This place is definitely known for importing and exporting. I don't care what others may think…read moreabout certain companies here in The Lone Star State. There's a number of Felonious businesses that I've had to encounter and if there's a buck to make, Welp Texas being a RED STATE will get it from ya. I had to go to this Janky ran establish we're gonna call it lol. They allegedly ONLY auction and repossess cars, trucks, and SUV's here. The service isn't the best. There's a sign that lets customers know the person is at lunch from 12:30-2p.m. I wish I could take lunches like that. Also the younger people (employees) all were my color but acted as if they were in the jungle. Yes, I can discriminate against my own people. I couldn't believe that an organization this Massive would have these types of employees actively engaging in an unprofessional behavior...and having access to people's car keys etc. After observing their behavior it dawned on me. Businesses like these have people who aren't as swift to what's happening behind the scenes. So hiring a bunch of unprofessional employees would make sense. There was a lot of shiesty sh.. going on but all I wanted was my whip back. They changed my car key, and it doesn't work SMDH. Now I gotta take it back to the dealership and that's a fee. My front windshield ended up with two cracks in the front windshield from the 45-50 mile per hour winds we endured several months ago. My passenger side rear view mirror was also damaged, and my license plate was thrown out. This was the SECOND worst experience I've ever had to endure in one state. I've heard some stories from others' that have chosen to make Texas their place of residence and several people have had similar experiences with how they conduct business here. Life has been Life'N for not just myself but a number of others' as well. Again, this was a learning process that I take accountability for. I also learned that Texas doesn't need me to make their money. If it's not my funds they're gonna get someone else's By Any Means Necessary. This a FACT, not FICTION.

I go back and look at the pics which I have posted here and the car is clearly overheating. I automatically put a PSI on every single green light car I buy. They of course run a car down a 200 Ft track and pass it since it is the Give me the vin group. I tell the arbitration manager Stephanie Hurtado I don't want to waste my day driving up there only to find out the car is overheating and has issues. She said she would have another mechanic check it and assured me it was ok. I drive up and before I can get from the back of the PSI lot to the front of the manheim building the Accord is overheating. I go in and talk to Rich Curtis the GM and send him the correspondence with Stephanie and he said "this appears cut and dried" I will handle it. I look yesterday online and it says Arbitration completed buyer bought. I sent out an email asking What in the hell is going on? I get a mechanic who calls me this morning and said he couldn't get it to overheat. I said did you drive it and put it under load? He assures me He did but he is going to drive it and retest. I get a call back and he says yes it did overheat but it is only a fan motor. I asked about the engine light. He said that is most likely an O2 sensor. He said it is not safe to drive and would need to be transported because it has a high pressure steering hose leak and it could catch on fire. His assessment is all of this is less than $800 to fix (per component mind you) and I am going to have to buy it. How does John Clay Wolfe and Give Me The Vin get away with running Green light cars that are overheating and then forcing a buyer (or you will be banned from every manheim auction across the country) to pay for them? Long story short that Green light Accord has to be transported on a flat bed out of Manheim Dallas. I will never do business out of there again.....Period! Worst liars I have ever had to work with. They want to force everyone to an online buying platform where the cars aren't driven through the lanes and then lie about the vehicle and it's condition. Biggest racket ever!

Dealer trade in offers were around $16,000 up to $17,000. Blue Book trade in value was around $16,500 to $18,000. Blue Book Private Party price is around $19,000 - $20,000. We provided our own car loan company that was indepandant from the car dealer and the agent suggested trying givemethevin.com I wasn't too excited about the hastle of selling the car private party. So I called givemethevin.com on Monday 3/9/26 and had a nice conversation with Jennifer. She asked for information about the car and some photos of my car. After hanging up I was able to send her the information and within an hour of our first conversation she called me right back with an excellent offer and asked if I was interested. I was very happy and excited about the offer. Then she asked for some other sepcific pictures of the car and documents. Jennifer and I talked again on 3/10/26 she made an offer of $19,750, oh yeah! Selling it private party I was going to ask $20,000 and if it got desperate I would have gone down to $18,000. So $19,750 was way above my expectations. Finalizing the documentating was completed the same day with a plesant lady named Monica. I was given instructions on completing the documentation and on where to deliver the car (40 miles away) and made an appointment for delivery on 3/11/26. When I arrived there the man who did the intake inspection was nice to work with and he already had the $19,750 check in hand. That took around 20 minutes then they paid for an Uber Chevy Suburban to drive me home. Three pain free days and $19,750 from start to finish was an outstanding experiance and givemethevin.com is a very honest and classy operation. I recommend them to anyone. I wish that I had more cars to sell.

I went to look at a 2025 Mazda CX-50 with about 25k miles listed around $25,999. The CARFAX was listed as clean, but the vehicle itself had very obvious visible collision damage. Several panels and a door were misaligned, loose, and looked like the vehicle had been sideswiped. When I pointed this out, I was repeatedly told it was "dust," "dirt," or "wax" despite the damage being clearly visible. It took a lot of back-and-forth just to get anyone to acknowledge the condition of the car. Things got even worse once financing was discussed. I offered roughly a 20% down payment and was trading in a vehicle with positive equity. I also have essentially no other debt, a stable career history, and strong credit. Despite that, the terms presented to me were about $12,000-$13,000 down with roughly 11% APR on a $25k vehicle. I was told several banks had "flat out declined" me, including Bank of America. The salesperson repeated that wording multiple times: "flat out declined." That immediately raised red flags for me because I've had a long-standing relationship with Bank of America for years and have multiple accounts with them. Then the story suddenly changed. I was told that if I purchased their extended warranty, the deal would magically improve to something closer to about $2,000 down and around 6% APR. In other words, if I bought their warranty product, my rate would drop dramatically and the down payment requirement would suddenly disappear. When I asked them to put those financing terms in writing, I received a lot of pushback and they were very reluctant to provide anything documenting the offer. At one point, after hours of going back and forth, I was even told that if I had the money available I should just pay for the vehicle in full right then and there. I spent over eight hours at the dealership dealing with delays, pushback, and waiting while trying to get clear answers. After leaving the dealership, I contacted Bank of America directly and was told something completely different. They informed me that I was not declined and indicated they could finance the vehicle and provide a lending ledger if necessary. That directly contradicts what EchoPark told me in the showroom. I am still waiting for confirmation of which lenders my credit was submitted to and the results of those applications. Despite multiple calls, texts, and emails, the dealership has been very slow to provide that information. Given the resistance to putting financing terms in writing and the difficulty obtaining my credit application results, it raises serious concerns that the bank's actual approval rate (often called the "buy rate") may have been marked up by the dealership for additional profit. Between the visible damage being dismissed, the financing terms changing dramatically depending on whether I purchased a warranty, being told banks "flat out declined" me when the bank says otherwise, and the resistance to providing documentation, the entire situation felt extremely questionable. I ultimately walked away from the deal, and based on my experience I would strongly encourage anyone shopping here to request all financing terms and lender responses in writing and verify them directly when possible.
