Copper Mug is a friendly little cafe with ample seating both indoors and out (their back patio space is the best on a sunny day) located right across the Whole Foods on N4th St. I stopped by for a cold brew lemonade, which is one of my favorite drinks to order at Whistle + Fizz. Copper Mug's version sadly did not come with carbonation, but the coffee was very pleasantly bitter and smooth against the tartness of the lemonade. Whenever I stop by, the cafe is always busy which is not difficult to understand why as there are outlets and free Wifi available. read more

Stumbled into here looking for a matcha fix and really enjoyed it. You can sit either in the front for some people watching, indoors to get some work done, or hang with friends in the back yard. Love their iced mocha - bold coffee, perfectly creamy, not too sweet but good balance of chocolate. The lavender latte was just okay to me, it doesn't have much of the lavender taste to it. This is a wonderful cafe with a large amount of seating space and definitely hits all the requirements of my perfect cafe. Pretty drinks, lots of benches, a well kept bathroom and wifi (but not on the weekends and unfortunately this has me leave this review at 4 stars). Otherwise it's great. There is a whole backyard porch that leaves lots of room for get together and hanging out with friends on a good spring day (unfortunately it's not very viable in the winter or hot summer). It can get super crowded and have a major rush so on a Sunday afternoon (which is when I stopped by) it felt a bit cramp. The service is nice and fast and were quite friendly and accommodating to all my additions to my seasonal matcha ube latte. As for the latte itself it tasted fantastic. The taste of ube and matcha complemented itself very well and I wish this was a full time flavor at this cafe. Neither taste was too strong, so for an ice drink I loved it. Slight note, the banner for their seasonal drinks has these pretty looking for here glass mugs, and they do not serve the drinks in the same mugs as advertised. The cafe seems to have a community presence so there are often children and dogs walking through which definitely enhances the vibe. I will be coming back on a weekday to study and sit down when there is wifi available. read more

This is a great place to stop by for a cuppa when walking around Williamsburg. My daughter and I did exactly this on a recent chilly, misty day. It has a cute and cosy ambience inside but what attracted us to begin with was a sign outside advertising their pastéis de nata! We had been to Portugal together a couple years ago and loved these mini custard tarts! We ordered two pastéis de nata, which were delicious, along with a couple tasty cappuccinos. This was a fun little coffeeshop with a cute outdoor garden. They have an extensive menu and the barista was very patient in answering our questions about the various drinks. First time coming and definitely hope to be back it's really the little things that make this place so special: friendly atmosphere, good music, beautiful outdoor backyard, and thoughtful menu with plentiful drink and food options. What a cute spot with a great back patio and the friendliest owner! I had actually intended on going somewhere else that ended up being closed, and I'm glad it was because I hopped on Yelp and ended up coming here instead. The ambiance is super cute inside but given indoor dining is kaput for now, I ate in their back patio which has long picnic style tables that are covered in case of rain and then a bunch of non covered tables as well. There's heaters in the back but as it was like 48 degrees I was okay without. I ordered an almond chai that was very well made, and the highlight was the Big Berry Yogurt - it was absolutely delicious! It has strawberries, cranberries, pumpkin seeds, honey, and maybe some other stuff but all in all it was just fantastic. I'd happily, happily keep going back to try the same thing (although their orange mint yogurt sounds good too). The owner, Amir, was so friendly and checked up on me to make sure I was happy as well. He does a great job making Copper Mug a welcoming spot, and is doing great with the pandemic precautions as well! read more

And then I heard the other barista say something along the lines of, "oh Aida, how about 'Aida' rather not be here", pretty rude if you ask me. And then I ordered the spicy nook sandwich. And when another server called my named to grab it she didn't even knowledge me when I tried to thank her and instead she talked to her coworker while I was right in front of her. The sandwich was really good, so was my chai tea. I really like the pumpkin and salt and maple syrups too. I did like all the options for seating although it was pretty packed. I'd say if you have a big party get there early. By 7pm the whole place was filled. There was a huge majong club that came in and took the whole back area, it was so crammed there were lines for the bathroom. Over all I had a good time. I really like the music too just know it gets very busy in there. The employees I would say were hit or miss. The ones that were great though I really liked. Just seem like the ones who didn't really give attention to customers or were kind of rude seemed like they didn't wanna be there.
