I've been on a health kick lately and Copper Branch makes it easy to pretend I'm eating healthy... I don't know if all the food is THAT healthy given the amount of sauce and heavy calories. But it certainly does make becoming vegan super easy and enjoyable. If only all vegan food taste this good! Now we got some vegetarian power bowls since we felt like meatless that day. It was near the end of the day, I wasn't there though but the server also handed an extra order from another customer to my husband and said that the buyer didn't show up. Well lucky us, we got something that we would have NEVER ordered... I don't even know what the order was but one was a veggie chicken burger? vegan buffalo wings? and some kinda bean/tofu cube topping on a power bowl. I would've never ordered it but it actually taste pretty good. I thought the idea of vegan buffalo wings would be terrible but I'm wrong. Definitely surprised how good it turned out. I love the food at copper branch. Whenever I'm feeling "healthy" or just want to treat myself, I go here! For this particular location, the staff that took my order was nice but service is really slow. She was on her own and there was one order pick up ahead of me. I think I was there for 20-25 mins from the moment I got there. I got the Aristotle plate and it was really good. It came with your standard brown rice or greens option. However, I subbed it with Konjac noodles which is 0 calories - ugh, I'm really trying to lose weight (don't check my other reviews b/c you'll be disappointed that I'm not maintaining a healthy lifestyle). Anyway, everything was great and the portion seemed "okay" - I've had some bowls that are larger in size although it was really filling. I didn't feel "heavy" or bloated after eating this meal and how I wish I can eat this daily but I know my wallet won't be happy! Pricing wise, I paid $20 for one meal (with 1 sub ingredient). So, if you have money to spare, I'd say go for it! They have other options like their vegan burger for $12+. Not feasible for me to keep coming back since ya girl is on a budget but don't shy away from trying the food because it's actually good! Better than your average Caesar salad ;) read more

Copper Branch bowls are delicious and super filling. I ordered the General Copper Bowl. It was a bit pricey but all the ingredients tasted fresh and the flavours were great together. The general Tao mushrooms are so good. I really enjoyed the texture as a meat substitute. I do wish the bowl came in the smaller size though as I find it hard to save the leftovers since it's a mix of fresh and cooked ingredients. One thing to note about this location is that preparation is sometimes slow. It's often only one or two people working so it can take a bit longer to get your food. However, the workers are really nice and there is seating to wait for your food. Can't wait to try the other bowls and vegan options available here! read more

We ordered the poke bowls and waited for them to be made. The decor is fresh and clean. There were a number of choices on the menu. I ordered the Asian Fusion power bowl with the konjac noodles, my husband ordered the Shiitake Teriyaki sandwich and the Sweet Potato Copper Cubes. Honestly the food was monumentally disappointing. It really lacked taste. If you're even going to use your name on one of the dishes, shouldn't it be a feature dish? The dining experience did start well as we entered the restaurant in the midst of a conflict between the rest workers and a very dissatisfied customer, whose fries looked soggy. as we missed any earlier part of the conversation we only heard the workers defending the dish as a customer favorite. After requesting the wait staff to say nothing further, after the customer left they continued to complain about her. Sadly the Aztec bowl was alm completely lacking in flavor. The mango salsa wasn't much more than corn and tomato bits, and I suppose there was mango. The falafel tasted like no falafel I've ever had. Being vegan, I'm committed to both healthy and flavorful. I don't doubt the healthiness, but the taste and combination of foods really missed it for me. We probably won't return. it's too bad, but so much not right about the experience. The other tables take 1-4 people. The place offers complimentary filtered water that is self-serve. Tables aren't always wiped down however. (Dock points for sanitation). Experience: Staff is friendly. I've been here many times. The first experience I tried the SPICY BLACK BEAN BURGER which was amazing with the SPICY BUFFALO WINGS as a side. The SPICY BUFFALO WINGS here are on another level, they really got the texture down. Second time around I tried the MUSHROOM GALAXY BURGER which was alright. Do not trust this branch to prepare gluten free food. I notified the restaurant that my daughter has celiac disease and asked if they could assure me that my order would not have any cross contamination. They assured me that the cauliflower flatbread that I ordered would be gluten free. My daughter was seriously ill three hours after eating it. And furthermore, it wasn't even good. The portions fill you up and the food is of excellent quality. I'm so glad they opened up in the area and I'm forever comparing power bowls and smoothies to Copper Branch standards and flavour. It's actually pretty good considering it's a healthy food joint and their dishes are vegan. I saw this restaurant in Quebec but never got around to trying it. To my surprise they opened one in front of my house so I had to try it lol I really liked the variety on the menu, lots of different veggies but some dishes were slightly too much fusion for me personally. I had a soup and a salad both were surprisingly good. The sever was nice. The restaurant was definitely a work in progress. Atmosphere was alright, the menu is diverse, but it took quite a while for our food to come out, even though the restaurant was basically empty. My friend ordered a burger and fries. His burger came out, then both of our orders of fries came out around 10 minutes later. What really bothers me is that we couldn't eat at the same time and that the staff didn't even acknowledge there was an issue. Not even an apology for the wait. I contacted this restaurant when I was making a Father's Day lunch. I had a lot of questions and needed assistance putting together a menu. The manager was so helpful and patient. She helped me choose various dishes and even offered to prepare some of the dishes in my own pretty bowls, which she had me bring to her just before the pick up time. She even threw in two side orders of fries because my order was so big. The food was great. Loved the wings and general Tao bowl. The dishes are a good size - could use a touch more protein but still filling and delicious. I have ordered twice from this restaurant via skipthedishes and I am totally hooked! The Aristotle bowl and Asian kimchi edamame-centered one are incredible! The copper cubes I ordered were delicious (I didn't think the rosemary was overbearing, or perhaps the restaurant cut back on it after the negative reviews). The collard wrap is a bit tough to chew through, but both the copper burger and black bean burger stuffing were delicious! My friend and I ordered within 2 minutes of each other. I had ordered a burger and fries, however my fries came several minutes after I finished my burger. Additionally, my burger came over 10 minutes before my friend receiced anything at all. Quite disappointing, as it is common practice to bring out all dishes at the same time, especially when you have ordered the exact same dishes. On top of this, the "fries" arent what you're expecting. Rather, they are baked potato cubes with way too much rosemary on them. Very misleading to call them fries, as this was not what was delivered to me. Food was good for the price, however the lackluster service makes me want to try my luck at other locations. read more
