John had to replace portions of the top as well as the saddle. The finish was completely trashed but he did a great job cleaning and buffing out the water spots. The intonation is much better than it was before the flood damage. I could not be happier with the results! Since then John has repaired several other instruments, including a pre- WW 2 Hawaiian electric lap slide guitar. He also re-haired my violin bow. Another benefit is the fact that the program draws kids from all over the area and our daughter has made a ton of friends who don't go to her school (she calls them her "theater friends").
