This antique mall popped up in our Facebook algorithm, so we decided to check it out about two weeks ago. Overall, it's not a bad antique mall. Many of the vendors could benefit from doing better research and pricing their items more accurately. Some tags had clearly been on items for so long that the ink on the price labels had faded. That said, for the most part, pricing was decent. The antique mall employees were easy to spot since they all carried walkie-talkies, and they were quick to help when needed. One thing I would suggest is to pay close attention when they take your items to the front counter. When I went to check out, one large item I had picked up was not listed, and I had to remind them about it. Most antique malls give you a number so your items are tracked properly at checkout, which would be a helpful improvement here. This place has so many cool things!! Upon entering, we were welcomed with some beverages and snacks. I got an iced tea and cookie and started exploring. They have furniture, collectible cars, toys, cards, comics, etc. There's just so much to see. Haha I actually bought an antique iron which was pretty cool. On the left side of the mall, they have a little sit down cafe if you'd also like to stop and eat something. We didn't get to try anything there, but I like that option. My first experience about 1 year ago, I really enjoyed this antique mall. Recently several boths have turned into flea market junk, selling toys,clothes, just junk and not set up well. I enjoy a variety, but important to keep booths displays nice and not flea market feel. Also the bathrooms need major upgrade, i about threw up it smelled like sewage 2/14/26 the stalls that work are tight. this aint the first time the bathrooms were bad. read more

This is supposed to be one of the better antique malls in the FTW/Arlington area, but it doesn't get very good reviews on Yelp. Upon entering, one of the key ladies indicated they were just named #1 in Texas by Trip Advisor. After passing through and only spending a little over an hour, I'd say there was not much antiques overall. Maybe they received first place because the layout is simple (impossible to get lost) and it's well organized....but the content for me was just too new. I didn't know I liked antiquing until now! We recently moved into a new house and were searching everywhere for a round table. We checked all the high-end stores, but nothing felt quite right. We've seen Copper Street Antique's in passing as we do not live in the area. Then, I felt a nudge to go, so my daughter and I decided to stop by this shop and I'm so glad we did. The store is clean, organized, and honestly such a joy to browse. You can easily spend hours looking through everything. As we were making our way toward the front, my daughter spotted the perfect antique round table. Mr. Charles, the gentleman whose booth it was in, was incredibly helpful and even shared a bit of history about the piece. What I appreciated most was that he wasn't a pushy salesman just genuinely informative and kind. They also offer layaway, which is a huge bonus! I put the table on layaway that same day. When we returned a few weeks later, my daughter ended up finding a beautiful antique cupboard. The fun is truly in the search! I love this place! The building is full of all sorts of antiques, ranging from all sorts of time periods. We ate at the tea room located in the back and it was such a wonderful experience. Our waitress was so kind and recommended us try the house iced tea, it was so good. I got the California club and it was pretty good. Thrift stores are the way to go. You can find things that are from your childhood, your teenage hood or even items that you want currently as well. This place was pretty well organized and was not hot. Usually antique places are swell, but this one was a good temperature. read more

Friendly service and a huge volume of antiques ranging from military articles to household goods. Even animal skulls and other oddities are available. The mall has large aisles and most of the booths are neatly organized. We picked up some sets of Pyrex that were just what we were looking for. Worst employees ever. I've been to many antique malls in many different areas and have never been racial profiled and treated the way I was today. My girlfriend and I were "secretly" followed around by a middle aged woman and watched while looking at jewelry/ books and not asked once if we needed help and then confronted by an older man and told to "put ur book back where you got it" and "give me the book now, I have to take your items to the front" I had answered "no thankyou I'm still deciding if I want to buy it for someone" and then was told yet again I was not allowed to have it and to put it back where I found it. Meanwhile 2 other customers were near by holding more than 3 items in hand. I asked another employee if I was not allowed to hold my items and she answered "yes of course you can no worries" I've never been so disgusted and had my wonderful day ruined so fast. I was loving everthing there and I was planning on buying so many amazing things they had until this moment. read more

Vendors beware - Owner Chris Scheidler is a crook - items get stolen, tags are changed on items, & prices get changed to the price customers want to pay & Chris does nothing about it. He screws you out of your money & does not care if your product gets stolen - you are just out of luck & have to file a claim!!!! Horrible owner!!! read more

I was in line at cashier with 2 people behind me. A helper asked me if I wanted to give him the items I was purchasing to get them ready for the cashier. I said no, I will hold them. The 2 people behind me said yes, he could take their purchases. He then gives the cashier their purchases and they are rung up before mine, because they were next in line. When I told the cashier I was next in line and they were behind me, she said nothing. So I said "I am being punished because I did not give him my things." So I went back to stand in line. I was not happy. I was not cordial. I was actually pissed but felt nothing I said would've correct the insult I had just experienced. No pseudo non-contrite apology will make up for that insult. I had a great experience here. Since coming about 2 years ago this place has really changed. They have a HUGE selection now. It's not just all trashy white overpriced stuff but some actual hidden gems. The place is huge & you could spend a long time here. After reading some reviews about POC being treated differently by staff I believe it. After I went to "Antique mall of Mansfield" I experienced being followed & targeted by staff for the same reason. This is a wonderful spot to explore antiques in a clean, organized and air conditioned environment. Though I love antique shopping, I am put off by cramped, dusty and musty stores. Cooper street Antique Mall great because it is modern, clean, well lit and very open with lots of room to browse. I will NEVER give this place any type of business EVER again. My sister and my children were here today and a lady used racial slurs towards my FIVE year old. My sister stuck up for her nephew as is expected and she was asked to leave. No one said A THING about what happened, nor was this issue probably addressed. She tried to explain multiple times what had happened and she still had to leave, despite the fact that she frequents this place often. Had someone did that in my place of employment, I as a manager, would tell the lady to leave and never return again. HUGE antique mall on south Cooper street, next to Wal Mart and Burlington outlet. This mall is an extension of the Montgomery Antique Mall in Fort Worth so some familiar faces are here now. Selection ranges from true antiques to commercial product lines (candles, oils and stuff) with many unique items to be seen. Lots and lots of old European furniture. Not as much "flea market" booths as you'd find at some other places. This could be a Plus or Minus depending on the shopper. read more

Went here today. Blake, one of the employees had a mask on. Barely covering his mouth, not even close to covering his nose. I said, "Hey man, you are supposed to have that mask over your nose too." Got a very dirty look and no response. I would not go to this mall again as long as the virus is happening. What a terrible person. I know that the management doesn't care because Blake was walking around the register the same way and no one said a word. If you want the virus go here immediately. We came in on Sunday. Lots of people. Not my thing. So we came back on Monday. I found two turquoise items that I loved and wanted to buy. I asked the male sitting in the front if he could unlock the cabinet so I could look at the items. It was as if I asked him to wash my truck. The cabinet was by the front desk where he was sitting. I asked if the same person was selling both items. And I also asked if there was room for some negotiation. He just said the owner would just take 10% off. Then I ask if cash would make a difference. It was like I asked him to pull a tooth for me. So I continue to look in the store and bought nothing. If he was a good representative of the store my wife and I would have spent some money there. Awesome selection & variety of items. Every time we travel we look for local antique malls and this one satisfied my hunt! All of the staff was very friendly, as we shopped they would ask if they could hold our items up front (or answer any questions) We found some beautiful metal/wood windows that will be traveling all the way back to Georgia!
