I picked up the cake, took it home and started to cut pieces of cake for the family. That cake was SO dry that when I went to put a piece of cake on a plate the frosting just fell off away from the cake. There was a space between the cake and the frosting. It didn't stick to the cake. The cake looked dry and the first bite could have choked a horse! It was terrible! What a waste of money. I called and told them only to get just an " I'm sorry". They said that they put their cakes in the freezer before delivery and that's probably is what caused the problem. $30 down the drain. The only good thing is that it was decorated nicely. I never went back again

When I was in the Cooke Marketplace for a rare pandemic outing, I was thrilled when I stumble upon their shop! When I think of Bake Erie, I of course think of their colorful Ohio cookies with delicious frosting. If you catch them during the day you'll see a bigger selection, but I was there near close so cookies were all that was left (but don't worry, we still bought). The inside has a clean, white feel to it that every teenager will love taking photos in. There's a few tables to sit and relax or you could take your bakery to-go while strolling the Marketplace.
