These people don't actually build anything so conveniently aren't "responsible" for any issues. Its basically a middle man scam. They get a "commission" of each building and run with it. Meanwhile you're then sent to deal with the manufacturer directly. So, for the real builder of the shop, "Star Buildings and Metal Carports", Wow, what a joke of a company. Where do I start....?? The entire process was a complete mess. The supposed "Manager" lady has no clue what she is doing, nor does she communicate with her field guys (undocumented Mexicans who speak little to no English). These people come out and throw up a garbage building that moves, creaks, leaks water from all sides and every window, with roll-up doors that are so far out of adjustment its practically impossible to open and close them. original installer broke his arm adjusting one of the doors using the wrong tool for the job and the guys these people sent to finish had no clue what they were doing. These people don't care about you, just your money. Reported issues FIVE months ago and have been "scheduled" (so she says) to have repair crew out to address the issues while taking time off work to meet them, but now 5 times later they no show/no call and its always the same excuse... "we don't know what happened, the installers ran into an issue on their job". I'm not only out the money in hourly wage loss, but I got taken for almost $70k for the building. I absolutely will be contacting a team of lawyers to get my money back. Don't ever use these people!!!!!!!! And the installers tagged graffiti on my roof!!! Any carport or building over 31' will have two panels seamed. This does have the possibility of leaking in the future. Also as explained on sections of the website, the ridges of the steel panels in a horizontal roof run parallel to the sides and ridge of the carport or garage. Water, snow, etc., will drain to the front and back of the building, towards the door openings. If the building is perfectly level, water will ten to pond on a horizontally installed roof. On a vertical roof, the ridges of the steel panels run from the top of the carport or garage to the sides. This roof configuration displaces water, snow, etc., much more efficiently, and water will not pond on the roof. You receive a 20 Year Limited Rust Thru Warranty On All Lengths Of Vertical Roof Style Metal Carports & Metal Buildings, but on Horizontal Roofs Only Up To 31' long are covered under the warranty. What materials are used to make the structures? The majority of components utilized in our frames are made of 2 1/4" by 2 1/4" galvanized steel tubing for 12 gauge buildings and 2 1/2" by 2 1/2" for 14 gauge buildings. I started my building process in Feb/ March of 25, must have researched every building company…read morewithin 500 miles of my location. I decided on Red Rover for several reasons. They had excellent reviews, their web site was well done and easy to use and portrayed the company as one of the best. My salesman was easy to talk with, understood what I was saying and was able to lay out my building exactly as I wanted. Then came the installation day. Things went to absolute $# it from that day until Just a few days ago when they finally replaced the crooked roof metal on my building. On the day of install I had taken time off to be there as I had been saving for 2 years for this building. The crew...lol boy let me tell you...there were two. Only one had any experience, the other, honest to god could not read a tape measure...which is why I had a crooked roof I might add. These guys drove all the way from Texas and didn't even have the metal to put on the roof. So they put up the walls and packed up and left. Didn't say crap other than we will go get the metal. I'm literally standing there with no idea what the heck was happening. I make contact with the company and they tell me they will source the metal from my area and the crew will come back another time to install it. A week later the crew comes late inthe day on their way back from another state putting up building to finish mine they worked in the dark with head lamps....another reason I had a crooked roof...until midnight. Of course I didn't see the effective and dare I say piss poor workmanship of the job until the next day. It was bad...I meen bad. The roof, the brackets that support the doors were not correct crooked screw lines, and roof building end caps we so poorly installed that you could see inside the building thru the gaps in the eave corners. Oh but it gets even better dear reader....the grand mack daddy of them all....one of my roof trusses welds was cracked all the way thru. I call the company, I send pics...they agree this needs fixed...little did I know it wouldn't be immediately, but " when they had a crew in the area." A really nice guy drove up from Texas and rewelded the truss...I good with it and he looks at all the before mentioned issues. The front side roof would have to be removed and fixed with some new materials. We are into April by this time folks...so again I wait. They wanted to send the original crew back for the repairs...im like "hell no" so another crew came and fixed the end caps and the doors but again no roof metal. Keep in mind they fixed the end caps only to take them off to put the new metal roof on. We are into late may of 25 by this point and just to be honest I really just wanted these folks and this company out of my life at this point and didn't really give a d@mn what happened. There are more things I could go into about this such as metal trim scratched all to heck...crooked screw lines on the walls..but one other thing I want you good folks to know is this....the day after the crew finished the initial install, before I even had a roof on the building these folks had the audacity to send me my bill. This is even before the addressed any of the issues I told you about. When they put the first roof on I paid them the next day ....in full. I wish I had not. I'm not going to tell you not to use this company...Thats your choice. I'll tell you this.. Lord as my witness and on my oath as a soldier...this was my experience. Don't let it happen to you. They are simply a third-party company that acts as a "go-between" for the customer and the actual building supplier. If you want to save time, money, and avoid a headache, let me help you out here... The building supplier responsible for the actual building itself name is: Stallion Metal Steel Buildings. Their phone number is: (936) 715-7158 The name of the concrete company they use is: Crush It Concrete . Their phone number is: (409) 527-4677 I would highly recommend using both of these companies that are actually involved with the building process for your building project and skipping this poor excuse for a third party middle man. If you do by chance feel like throwing away your money by using this company get prepared for: Inaccuracies on your order No returns on your phone call (they literally dodged us to the point where we had to call the Louisiana number just to get ahold of the same guy) Weeks of no responses from emails And your building to cost about 25% more than if you just call the actual companies yourself (we spent about $9,500 more) It took us about a year to actually get the building ordered and delivered because of Red Rover's lack of urgency, and poor management. Once you put your down payment down, they magically "disappear from the office", "have system issues", and "currently undergo a lot of changes". Seriously... avoid Red Rover at all costs. This was originally supposed to be a Google review. However, since the time we started the building process till the time it was finished, they no longer have a Google account. I know that there were multiple poor reviews on their Google account and I imagine that's why they took it down. That in itself should tell you something.
