When we toured the Oak Grove ceremony space and learned we'd have access to a bridal suite for the day, we were SO excited. When we first visited, Matthew and Amy showed us around. The ENTIRE country club is so beautiful, from the Oak Grove and Cypress Trees to the staircases. As we became more serious about booking and completely fell in love with the space, Silvana and Ruben were quick to respond and provided a detailed meeting and breakdown of everything. The packages were clear and informative, and they were always willing to accommodate our needs. When Cassidy took over for the rehearsal and day-of coordination, she was absolutely amazing. She was extremely responsive via email, attentive to every detail, and even addressed things we didn't think to ask about. During the rehearsal and on the wedding day, she coordinated everything so seamlessly that both our families and we felt completely at ease thanks to her calm and supportive presence. She truly cared about making our day special, and it showed in every detail. The views all over the course were spectacular and yet the course was quite playable. The greens were zipity fast, but the fairways rolled nicely. It was a beautiful course with Tom Doak's signature false front greens. If you want to stay on a green, know how far you need to land the ball, otherwise it will roll right back to you. If it does, you've been "Doaked." Lunch was fabulous--with a view --and my car was close by and ready with my clubs already inside when it was time to leave. My other nephew got lost on the way to the bathroom and ended up in the locker room. "You should see all the product they have in there!" He said when he came back. Made me wish I had found the women's locker room. Perhaps they had Chanel No 5. Food was served buffet style and it was plentiful! Several different salads, Caprese, wraps, grilled vegetables, Cedar Plank Salmon, Lemon Rosemary Chicken, Herb Crusted Beef Flank Steak, lots of desserts, & fresh fruit. (Unfortunately, no alcohol because after attending a funeral in the rain I needed a martini.) The staff were fantastic - clearing plates and refilling beverages. What I can attest to is the Caesar salad served at the Club House. It's called "A Not so Classic Caesar," and that is true. The salad consists of big leaves of tender butter lettuce. Instead of croutons it's topped with pine nuts, roasted capers, toasted buckwheat, and shaved parmesan. On its own it's delicious but when mixed with their house made Caesar dressing it's phenomenal! By far the best Caesar salad ever! If you know someone that is a member here beg them to take you to the Club House for lunch and order the Caesar. You won't regret it.

We ate tacos and a quesadilla from a food truck called Taqueria El Fuego. It was some of the best tacos and quesadilla we ever had! Three tacos were Carne asada, and the other three were al pastor. The quesadilla meat was birria, well worth the extra $2. The weather here was 70 so we didn't have to cover up too much. I do like that they have great shade spots throughout the golf course. It's a nice place to go to!!! Hopefully, we will come back again next year, too!
