This school is the worst! I failed my son by moving to a location where he wasn't in a good school…read morezone. I was lied to and didn't do my due diligence. Every day I worry because he was once an honor student and now he's barely making it. Meetings are useless and nothing gets accomplished except your child falling through the cracks!

They don't encourage students towards the future it's as if they don't expect much from them at all as far as furthering their education. I live in Massapequa so why was he sent to Amityville? It's because of the color of his skin. I drive past Massapequa HS and they're playing soccer. My son wasn't offered any type of extra curriculum activities. The students curse like sailors and are constantly vaping in the bathrooms and locker room which I reported and nothing was done. This zoo should be shut down because it's only hurting our children's future! Don't try to contact a principal or any one of authority because they don't respond back unless you make a scene. Meanwhile my son's education has suffered tremendously from being in this school! But that's why they put him there right? He hasn't learned a damn thing since we left Baldwin Harbor!
