Instead, they lazily redirected me to their website for "troubleshooting," which I had already tried with no success. Zero support, zero accountability. This company is quick to sell but utterly useless when problems arise. The after-sales service is disgraceful and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and stay far away -- this is one of the worst service experiences I've had.

Fitter rushing job, used wrong screws and was going nuts because…read morethe screws were snapping when trying to drill the screws straight into metal instead of drilling a hole first.. He was asked to leave as was really rude to me. Manager apologised and sent a second filter out. When she took the poorly fitting pelmet and blind down, we could see he'd bent the bracket, screws were sticking out of the wall, he'd gone up both sides of my wall with his drill leaving black scuff marks and had ripped the wallpaper.. And he had left it like that, as finished, no apology for the damage done. Second fitter did a better job, and her screws didn't snap!! She asked if she could take photos of the pathetic job he'd done to show to her manager. I got huge apology but that was it,considering the damage done. I will have to paint my whole lounge now as the difference in colour will show if I only paint the sides. So phoned Hannahs blinds back and asked for the cost of some paint, as this negligence on their part... And feel this was more than fare on my part as I could have asked for more.. And I got £20.. Really big of them.. All I can do now is hope that the rips don't show. I wish I'd gone elsewhere and definitely will when I get the rest of the house done. Also wish I'd read the other bad reviews on Trust pilot first and I wouldn't have used them. My advice, avoid this firm

This requires the Tahoma switch, which they have not delivered on. I called the salesman who admitted he made a mistake, and would supply the switch. A few days later, I received a call from them.. They now want another £175 for this item, saying I did not order it at the time.. (even though Adrian admitted he made a mistake, and would supply one) BE WARY OF THIS COMPANY....

Paid nearly £700 for cheap looking, flimsy curtains! I waited nearly 2 months for these curtains…read more As you can see from the pictures they look awful and make my living room look like a slum. Here are the issues: 1. When I asked for a replacement or refund, they made me send in pictures which I did after hours of being told they couldn't open the email or the pictures. When this problem was eventually rectified (after 4 phonically speaking to 4 different people), I was told they would not offer me a replacement or a refund as I had agreed to have these curtains at the point of sale, and there was no manufacturing fault. I told them that their swatches are not reflective of their finished product, to which they just disagreed. Therefore, they basically put the blame on the customer and advisor. 2. Obstructive, blocking customer service tactics. When I asked them to put me through to a manager, they refused stating that they had spoken to a manager. I have never heard of a customer services department blocking a customer from speaking to a manager in person. 3. I told them that most other reputable companies give customers at least a few days grace to be able to return products they are not happy with, within the first few days of purchase, regardless of whether there was a manufacturing fault or not. Again, Hillarys were not interested. I am so embarrassed to have these curtains hanging in my window that I have taken them down and put the old ones up. This is disgusting treatment from a company towards a customer and I strongly advise anybody to steer well clear from Hillarys as their customer aftercare is absolutely shocking. Hillary's Blinds, don't trust them, they are sheep in wolves clothing. We moved into a new house…read moreand asked Hillary's for a quote for voiles and a rail, to go over our bifold doors. We made it clear we were not ready to purchase as we were having building work done. The sales rep/fitter came and measured up, he suggested that we purchase now as they were in a sale. He said that they would be delivered to him and he would keep them for as long as it took and he would fit them when we were ready. So we agreed and went ahead with the purchase. When we were ready I telephoned and left a message for the fitter to arrange for the blinds to be fitted, I got no reply. I then rang Hillary's themselves. I was told that the rep had returned the voiles to them 12 months after the purchase date and we would have to choose a different set as our original choice had been discontinued. I asked the following questions Why had the voiles ect been returned to the warehouse Why hadn't the rep contacted us, he had our phone number When the voiles ect were returned to Hillary's why hadn't they contacted us Where are the voiles ect now. Nobody has or is prepared to answer these questions. It's disgusting and poor business practice. Surely a company like this should have a stock trail and should know we're stock is or has been moved to or SOLD. So why will they not answer our questions. We have now been offered our money back. I pointed out that the voiles were purchased 2 years ago and would be a lot more expensive now. it would be a gesture of good faith to compensate us, the difference in price from 2 years ago to now, bearing in mind that none of this is our fault. Hillary's are ignoring this. So to summarise Hillary's have had our money and the voiles for 2 years and if they have been resold they have been paid twice for the same item. I would think very seriously before doing business with this company. They think they are autonomous, and there business practices are unethical.

I ordered off the website and we were flying. Then things went a bit sideways. They gave me the wrong tracking number (carrier DPD) which showed the package as delivered. I did not have it so I spent quite some time chasing down DPD - they are a whole other level of horrible- and eventually went back to CBUK with the issue and they provided the correct tracking number. I checked back with DPD. THEY LOST THE BLINDS! Got in contact with CBUK and they sent out a replacement set express delivery. I have not yet fitted them but may ammend this review up if the blinds work out great. However, I will always check to see if DPD is a carrier in any purchases I ever make online again. If they are, forget it!
