On April 30, 2015 My Wife and I will celabrete our 50th Anniversary. We were a couple of kids that eloped. The Millerton Town clerk sugested that we seek out Rev. Arey at the Copake Methodist Curch. Rev. Arey conciled us than agreed to marry us O Friday April 30, 1965. Well almost 48 years later here we are in Florida retired. We have fond memories of that day. There were no relatives there, just 2 witness Rev Arey and the 2 of us. A beautiful Church wedding. We have had our vows renewed twice, once at the St, Marry's Episcopal Church in Enfield CT and the Old North Church in Boston. Nothing compairs to the little Methodist Church in Copake NY.
