Customer service here is trash, employees don't give a shit how long the line is they are ridiculous..smh

Abandon hope all ye who enter here. It worked for Dante and it works for Copart. There's a reason why the stars uniform in their assessment. Truly, a frustratingly-run organization. In hopes of being succinct, I am going to attempt to be brief in my tale of woe. Rather than sending my car to be examined at a dealer or mechanic (as I was told should have been the case from my Nashville counsel), my Miami/Orlando insurance reps (I have no idea who was handling the situation... and neither did they) sent my car here. This is the car version of 'the farm upstate' your dog went to. There's no coming back from Copart. There's only pain. I spoke with two different women about when my car would be picked up (was given four different times), where it was going , when it would be evaluated (to this day, I have NEVER heard back about the situation), and what to do from there (see earlier). The shoddy, disorganized, backwoods way in which my vehicle and I were treated gave me yet another reminder of why I was leaving Miami. Unfortunately, Copart is a very Miami business. Yes, that sentence means all you think it does. When a tow truck finally came to retrieve my vehicle (2 days after the initial time I was given), he was rude, gruff, unfriendly, unhelpful, and when he tired of interacting with me, pretended he no longer spoke English. Klassy. He's co-opting my property and I don't get the options to ask any questions about the situation. Again, very Miami. He hoisted my car up, loaded her on the bed and drove her to her sad fate. I never saw her again. I never saw the car that got me through two and a half decades of life. I hate thinking about what happened to my prized car once she arrived at the lot. Perhaps it's best that I was unable to get anyone on the phone or get anyone to call me back about the situation. The fewer details I have, the better. Hi, I paid my basic membership fee 59$ and send my ID on 11/11/21, but Copart still has not activated my account, they said will take 2 days for activation but they keep rolling my case from person to person for over a week now, I asked them why? they said my email "gmail.com" maybe be blocked and it's in review. I am upset about the service, once a customer pay, no one care after. I want this to be resolved ASAP and start counting my membership from the day my account is activated or refunding my money back. Copart needs some help. 1. Most of the vehicles I've gotten from Copart have had body damage from being carelessly mishandled. Oftentimes it's hard to see in the low resolution pictures they use for their listings. It's obvious that some of the yard workers are very careless. On many of the vehicles the only damage to the vehicle is from Copart. 2. I've been to two different locations to pick vehicles up. Both were very inconsistently run and poorly managed. Some days I could get a car in under an hour. Other days it would take upwards of six hours! And not for any legitimate reason. It was never because they were more or less busy, but all because the locations are so poorly run. 3. For non-dealers the fees are very high. I don't know about other states but in Texas they also tack on 8.25% sales tax on everything. The vehicle, the fees, etc. Going through a broker has saved me thousands of dollars. 4. At each location I've literally watched dozens of salvage vehicles being driven out of the yard and out on the highways by purchasers. They will even drive them back in and use these salvage vehicles to two other salvage vehicles out and onto the highway. Copart supposedly does not allow them to do this, but I have never seen anybody stop anybody. These are cars that have no insurance, tags, registration, nothing. These are vehicles that have salvage titles and shouldn't be on the road. 5. Customer service needs help. Oftentimes the person answering the phone is reasonably helpful. The problem is the wait times on hold just to speak to someone can be hours long! read more

Worth customer support, I call more then 10 times. I bought 5 car and there many scratches on every one. If you can search a car some one else you have to do that. Not Recommend. read more

This is from the view point of someone who's totaled car was taken here. The service was extremely rude and slow. The girl at the counter wasn't very friendly at all. I think if she actually smiled once that day the world would slip into a nuclear winter. Besides the horrible service and language barriers they don't exactly treat your car very good. Half of my vehicle was torn apart and thrown inside the car. I hope I never have to deal with them again. read more

Horrible service! Was put on hold from the get go and was on hold for more than 5 minutes. I work in customer service and was appalled by this. You atleast give a greeting before putting someone on hold flat out. read more

If I could give them less than 1 star, I would. Incompetent liars would be the best way to describe them. If your vehicle is involved in an accident DO NOT let the insurance company tow your vehicle to this trash hole. Demand that it be taken straight to a repair shop. All they do is milk the insurance company and drag their feet. This place is a scam! read more

Worst customer service, I login in to the website and established an account and was lead to believe I was ready to bid. I watched as the lots I wanted to bid on passed by while I was blocked. It is fraudulent advertising and deliberately misleading. Anyone want to start class action suit let me know. At a minimum I want to file charges with Texas state department of licensing and regulation. I am a reseller and fabricator, I have all the licensing need but was never prompted or directed to what was needed. I'm done with these scammers. Copart's the worst. I'm going with autobidmaster unless they share any partnership with copart. read more

After winning the vehicle, I went to Copart (Miami North) to pick up the vehicle. The auction stated that the vehicle had keys and front end damage. That was all. When I arrived at Copart I paid the cashier and she told me the keys were not in the office. She told me to check in the vehicle when they bring it out of the lot. I checked the car and NO key the car also had two pronounced dents on the trunk and rear right door (this was not stated on the online auction). The forklift from Copart had already put the car up on my tow truck. I went back in the office and told the employee that the keys were not in the car. The tow truck and I then waited and waited (about 25 min) for them to look for the keys. The employee then told me that the car had NO key, it apparently was never updated. So now I was given the option to take the vehicle as is (NO key) or a refund. Now I've wasted all this time and money ($10 for the cashier's check and $40 for the tow truck guy). Very disappointed, it isn't cheap to buy at Copart the fees are very expensive and on top of that I wasted a ton of my time and $50 dollars all for nothing. A mistake like this shouldn't happen in such a huge company and if it does then Copart should take responsibility. read more
