As soon as we walk in, who I am assuming is the receptionist, is standing in the lobby and whips around and looks completely confused as to why we are there. I then asked if they were still open, and she goes to say "well yeah, until 7:30, have we seen you before?" I go "well if it's too late we can go somewhere else, but no you haven't seen us before" she goes on to walk into the back behind the counter obviously annoyed and slamming the door behind her. I then brought up once again if we need to go somewhere else we would. She then goes "well it's just like, I have an hour drive home" as if that is supposed to be my problem? If you cannot have any sympathy for someone who is not feeling well, don't work in healthcare. We happily went somewhere else, and they have taken great care of my boyfriend. I will never come back here. So sad to see how many bad apples are in the healthcare field nowadays.....

When speaking to the secretary she stated that a bill had been sent each month for the past 6 months and I had been contacted by phone as well. It's hard to believe that 6 or 7 bills were lost in the mail when they had the correct address on file and that my voicemail never captured any messages from them. If honesty in billing is important to you then take your business elsewhere.

I had 2 C-sections (2015 & 2018), was married, and had a family history of diabetes from my father side. I also had a mid-late aged man's drivers license in my chart. I know this because the initial MA I saw physically moved her laptop to face me, so I could see this as she thought it was "funny". 2 other MA's would also come in and out over the course of getting my vitals, manually entering my actual medical history and dismissing me from the appt. It was by far the strangest appointment I've ever had of any kind. As a health center manager, I was quite shocked at what I experienced. If you're looking for quality in the management of your health, I'd keep looking elsewhere.

Due to covid spikes a lot of urgent cares are packed with patients so I took my luck and showed up. I probably waited less than 10 mins to go to the back and be seen. The male doctor was very friendly kind and got me in and out and medicine on the way to the pharmacy. If you're an out of pocket patient this is an affordable place. I've gone to other urgent cares and paid close to 200 for visits like today. This was very affordable and reasonable. Will be coming back for any of mine or family needs!

I…read moream one of Dr. Nelson's patients, and I can say that she absolutely allows you to do your own research and is very responsive to your insight IF you know what you're talking about AND you're not drug seeking. If you have a diagnosis that is legitimate and you have researched well, she will definitely listen to your insight. For example, I have anxiety and high blood pressure. I researched the various drugs that were available for high blood pressure and asked her if I could try a beta blocker before we tried an ace inhibitor since it is also prescribed for anxiety in some cases. Firstly, she complemented me for being informed, secondly she agreed that a beta blocker was worth trying and prescribed it even though she was initially leaning toward an ace inhibitor. A few months later, what do you know, the beta blocker wasn't doing the job and we went back to her initial plan of taking an ace inhibitor. I've also seen Dr. Legako; he's a bit stuffy, but is also very open to patients' opinions. Moreover, the nurses and front desk are all super nice and always willing to do what it takes to help you out. Another example, I was near Edmond just the other day and stopped in to see if I could get into my appointment early since I was already in town; I was in a examination room within 15 minutes. Don't write this place off. This is probably one of the best places in the OKC area to be treated.

At check in, the front office staff were very professional and efficient. When the nurse took us back, she put us in a surgery waiting room and two hours later-still waiting and never checked on, we hear others, that came in after us-being checked on, the anesthesiologist and doctors discussing the procedures with them and taking them back. They were so over booked, but yet the others waiting were all being checked on, while we were forgotten about. Our daughter is 6, she has had tubes in her ears and a T&A and we were never treated that way. We ended up leaving. We did not trust our child's care, to medical professionals who left us in a room for two hours, did not check on us and saw every other person who had checked in after we did. I do not recommend their facility, not for a child and especially not for any special needs child.
