When my ex and I started an immigration case with them(about 8-9 months ago) they told us that he would be let out of the detention center within a month or 2. We had been bounced back and forth from person to person and no one could give us correct information. I called them to find out if they are the same firm as one with a different name. When I spoke to someone I said "thanks for your help, I am all set." Since then I have been bombarded with robocalls in Spanish with pre-recorded "urgent messages" for me (I am not even an immigrant--I was calling on behalf of one!). I block each number and then get a call from another phone number belonging to them. This is highly unethical and it is also phone spam. read more

He refused to identify himself as well as transfer the call to his manager for calling me with no information on why he was calling. Utter disaster of a firm. Immigration is a tense thing to deal with for anyone. In our case, we requested a time to speak with a lawyer and were looking to retain this firm. We were given a call time of 3:00 on a Saturday. We waited for the call, which we did receive. We spoke with an agent that took general information about us and told us she was sending the info over to an attorney, and then told us she would put us on hold and to wait for the attorney to join the call. We sat on hold for 20 minutes. I finally gave up. The agent never returned to let us know what the hold up was, never called back, nothing. It feels like this business preys on desperation and lack of clarity that surrounds immigration options and rules instead of being actual advocates for the people seeking their services. I personally have worked at law firm (during college) and our clients were never asked to wait like that on the line, much less ignored to the point they gave up. What's worse is that there was no follow up from anyone to fix the mistake or reschedule. I would steer clear of the firm - first impressions matter, and we were more than ready to pay for services but they made it clear that client service is not important to them. read more

I am an American citizen and don't speak Spanish. The calls have been all Spanish-speakers who hang up on me when I try to ask why I'm being called. Either give me an answer for why I am being called every hour, or stop calling me. Based on your other reviews, your current cases aren't given the attention they need or deserve. If you stop calling people 13 times a day, your employees can help make progress on the active cases. read more

I have never met a group of people more incompetent until I became a paying client of consumer law group. I originally filed for advance parole with them in November 2022 and my document was produced and delivered to them on May 2023. They failed to inform me that they had ever received it, despite my constant calls to them expressing concerns. Consequently, my travel dates expired and I was not able to travel at the time. They refiled my advance parole application for me and once again they failed to notify me that they had my document. My advance parole document was produced on December 16, so they had it for almost two weeks without notifying me of its receipt and now I only have three weeks left to travel with my advance parole. They are lazy and they don't do anything and it is terrible practice for the customer to have to be chasing them down to see if they have a time sensitive document. When I called and they realized they had it, one of their staff members offered to email it to me, but does she not realize that the actual document is needed to re-enter the US? Their staff is honestly dumb and lazy and I do not recommend them at all. Do yourself a favor and join groups on Facebook where you can find guides to file your advance parole and daca on your own and save yourself a headache! read more

My uncle got a DUI and didn't have papers to be here legally, he eventually was told he would be deported. I took him here because my friends girlfriend had gotten her legal situation worked out and I'm glad I did. These guys told him up front what to expect and in the end they were able to get the DUI dropped and he is now applying for a visa (he was a victim of an accident and they told him that because of that he would be able to stay) if we never had gone my uncle would've been in Mexico right now and away from his family. Shout out to the whole team they really came through. The only bad thing is it's kinda out of the way (I live in Hoffmann states) but it was worth the drive Also, I have to mention this place was out of the way so the drive wasn't the greatest but it was worth it in the end. read more

Okay. Upon calling there is some weird awkward music playing.... I get a pick up and it's really loud in the background, it reminds me of a calling service I worked at years ago. The person is speaking Spanish. I tell him I don't speak Spanish and he transfers me to someone else...... that's also speaking Spanish. Then on the 3rd try I get a guy who seems nervous and rattled and desperate for customers... I'm not trying to come off rude, but that's how I took it. I proceed to telling him what I need and without even listening he tells me I should come in and they can help me. So I ask him again.... "Are you guys sure you handle that kind of thing? " Then he tells me that actually they don't and he could refer me but he just doesn't know to who. UHHHHHH WHAAAAAAA? Dude are you awake? 1. First two answers upon calling were speaking Spanish before even getting my name or anything.... this is the US, and although I am Latin the primary language is ENGLISH. 2. Guys sounds nervous and rattled 3. He tells me he can help then says he can't 4. He tells me he can refer me.... only to tell me in the same sentence that he doesn't know who he can refer me to. If the service is anything like the people answering the phones then I'm sorry, but I'm good. I guess the yelp reviews are right about this place. If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst experience ever! Beware. When I first went for my free consultation (2018), I was promised soo many things and even made me feel bad about not hiring them as my attorneys. Long story short, after I hired them, I had to be the one contacting them for an update. I had to call places myself because the information being given to me by the actual "attorney" was incorrect. I had to go to CPD headquarters to obtain certain records because they couldn't even do such a thing. I was the one doing the freaking process! There were countless times that the "attorney" and "case manager" and I got into disagreements which they always said were arguments. After such a horrible experience for nothing, I decided to take a settlement offer (which was only about $400-600 more than what the insurance company was offering me prior to hiring them). The day I accepted the settlement offer I was told the deductions/fees which I was okay with. The day I picked up the check, I'm $1K short due to "fees" which was NOTHING that I had discussed with them the day I accepted the offer. I even had a scratch paper the freaking attorney used to write down the numbers! I showed them and the "case manager" came to talk to me. She was hostile, rude, disrespectful and not once cared about the case. I was beyond frustrated and demanded an answer as to why I was being charged a fee of $1K over something they did not had a full effort to, over something I had to call places myself and over lies. Her response? "You chose to call those places". PATHETIC! But wait! There is more. To top all of this horrendous experience, my name was misspelled on the check. I told them and was told I had to wait about a week for a new one. Hahaha. I took my check and kissed this crap hole goodbye. This was about 2-3 months ago and I am STILL waiting to receive a letter I demanded from them stating I don't owe their physical therapy doctor anything. Once again, PATHETIC. read more
