So when we needed new roofing, siding, gutters, gutter covers, facia and soffits I obtained several quotes. Erik didn't hesitate to come out to Farmington and quote the project. We had some "slick" salespeople and we had a guy that wouldn't give me a quote (he really didn't like women was my opinion) and would only deal with the insurance company. Erik was professional, honest and not "slick." The price was fair. My test is always the "warm and fuzzies." After a few meetings with Erik, he had my business. Then came the problems. Every color combo for all of the above items had items out of stock, discontinued or something. Erik made a lot of phone calls and several vendor trips. I have no idea how many combos we went through - probably 15 or so. Finally we found a combo that could be put together. YEAH!!!! Erik was patient through all of the "I hate neutrals" moments and several trips of holding colors against the house in different light. Roof install went well and then we had to wait 2 weeks for the siding. The siding installation was completed and they came back and fixed a couple of small items and we were done before Thanksgiving. Erik was around almost daily and even picked up extra FOD on his own. They installed our new lights and Ring cams too. Erik was easily reachable and kept on top of the project and kept me up to date. Very impressed. They were within $7 of the original quote (I think permit fees changed). Very happy and thankful that I selected Erik and Roofs R Us.

Mathew Meschke, came to my home and asked I he could inspect my roof for hail damage because a very…read moresevere storm had been in this area a few months earlier and several of my neighbors had needed to file insurance claims to get their roofs repaired. I didn't think that I had any roof damage, and I wasn't interested but Mathew was so professional, knowledgeable, patient and kind that I finally agreed that he and I would go up on my roof and inspect it together. Once we were on the roof Mathew showed me that my roof did in fact have hail damage and that his company Meschke Construction, would help me with my insurance claim and all the necessary repairs. I asked many questions because I had never filed an insurance claim for a major repair to my home and I had heard horror stories of companies taking advantage of customers. But every concern I brought up Mathew addressed and put me at ease. So, I signed an agreement with Meschke Construction (that I could back out of in the first three days if I changed my mind) and Mathew assured me that if the insurance company did not honor my claim that I did not have to honor this contract or move forward with these repairs at this time and this contract with Meschke Construction for my homes hail damage repair would be voided. Then Mathew helped me schedule an appointment with my Farmers insurance adjuster and when the adjuster came to my home Mathew was with me and the adjuster and the adjuster did in fact find hail damage and wrote up a claim for my roof to be repaired. Mathew then introduced me to the other people at Meschke Construction who would be responsible for the various processes to get my claim repairs completed, for example he introduced me to Jason who would be a liaison, between me, Meschke Construction, and Farmers Insurance, Jake and Greg who oversaw the crew scheduling and Luke who was the general manager. The whole team at Meschke Construction including Brandon, Katie and even Michael, who oversees estimates, helped me through the process on getting my repairs done by keeping me informed, following through and addressing weather issues insurance glitches when they arose while still working to ensure that my repairs were completed at the highest quality. Now to date all the repairs to my home have been completed and the insurance claim paid, for several months now, and I couldn't be happier.

They subcontracted out to Kolbe windows which were subpar. The quality of the windows and hardware are terrible, worse than our original windows. After less than a year we had multiple cracks and their customer service was basically non existent trying to get them to rectify the situation. I wish we had saved our $60,000 and kept our original windows or at least shopped around on our own to find a quality window company.
