. They have a PO Box where my check is supposed to go to. I can't do it over the phone or with a credit card so I'm just screwed. This is horrible. If I were you, I would not do business with them. I will be calling the state and the Better Business Bureau. I just don't understand how they can get away with us having our private information and then not having any way to actually talk to somebody about it and rectify the situation.
