I hung around and checked until it was the rate I wanted, then bought the currency. I was checking daily. They go by the website (which was better) and not what's on the board. AND they accept debit! They charge a $5 fee and compared to the actual exchange rate of 0.80 it was 0.7636. I didn't compare to my bank so it's probably the difference of a few dollars but it didn't require much work. For such a small amount I'm not missing the extra $3-$5 or so but if you have more then it probably adds up. I called prior to make sure someone was available and he was very helpful on the phone and in person. Super easy to get to, it's right outside Macy's on the second level so you can either park and walk through the store or there is a side regular mall entrance directly to the side of his kiosk. Seven days ago I was told a check for $600 (on a $2500 claim) was in the mail. We will see. NEVER EVER will I use this company. I did check my credit card and it has all of the same benefits of TravelEx with no additional cost, fewer restrictions and I would hope a more pleasant experience. My wife and I had planned to travel to Greece in April 2020 and to England in June 2020. Due to…read morethe COVID 19 pandemic both trips were cancelled and fees and deposits were refunded. I had purchased travel insurance for the trip to Greece from Travelex and I had purchased travel insurance for the trip to England from Seven Corners. When I notified Travelex of the trip cancellation, the company immediately cancelled the policy and refunded the premium. When I notified Seven Corners of the trip cancellation, they refused to refund any of the premium. My wife and I travel frequently and I had purchased travel insurance from Seven Corners in the past, although I have never had a claim with them. I suspect any claim filed with Seven Corners would be very difficult to collect. I will not insure another trip with Seven Corners, and I recommend that other travelers do the same.
