I had my little sister had passed away and I was in between jobs and had no insurance so she put me on a medication for anxiety and it reacted with my other pain medication and would cause me to fall asleep so my mom wrote a letter to them telling them to adjust my medication. This had been done, but because I was pulled off of it abruptly I was having some lightheadedness just for maybe a week so Nawar suggested that I get a sleep study once I found out how expensive they were without scheduled an appointment to go visit with her because I did not have the money to pay for a sleep study. I do not know what she told Dr. Amayem but I was kicked out of the clinic immediately without any medication or anything. This was completely unfair to me because the medication that I had been on for seven years worked perfectly. It was the medication she put me on that caused the problem and I wanted to come back and see him again, but I cannot get his staff to return my calls and I did get a referral to him. Is it that hard to get a hold of him? I mean, I feel like I still deserve to be hurt even though it's been 11 years since I went there I still feel like I deserve to be able what situation was because it was not the medication he was prescribing. It was the medication she put me on and I'd already been taken off of it so I don't know what to do. I'm hoping that he will read this review or somebody in his office and at least return my call because my primary care physician did refer me to him and normally I would've said no I can't go back there but because I don't feel like what happened was even fair. He did not let me explain nothing so I don't told him, but it was not fair because I should never have been kicked out of that clinic to begin with ever. And if I didn't think he was a good doctor and think very highly of him, I wouldn't be wanting to even think about coming back in there, but I want to talk to him. Dr is verbally abusive. As a disabled veteran I came here referred from the VA. The Dr saw me 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment and became unprofessional and verbally abusive when he asked me how I was doing and I said I've been better. He pried at my response so I told him I wasn't expecting to see him 45 minutes past my appointment time. He responded that there's a lot of paperwork to complete. I responded that I arrived at 0930, 30 minutes early to my appointment in order to complete the paperwork. He said I could have arrived at 6 am and it wouldn't matter and that who's supposed to fill out the paperwork, the holy ghost? He then told me he has nothing for me and the appointment was over. He never treated me. Then he tried to make me leave the facility without getting a print out from the front desk to prove I came to the appointment. The receptionist refused and stated that "it would be faxed" and the Dr came to the waiting room 2 more times while I was on the phone with the VA to tell me to get out and yell at me. Absolutely abhorrent behavior.

Dr. Kelly has been treating my wife for a few years now with a mystery condition that has felt like…read morean episode of House. Over the last year she has been on a real downhill slide medically. He has been the rock to keep her going. Her other doctors care, so I don't want to downplay that, but are so busy they just honestly don't have the time for all the issues and day-to-day changes. Despite her high-needs Dr. Kelly has never left her to suffer and always pivots and adjusts medications to meet her needs. Most importantly he has never treated her like an inconvenience. His office staff is just as caring and Heather specifically has gone out of her way to help her.

At first he okay with her A1C for surgery and sent her to see a cardiologist to see if her heart was good. Her heart was in great condition and they said she was okay for surgery. Shortly after that my wife watched a webcast about robotic back surgery and thought she would get a second opinion before the other surgery was scheduled. When we had records forwarded to the other doctor Parkinson got a little huffy and dropped my wife. Told her she had to have her A1C in the 6's, now that is practically impossible for someone who has been a Type one for 50 years. I was really surprised how lax Parkinson office was when it came to Covid 19. Not everyone was wearing a mask and his assistant didn't introduce himself. We didn't know who he was. He wasn't wearing a mask and Parkinson came in with his mask down on his face. Very poor in these times, because he just laughed the usage of masks for the virus. We just though this was so strange for a medical doctor to act this way because of our medical back grounds. I would never recommend going to Parkinson because of his lax way fo looking at medical issues and his arrogant attitude. Find a good doctor who is not so touchy and works with you, if he was really good doctor he wouldn't be offended when a person who wants a second option. Not once has she or her nurse and staff failed to take care of each one of us and addressed each concern we've had, gotten us referrals as necessary, and made sure we had what we needed, even if it's natural remedies vs. medications. We're very grateful for her excellent care. She thoughtfully listens to each question and concern and actually discusses things thoroughly instead of simply having the attitude of, "I'm the doc, you're the patient, you do what I say," kind of attitude.
