It took a little over 2 years to finally receive my court date. Sometimes I get behind on checking mail but this time it really bit me. I only had 7 days before my non-jury bench trial. Coppage Law was the only firm around that would take my case on such short notice and with a judge who has a zero-tolerance for DUI/speeding in Glynn County. Mr. Coppage is an intelligent, confident, and detail oriented individual, which is something very reassuring when hiring an attorney. He was able to acquire all the documents that pertained to my case in that short amount of time. Our initial Plea Deal was to reduce the DUI to reckless driving and reduce the speeding ticket to below 20+ mph. On the morning of court we were able to get my BAC results, which came back at 0.055. An individual can still be convicted of Reckless Driving and/or DUI "less safe" if below 0.08 but above 0.05 in Georgia. Given my excessive speed, which was very dumb of me to go that fast, the court had enough potential evidence to convict me of either. Mr. Coppage was able to convince the judge to DISMISS my DUI charge and accept the full speeding ticket charge. He was also able to apply my "No Lo" to the speeding ticket, which prevented ANY points from going onto my license. So in the end, my DUI was completely DISMISSED, I paid $1000 fine for the speeding, and I received NO points on my license. This was the best possible scenario for my case and I'm still in disbelief he was able to pull it off. Without a doubt, I would use Coppage Law Firm again for any issues I run into while visiting the Savannah/Brunswick area.

They were able to get my ticket dismissed with court costs paid. Everything cost less than my full ticket would have been with super speeder. Now my driving record remains clear thankfully. Highly recommend this firm for stellar work and friendly communication.

I'm not a huge fan of Google reviews because the vetting process is lax…read more I tend to rely on YELP reviews because they at LEAST have some minor vetting processes in place to make sure you're not a friend or relative of the business. My only 'complaint' is that while Yelpers tend to review restaurants and salons - they don't typically Yelp about doctors, lawyers, nursing homes, funeral homes, etc - businesses where your opinions and reviews can REALLY matter to the reader / consumer. I guess it's because during the times when you need the aforementioned businesses - you're not really in a good headspace to review - you're in crisis mode. So . . . I'm here to change all that. Lol. I have only used The Patrick Firm one time, officially - and overall - I'm happy. Attorney Mike Patrick was as tenacious as a bulldog on a previous matter and I was NOT his client - so I reached out to him for help with a closing. He responded whilst on vacation - which I was impressed with. Stacy Patrick also reached out to me. His paralegal, Karen - is also super responsive - with regards to phone calls and emails, I have never met a more responsive paralegal - which is really why I ranked them at 5 stars. And let me just say - now that both Dad and Mother have passed away - I've had WAAAAY more interactions with lawyers (probate, real estate, etc) than I would like. And it's awesome to have an attorney's office that believes in follow-up. The receptionist is a little rough around the edges. Will NOT take a message. Phone skills a little hinky. And we did seem to have a bit of a disconnect with regards to the "buyer pays ALL closing costs and attorney fees" aspect of the process - but overall - we were happy with the attorney. Yelp doesn't have a way to rate someone 4.5 stars - so I rounded up to 5 stars. If we cannot work out the 'buyer pays ALL closing costs and attorney fees' aspect of the closings - then I do not know if we will use them for future closings - but I would still recommend them. If nothing else - they answer the phone and return calls which I've discovered is a rarity among attorney offices these days.
