Foremost, Alberto and his partner were perhaps the kindest gentleman I spoke with regarding this project. I had a beautiful mahogany Ethan Allen table that had gotten very beat up in four moves and two storage units. But that is why quality furniture is better than cheap disposable furniture...It can always be fixed and Alberto did just that! He did an extraordinary job AND he is humble soft spoken and genuinely kind. I am disabled and on a fixed income and we negotiated a VERY fair price for white glove pick up, restoration and delivery. A bit of a late review from my service but I wanted to leave my review regardless since some reviews aren't overly recent! Alberto was wonderful to work with! I acquired some old family dining chairs and knew I needed to reupholster them as they are older then I can imagine. I looked around for quotes and he offered me the most reasonable but also the quickest turn around time! I was in a bit of a rush due to an impending move but he worked with me and once I picked a fabric and dropped off the chairs he had everything ready to go in just about 2 weeks! They were also pretty wobbly and he even reinforced them for me. I fully intended to pick it up but he was going to be driving past my home and instead of me waiting to pick it up after his delivery he dropped it off right to my door step. Alberto repaired and put new upholstery on my two Victorian chairs. They both look beautiful. It took long but it was worth the wait. I wasn't able to find anyone else who could take on the repairs just after Thanksgiving. I told him I didn't need them by Christmas so that is also why it took so long, I got them in February. I plan to take three more chair to him as soon as I save up some money. It cost under $2000.00 including the fabric (I picked the most expensive one, that raised the price). Alberto is very professional and prompt in his response. He came to my home to offer an estimate and he took my antique chair with him to repair the two back legs at his workshop. He wrapped my chair in a blanket to protect it during transport and he said it will take a few days for the repairs. Then he will deliver it back to my home once completed. He made this repair process so easy and he charged a very fair price. He accepted 1/2 of my payment via Zelle (and he offers a variety of other payment options), and the other 1/2 will be due once he delivers my repaired chair. I can't wait to see my chair! I had a leather sofa that was in excellent condition but the seat cushions needed new foam, however the cushions were attached. After searching the Internet I found Conteras's Upholstery. They picked the sofa up right away and a week later I was sitting on my sofa! They did an outstanding job, you would never know they had to strip it down to replace the foam.
