Lindsay was extremely responsive, knowledgeable about the process, and handled all the logistics flawlessly. It was incredibly helpful to use her preferred network of mortgage brokers and title agents who worked together seamlessly and ensured I always had everything completed on time. Anytime I had a question or an issue came up, Lindsey dove in and tackled it! She even sent a great list of helpful tips the day I moved in, and some great places to visit in my new neighborhood. By the end she felt like a friend and I would recommend her without any hesitation to all my friends and family! Thank you Lindsay, I love my new home!

    I lived here 9 years and it was horrible every step of the way. This place is infested with…read moremultiple species of cockroaches, there's mold everywhere, they do not clean the stairwells literally ever, and there's a water leak somewhere almost constantly, resulting in weekly water shut offs. The building manager is barely there, so ann old bigoted woman who cannot help you in anyway with anything is the point of contact most days, and the owners are beyond rude. The apartments come dirty, and then they charge you for it when you leave, even if you live there 9 years and leave it spotless. The pool burns your skin because the idiots don't know how to take care of it. The parking lot will give you a flat tire. The elevators break down monthly and it took them a year to fix the one. The list goes on. It's a terrible place to live and you should absolutely never consider this shit hole.

We have a fabulous view. The apartment has lots of natural light and closet space! The whole complex is super clean, renovated and up to date! There is a great gym with a huge selection of fitness equipment. I can't wait till summer to tan by the pool. The best part is the location. I can walk to Whole Foods and do all my grocery shopping! Lakewood is filled with cute fun bars! Living at 1 OAK has made me love Cleveland. I HIGHLY recommend this building. Management also let me know they are installing a Starbucks machine in the lobby!!!

    CPM is the worst rental company I've endured (and I survived 444 park, if you know, you know)…read more They hire inexperienced maintenance workers and their communication is beyond poor. They have no clear channel of communication. I received texts and calls from various workers over the 3 years, it was never streamlined and hard to trust what is real from a scam. They left me without a lock on my door (inside the unit, but exposed to downstairs unit) for over a month, and allowed someone to move into the lower unit without letting me know/putting a lock on my door first. They randomly put a storm door on one day, gave a key to the basement unit, and didn't say anything to me about it. She informed me I could pay to copy hers. Mind you, the lower level tenant was not even given a key to this back door at move in, she copied mine. She was only given a front door key. So this made no sense. They are currently charging me $375 from my security deposit for window screens that never existed, plus a bunch of other bogus fees for routine turn over. If you proceed with renting a unit under them, please be meticulous in your property condition form. Get on your hands and knees and mark everything that is wrong with the unit (there's probably A LOT). I would also recommend keeping a running list of all maintenance requests, and communications from them. They are slimy and not to be trusted. Additionally, they waited until the morning of my move out to send me any instructions or information. I had already locked my keys inside, and turned off the gas and electric after not hearing from them for 2 weeks. When I sent an email that I did that, only an hour later did I receive an email saying "leave gas and electric on and return keys to leasing office to complete your move." It has been a terrible experience. They also just stopped returning emails regarding my security deposit. Please do yourself a favor and find another company to rent from. Home owners- you'd probably be better off with another company as well. They are doing a disservice to you as well.

At 39, I've rented for my…read moreentire adult life (ACROSS THE COUNTRY), and hands down, they're the best company I've ever rented from. I moved from out of state--at the VERY last minute--and the process was as seamless as could be. And I'll tell you, my apartment was WAYYYY nicer than the pictures Kim sent me (she's amazing), and bigger than I thought. For as many times as I've toured properties and been picky, I really, REALLY lucked out here. It made me think I should always leave my choice until the last minute. I've lived here for 3 years and I'm beyond sad to say goodbye. I'm moving out-of-state for a new job, but if I was staying in town, I'd want to stay with them. Maintenance is top-notch, too!! Not only do they respond 24/7 and keep communication going, but they make sub-contract work happen IMMEDIATELY. The times that I had an issue, no matter the size, someone responded damn near instantly, and for the times there was a bigger issue, solutions to those problems were implemented before I even appreciated it. Their plumber is so great, he's apprenticing someone and my half-awake self listened to him explaining the history behind a certain piece (while not wasting time working). That's so cool. You could never go wrong renting from Winwood Properties. To put it another way, will you be treated as though you're valued and important by every employee of Winwood Properties?? The answer is 100% yes. When you're looking in the CLE/Edgewater/Lakewood/Cudell area, look no further. (I'm not even getting paid for this. Ofelia, Kim, and Mike are just that awesome. Trust me on this, and thank me later.)
