PLEASE READ! I know the current stars don't look that great, but please consider how current my review will be when considering moving into this community. These apartments are very spacious and cozy. They have the necessities and so much character. I absolutely fell in love with the gas fireplaces! Especially in the winter, this has been one of the best parts. These apartments can easily be a home with a little love. The staff is so wonderful and accommodating! I greatly enjoyed touring my now apartment with Omar and with working with Leslie to get all settled in. And if there's something wrong, the maintenance team works diligently to address your concerns. Plus the area around the community is very quiet and there are so many stores and necessities nearby that running to get something is quick and easy. And you're only like 15 minutes from Boulder, which is a big plus! All in all, speaking as someone who recently moved in here, give it a shot. I did and I don't regret it!

Karen, Kacie and Chris are all amazing, wonderful people who are kind-hearted and willing to go the extra mile for you. My boyfriend and I lived under their property management for about 3 years, first at Kimberly Court for a year and then at Flatiron View for nearly 2 years. We loved both apartments, but we especially took a liking to our apartment at Flatiron View. It is extremely well maintained, and the maintenance staff are top notch. They go above and beyond. Anytime we had an issue, they would arrive within minutes of us calling in to the office. They are just so nice and so friendly, and they really know their stuff. They always got everything we needed fixed done right. They even unclogged our bathtub drain one time even though that wasn't the reason we had called them! Our appliances were all up to date.... Really I can't speak highly enough of Flatiron View. I have absolutely zero complaints, and 500% praise. Please rent from them, you won't regret it!

BELL FLATIRONS KNOWINGLY, IGNORANTLY, PURPOSELY, and UNAPOLOGETICALLY KILLS WILDLIFE!…read more Yesterday I went to resident services expressing my concern for the dead bunnies and squirrels that I have found that all have blood coming out of their noses and mouths. The pest control they use is a poison that makes the "pest" internally bleed until they die. There is no remedy for the poison and the poison does not know the difference between a rat and a bunny. Once a bunny gets it and then a hawk gets the bunny...they all die. Domino effect... if your cat gets a poisoned mouse that got in your house, then your cat dies. There are also people with outdoor cats. It's an absolute environmental hazard. My puppy dog who is 11 years old is the one who found a chewed up "bait box" exposing the poison within that was dragged out into our grassy courtyard. Our domestic animals are also in danger. There was a dead poisoned squirrel right next to the lake and where a bald eagle has been spotted fishing. There is a poisonous green algae in the lake, yet they still rent out paddle boards that uninformed residents happily rent and frolic about in contaminated water. After visiting resident services expressing concern just yesterday...management sent pest control over to my exact building number with orders to "get rid of the nuisance squirrels" people were complaining were in their attics. I have talked to everyone who lives in this building. Nobody called and there is no reason a squirrel would burrow into an attic in the summertime. Pest control said they bait from the ground, meaning all ground critters are at risk, which then puts our birds of prey at risk,There are hundreds of little holes at the bases of the foundations of these buildings where they put the bait boxes. Your pets are at risk. I scared the pest control guy away today. No telling if and when he will be back. I am keeping my eye on a few bunnies I believe to be orphaned. ( I just added a photo of one that I just found dead and then an aggressive on leash dog treated it like a squeaky toy). I held them only for a very short period of time for a quick health check. I will not take away their right to be wild. I will not feed them or handle them again as I know that is not good for them. . MANAGEMENT sent a guy today who was instructed to "get rid "of my squirrel buddies. I was informed I was not even allowed to have a bird feeder and that it is "in the lease" but I have not found that within the 62 page lease. If they post a response below saying they didn't know or they intend to improve, blah blah blah, that's a lie. They lie constantly to their residents. I was lied to right in my face today and told they use live traps. I just talked to pest control and shown the bait box and poison. Had I not experienced this issue I still would tell anyone one considering Bell flatirons to RUN.. Closed amenities including pools, hot tub, tennis courts, grills, basketball/racquet ball courts closed( when I moved in) elevator for disabled/elderly people inoperable for years (!), community grounds not handicapped accessible (very few ramps on sidewalks), Slow maintenance requests (they are understaffed), Pre-eviction letters of possession on the 4th of every month, dirty groundskeeping (trash and overflowing poop stations), apartment upkeep, horribly dirty windows, screens, blinds, old water heaters that flood (one was installed in 1993 that just flooded), plumbing issues, garbage disposal issues, dishwashers over-flowing, residents pay for the dumpsters on site as well as personal trash, pest control charge that kills wildlife, unempathetic, dishonest and immoral resident services management, corporate environment, many promises that will not be kept on THEIR part. However you are expected to maintain your end of the agreement rigidly. It's horribly managed, and maintenance is understaffed. If you live here and are disturbed by my squirrel/bunny story call the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of cruelty to animals), local news like Denver 7, local city government, Boulder County government, post on FB page, tell your neighbors and spread the word, refuse to pay pest control fee, and post a Yelp or Google review.

