I am writing this review to warn others about the problems that I have had with Nathan…read morePreisendorfer and 7th Gen. Solar If you don't have time to read my full review, then know this. I have a huge piece of property with plenty of open fields bathed in sunlight, yet somehow 7th Gen. managed to put my "22KW" ground mount system in the shade, when I questioned the owner, Nathan Preisendorfer about this he attempted to blame that mistake on me. In addition, the two arrays are too close together causing the one in front to throw its shadow on the one in the back further compromising its production. I did everything I could to resolve this issue with him, but he refused to deal with it in good faith. As a result, I had to hire both an attorney to represent me as well as an independent solar specialist to do a complete assessment of my system. The solar specialist uncovered several mistakes with this system as well as work that was done outside of industry standards. To assist in his assessment, I turned over several documents from 7th Gen. for review. One of the first things that he pointed out is that my original proposal contained a ROI/ROR spreadsheet that showed how long it would take to pay the system off. This ROI/ROR is a key piece of information that assists the purchaser in deciding if the system makes financial sense. It tells the purchaser how much electricity the system will produce over its lifetime so that you can compare it against current electricity rates and determine how long it will take to pay the system off. This ROI/ROR that was given by 7th Gen lists my proposed system at 22,600 KW. The solar specialists that I hired immediately saw that the system was only 18,720 KW, a difference of 3,900 KW. That is a huge difference in production and looking at those numbers I would not have gone forward with this system. To date, I have not been given an adequate explanation for this discrepancy. To summarize this shortened section of the review, my system has been compromised because it was placed in a shaded area, it was further compromised because the two arrays were placed too close together and to add to all of this, I was told by 7th Gen. that my proposed system was 22,600 KW when it was only 18,720 KW Lastly, I have had to hire an attorney to represent me in this matter and am now looking at an expensive and protracted legal battle to rectify this situation, and that is in addition to the cost incurred from hiring the independent solar specialist. That is the gist of my situation, if you want further details, please continue to read this review. My contact information is listed at the bottom if you wish to contact me. **Unfortunately I was unable to include the full review due to space constraints** I stand by everything I wrote and will swear to it all under oath. If you have any questions, want to discuss this further, want to know the name of my new Solar provider, want to see the report he did for me on the work that 7th Gen. did, have a story of your own you want to share, want to consider a class action lawsuit, know the contact information of the electrician who laid out my system or so forth please feel free to contact me at 603-562-9792 or jyann0111@yahoo.com John Yannacci.

After reading this article…read more(https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/ive-been-totally-ghosted-after-install-solar-panels-become-maintenance-nightmare ) I felt I had to write this review. As the article highlights, many consumers are having a problem getting repair support for their installed solar systems. I had a significant problem with my solar system a couple months ago. One of my two inverters had to be replaced. Seventh Generation Solar responded quickly and evaluated the problem. System was repaired successfully. Even though they had other on-going solar projects, I felt they were listening and treated my solar problem with priority. They had my back. This is what separates the good companies from the bad. Use Seventh Generation Solar --- You won't be sorry. Mike in Hebron
