The job was scheduled for two weeks later, and the Project Manager kept me updated. The old fence removal and new fence install took only 2 1/2 days. The foreman, Fernando, was absolutely outstanding at keeping me informed of progress, and checking with me for decisions when it came to design choices. The entire crew was professional, courteous, and very diligent. Each day the job site was left clean, with all lumber stored neatly and out of the way. This company is too savvy for what they offer. They are trying way too hard and their process and branding ultimately makes it more expensive for the consumer. I found scheduling to be easy I did that all via text. I am VERY busy with kids, pets, a full time job AND we had just moved OUT of the house we needed fencing for. I explained to the woman on the phone when she rescheduled me, as they had an incorrect phone # for me intially, so I never got notified the tech was coming. My BIG issue was that I said REPEATEDLY that we did not live at the house anymore and it was empty. They said I HAD to be there for the estimate. This was a total waste of my time, as it did NOT need to be done in person. AND it was over 45 minutes to provide an estimate on ONE fence panel. ONE!! The "technician" was very nice but I stood in my former backyard, during the "extreme heat" we had on June 15th and waited over10 minutes before I called them and said I SEE your fencing truck where the heck is the guy?? He said he had rang my doorbell and knocked on the door but I didn't answer. I said no kidding I don't live here. Then he took measurements. He took pictures and said he'd be "right back" as he needed to "run the numbers." So I thought this would be quick. NO. After over 10 minutes I finally went to my car and turned it on to wait on him. Then he wanted to go BACK into the yard again. I was getting frustrated at this point. I did NOT need to be present for this. I felt like my time was wasted and I also felt like NO consideration was given to the fact that it was over 90 degrees...close to 100, when he left me standing outside waiting on a quote that was DOUBLE the company we hired. I had my dogs with me and they were both panting so I wanted to make sure they were in the car with AC. After he went back into the yard for a third time, I pulled my car into the shade to help it cool down more. Then he gave me twenty questions on who quoted me less! And made me pull up their website for him while he talked on the phone. Super unprofessional. Super WEIRD. They are nice people but change your business model. Be FAST. Be efficient. Stop wasting people's time trying to be different and show up and do the work. This isn't a "sale" it's a need for people. People don't need an elongated process with back and forth. They NEED repairs done. Respect people's time. As they say time is money. And you wasted mine. read more

Once the crew arrived they went to work quickly removing the old fence and building the new. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work done. The fence is well built and beautiful. The crew was efficient and hard working. The only issue we have is we were told a date and time the crew would arrive. We received a text that morning telling us they would arrive between 8 and 10 in the morning. They did not come and we heard nothing from anyone. The next day we heard nothing. After I called and left a message that expressed my frustration we finally got a returned call. We were told that there was a problem with the supplies not being delivered on time. I understand things happen. What I don't understand is the lack of communication. I will again say we are pleased with the fence. In fact we have recommended the company to our neighbors. read more

A very polite and courteous gentleman showed up to give me a bid on a fence we need replaced. His measurement was over twenty feet off, but he gave us a bid prior to leaving. I thought it was high, but he was my first bid. We told him we have a few other bids set up. After hearing that he said he could drop the price about $1,500 if he could get the bid today. Reminded me of a time share presentation. was told they match bids, which was mentioned the first time. I can't comment on quality or value, because we didn't accept their bid. We got a couple bids that came in $3,000 less. You will be pressured with this company, but I would certainly recommend you to do your due diligence and get a few other bids. Very confusing business practices. I got phone calls and text messages from at least 6 different numbers. The guy who came out to look at the job was good, seemed professional. Nice material samples. Decent price for the job. They sent an estiamte in email. I did not accept it or sign it, since it's a shared fence with my neighbor we need to discuss. I told them I will get back to them once we have an answer. Next thing I know I'm scheduled and getting an invoice. Based on this initial interaction would not recommend. We were subcontracted to BWLLC who did a fantastic job, five stars. Cool Cat on the other hand, gets three stars. The original appointment was for M/6/1. I got a call wanting to move it up to S/5/23. We finally agreed on M/5/25. The job took all week, finished on Saturday. Cool Cat harassed me all week about final payment. Even after me telling them I was out of town and the job was not done, at least two phone calls, emails, and texts a day. read more

If you are considering Cool Cat Fence, I would strongly recommend getting multiple bids before signing. In my case, I was under pressure to fix a safety fence issue quickly, and I regret not shopping around more. I paid premium pricing expecting a transparent, all-in experience and a finished product consistent with what was shown during bidding. During sales, I was shown photos and bid materials depicting a shadow box fence with a top rail. Once installation was underway, I was told that the top rail was not actually included and would require an additional charge. Even after I raised the discrepancy, the proposed resolution still felt expensive relative to the actual material cost. My concern is that the sales presentation, quoted scope, and install-day pricing did not align. I accepted what was effectively a premium bid because I wanted the issue handled quickly, and I regret not slowing down and comparing other companies first. Learn from my mistake: get multiple bids and get every visible design detail confirmed in writing. read more

They are high pressure, their installation crews don't speak English and they did a terrible job installing a chain link fence; nothing was even or straight, the posts were different heights, the gates were installed incorrectly and it took almost a month to make repairs. Finished a fencing project using Cool Cat Fence last week. The project was cedar fencing for my entire backyard with two gates. The bid came in at a fair price, scheduling and quality materials. I met with Gabe Tischler in sales who was instrumental in helping me decide to go with this company rather others I had reached out to. The crew came in and worked tirelessly to finish my project in a timely fashion. They were competent, knowledgeable and very professional. very bad experience with them their salesman did not tell you that you could cancel within three days. All he said was you could make changes then when I called to ask how much it would cost to cancel. He did not tell me once again that I could cancel with no obligation instead he told me it would cost me $2600 then I did some research on the law and found out. I could cancel within three business days of then I did and the general that he told me that did not I would not use these guys as I asked for a refund in a week later called back and talk to a captain. Downton said they get back to me which she never did. Then I called back. My refund still hadn't been processed like they were gonna keep my money anyways when I made a think about it all of a sudden they credited me would not advise using these guys. read more

I would not recommend Cool Cat Fence. This is why. I stated what I wanted to the sales rep. I asked for a new 55 foot fence with galvanized posts and stain. The rep replied yes, we'll do it in the summer drier months. So my fence was completed on 4/2/26. When I asked when they could come out and stain, they replied that it's an additional cost. The sales rep never said or uttered to me that it was a separate charge. For the price I paid and stain not included, it's too expensive. Plus, I find out that the conversation between me and the sales rep was recorded without my knowledge or consent. I would not recommend Cool Cat Fence. read more

The neighbors put fence which they had to come on the neighboring property to put in the out the dirt and left an absolute mess, trampled grass and did not clean up after themselves. They also left a serrated blade on the which any child visiting someone here could have picked up and hurt themselves. This is unacceptable and after numerous discussions with them and them saying they were gonna clean it up, they have just blown it off. I have referred to several of my networking people in the real estate industry and also to realtors to not recommend this company at all. If you can't take the responsibility for cleaning up yourself then you shouldn't be in business. read more

Date arrives for installation and now installation is increased by 50%. Nothing had changed since the on site estimate. I even suggested a compromise that I consider to be fair but not to them. Job was canceled on the spot. Do they do good work? I don't know and won't ever know. Do not trust their estimates. For this reason they are not recommended.