I want to start by saying that this review reflects my personal experience with this apartment…read morecomplex. I rented the 1 Bedroom 1 Bathroom. Pricing: The price is simply not worth it. The rent doesn't include utilities or fees, and I'm paying close to $1,900 a month. They first get you with the Promotional price, then boom you get hit with an absurd rent hike, to motivate you to move. Living Room: The area is nice and cozy, and the fireplace is useful during the winter months. However, it essentially becomes wasted space during the summer. Kitchen: This is where the flaws really start to show. The kitchen is tiny. There are only four cabinets to store dishes, medicine, spices, and canned goods, which is a huge inconvenience. You'll likely have to store pots and pans in the oven and leave other items on the island. Laundry: The washer doesn't clean properly despite multiple maintenance tickets. They just blamed my detergent, but the problem persisted. Washroom: The washer and dryer are located next to the kitchen and fridge, which is already inconvenient. The laundry area is extremely small, so forget about storing blankets or extra comforters there. The dryer, in particular, is a major issue. It doesn't dry properly, and to make matters worse, there's no exhaust vent leading outside. Instead, the apartments uses a indoor dryer vent system for the dryer exhaust. This setup traps lint and releases hot, damp air inside, fogging up the entire apartment. If you're unlucky, you could end up with black mold. It makes it worse in the winter when your windows get fogged up. Bathroom: The bathroom layout is poorly designed. It's connected to the bedroom rather than being near the living room, which is inconvenient when you have guests over. Bedroom: The bedroom has no built-in lighting, so you'll rely entirely on lamps. To make matters worse, the windows are old and leak air. During the freeze storm, cold air blasted into the room, and the heater couldn't keep up. Despite reporting this issue, the management dismissed it, blaming me for not closing the window properly. As someone who works in construction, I can confidently say the problem is the windows themselves. Noise: The apartments are not soundproof. You'll hear your upstairs neighbors tap dancing or moving furniture, arguments, and your next-door neighbors slamming doors. IF YOU DON'T LIKE NOISE, THIS AIN'T IT CHIEF! The only real advantages of this complex are the amenities and location. Parking is fantastic, and not having to pay for it is a rarity in this area. If you decide to live here, I highly recommend looking into the 2-bedroom units. The 1-bedroom units are only suitable for minimalist renters who don't need much space. Personally, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

No more decoration contests, no Easter egg hunts, Halloween or Christmas parties for the kids. Maintenance: poor response for flooding caused from upstairs neighbor, he broke his bathtub. The a/c froze up causing flooding. Didn't put the washing machine in right or the dishwasher causing even more flooding. They expect us to pay for the damage that was caused. She in forces some rules on some people while not on others. This is supposed to be a drug free complex. It even states on your lease pot smoking is not allowed on the property or in the units. We had 4 different people who moved in after us that would sit on their patios smoking pot. I'm sorry but when someone is highly sensitive to it and have asked them to please go somewhere else to smoke it, you would expect the manager to in forces the rules of the lease that was signed. Shannon has even gone as far as making kids cry that lives here. She told them they can not play in the grass. If you have kids remember that they can't play on the grass for any reason. Don't even think to decorate for any holidays outside. You can't even put an American flag out for any reason. If they are loud playing outside you will get a noise complaint on your door.

I have been here about 10 months and have renewed my lease for reasons, I will explain later but…read moregenerally would have not. Its important to note, you MUST give them 60 days, while they give you about 3 weeks, tops to make a decision on renewal and their terms on renewal. First things first, the maintenance team is the best I have ever had in all my years of renting. So much so, my dogs look for their golf carts when walking the premises because they love them. The office has been helpful and prompt, in the capacities they can. Unfortunately, they are the middle people - much if not all decisions are being made by Equity Management. All that said, I find myself generally frustrated with the way many residents treat common spaces. The vast majority of tenants are college or young folks being roommates with ZERO common courtesy. Or family with older children with ZERO care for other. I luckily live on a relatively quite and communal floor ( I know my neighbors well enough to have their phone numbers). Rent is generally higher and advertised as a luxury, but there's nothing luxury when you have various big box stores/fast food restaurants built in walking distance. Tenants treat much of the common spaces as a dorm building, summer are worse because the pool area becomes a tailgate for people that do not live here, making it impossible to enjoy the pool as a tenant. Perhaps, convince is a better word to advertise Savannah Nine Mile. In addition, and I would say probably more importantly, the amount of dog feces that is left behind by people is absurd. There's plenty of dog stations ( bags and garbage bags) around the property ( about 8-12) for people to still feel empowered and negligent and leave their dog shit behind. Too many let their dogs have diarrhea (YES!) in areas right outside the main doors of buildings, ( like in the rocks of walk ways- this is OFTEN not a here and there emergency a dog had) causing a giardia outbreak for many tenants. I generally just find myself incredibly irritated by the lack of concern and care for other. Also other things to consider when making your decision: - took 8 months to fix the only exercise bike in the gym. - most of the year, the BBQs were down and took months to fix only to have them break on repeat. I suspect some of this is a tenants, that do not clean the grills before and after. -hot tub took several, maybe 4-5 months, to repair hence all the updated low review recently. Many tenants are furious that we are nickeled and dimed for everything but are given lip service for the vast amount of time is taken to get things fixed but no credit is given to the tenants - but you better make sure you pay bills on time! - Some building/s are having rodent problems. Lastly, what I will say about the management company is their practices seem a bit off. Upon my renewal, when I made a case for my rent being about 100-150 dollars more as a current and returning resident, then other rental with more sq feet, I was given the option to move units, rather than work with me to adjust my rent to a reasonable price to match the incentives given to new tenants plus the much lower rent. I was able to keep my rent as is, but i'm still paying more than units currently advertised. This is also including unit that would be close to my lease end date. Suggesting I move floors, seems nonsensical knowing most will not take the option to pay a few hundred bucks to move floors. For that, I'll hire movers to leave all together. I don't see this as a long-term living resident, but personal circumstances keep me here. I will come back in a few months to share updates on how Equity deals with the very candid review should they reach out. Lastly, the building does have an internal 'facebook group' of sort where much of these grievances are shared.
