Then they ran diagnostic tests that revealed RAM faults, requiring a new motherboard. In a few days, the new motherboard arrived, and now the computer is back home and working perfectly. This is the same sort of experience I've had before with the Computer Technology Center, so I was not surprised. Their office is open--they don't take your machine to another room. They'll do the diagnosis right in front of you. If the repair is simple, they'll make the repair while you watch. This openness gives one great confidence in their work. The price for the work was very reasonable. I hope I don't have another computer failure soon, but when I do, there's no question where I will go.
