I am rating you zero. I have sent 2 boxes one from May 2017 and one August 2017 until now. My brother still not recieve these boxes. These were Christmas presents for the kids with toys and school supplies. When you try to call there's no answer. I recieve a text 5 months ago stating the boxes are in Manila. But till now still has not arrive in Bacolod Negros. I have never been so disappointed with this company. Their customer services is a joke. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MAC GALDO or CLARICE GALDO- or anyone related to their team. The services they say they will provide will not be delivered as experienced by many of their customers. As a matter of fact, until now their customers were left to their own devices to retrieve their balikbayan boxes they sent more than 2 years ago which the Galdo's shipped to the Phillipines BUT DID NOT PAY all corresponding dues, fees etc. In short the boxes are now in limbo somewhere in the Philippines. We've been with this shipping company for the past years and even helped them to get more customers throughout NC. Apparently, something happened on their end and failed to ship my boxes last June 2017. Until now, the receiving end still waiting for it. We heard through friends that the company is going out of business and will not deliver the boxes. According to what we were told the boxes are being stored in Customers in the Philippines. Please do not use Continental Freight for your balikbayan boxes. You will be sorely disappointed. Customer service is non-existent. Of the 5 phone numbers that I have for Continental Freight, you will only be able to get 2 to work. If you can leave a message, it will go unanswered. One of the voice mailboxes is full, so you will not be able to leave a message on that one. If I could leave 0 (zero) stars, I would. One star is being more than generous. I think that the worst part about the situation is that one of the voice messages on a phone number says for you to "have a blessed day" as if to imply that the person/company is/are Christians. Wish that people would not do that. Makes all Christians look bad. Just like when a car sporting a Jesus fish cuts you off in traffic. read more

I will never ever send anything with this company again. I sent five boxes this year. It was picked up on first week of June of this year (2017). I was amazed with the cheap promo, $65.00 per box why not right? Two of my boxes supposed to be going to Ilocos Sur, and the last three is going to Tarlac. They gave me a box confirmation # they said it will be a long turn around which will most likely arrive in the Philippines in the next two months. I called them on Sept. 25 2017 and after attempting like 10 calls they finally picked the phone up. I was promised that the boxes will arrived the first week of October in Manila and I was advice that I should call my family back home to let them know about the good news. It was then the Third week of October and my family has not receive any boxes nor a at least a call from them yet. I called them every chance I have after Oct. 15, 2017. Most of the time no one will pick up the phone until I started blasting their phone for 4 hours. The same Lady I spoke with since the day one were the same lady whom I spoke with. Her dialogue is the same and I became irate of course. She was very consistent with the same spill "Sorry Ma'am about the delay, The manila branch only informed us about the ETA", "I apologize for the delay, I will call the Branch manager to verify" , "If you want you can email them directly........" etc.... I wanted to trace my box myself so I researched and try to locate my boxes. I couldn't trace it from their website because it is not working. When I called them again to inquire they just gave a 4 confirmation number and I told her that I have 5 total boxes. She has to hang the phone and "verified" it. When she called me back she said it went to a different container! I started getting mad because she sounded like my box were no where to be found. I asked her about the company they are using back in the Philippines and they said they do not have that information. They were only given a email address. I emailed them numerous times and I never have a reply from them. I called again on Friday 11/10/17 No one answered, same on Monday 11/13/17 and Tuesday 11/14/17 morning and no luck. Around 2pm of 11/14/17 I spoke with the same lady and she said the same thing. My box in on its way and they can't provide any further information. It's been total of five months since they picked up my boxes. Why can't they provide me a valid answer? I am getting frustrated! I think I got scammed with this company! My next step is to seek for a legal advice and action! along with the person who picked my box! read more

My sister sent 1 box last Feb 2 and another one on March 9. Until now the boxes haven't arrived. As per verification from their website, the boxes arrived in RP April 27 and have not been delivered until now. I am also wondering why the boxes arrived on the same date when they were transacted separately. They have been telling my sister that they would be delivered this or that week but unfortunately no box arrived. There is never a day that our house is unmanned. It is so frustrating. Today is July 18, it just arrived in Cagayan Port; 7 more days with Customs, then 10-20 days more after that for delivery The delivery estimates on your invoice form are so inaccurate. I haven't given much taught about sending balikbayan boxes to the Philippines. When it came that time I asked around from friends of mine about who they used as their balikbayan boxes to. They told me about Continental but I also heard a lot about LBC in the ads on TV. So I went with the bigger company LBC and inquired with their local agents. Let's just say they are too confusing to talk to when I asked questions. I would think for them being in this business they would know specifics but I guess not. I talked to two different LBC agents here and they are not too far apart from each other and their prices differs. Hmmm makes me suspicious. Why would they give me two different prices if it is just going to the same destination in the Philippines? A friend then convinced to try Continental. She said they have a flat rate service sent anywhere in the Philippines and if I dropped it off at their warehouse I can even save more. So I did. I was surprised with their service. They contacted me days later to let me know my box was on its way to the Philippines and gave me an ETA. Forty five days later I was surprised again to get a call that my box had arrive in the Philippines. Wow! Then next they contacted my Father the receiver to let him know the scheduled delivery. My father was happy when he got the box on his birthday. Great timing! Let's just say my first experience to send a Balikbayan box to the Philippines was a great one. I hear things from friends about why it's taking so long for their box to arrive or saw on Facebook boxes being tampered. Well not with Continental let's just say they got their act together. I've been sending my box since 2012 . I've been happy with their service they notify me after the vessel has left and when it arrives in the Philippines. They also follow up after my package has been delivered to insure that everything is ok. Continental is a class of its own no other Balikbayan Box shipping company has ever provided an A1 service like they do. read more

Sent my box last March 2017 and it has not arrived until now yet. Its already running 7 months. Some of the goods i sent for my elderly mother, which she had requested might be bad now. Continental sent me a $40 worth of coupon to be use next time i ship with them. Should i use those for them to keep my goods until it turn bad before it gets to my family? hell, no! they rather keep it themselves. I tried to ask for a contact number of their Philippine Shipment counterpart, so my family could get a hold of them and check the box, but the lady said they dont know their numbers! they can't even give me the exact address as well! how is that possible?what a heck. that's a clear foolishness.
