I think their main one is the Burnaby one, which is a new location that they moved into. I highly recommend Dr. Cheung. He was patient and listened to my problems about my teeth, which had been a mystery for two prior general dentists in my neighborhood (one was very close in location to me and the second one was my mom's). Dr.Cheung's location is a little far for me, but now I realized it is worth the drive to have a good dentist really look into my problem and assess carefully. My previous dentist (mom's dentist) was so awful and unprofessional. Dr.Cheung is the complete opposite, he was very professional, caring, and wanted to find the root of the problem. He referred me to a specialist in Oral Medicine to look further into the details. Back in 2012 or 2013, I had a root canal with Dr. Cheung when my tooth cracked at a restaurant that served me an improperly cooked meal (I'm looking at you, Earl's Restaurant). Long story short, a different dentist could not fix it, and Dr. Cheung fixed it with a root canal and it had zero problems and still has zero problems to this day. Fast forward to 2021, I had 2 root canals + 2 fillings done by 2 other dentists and it just came with a host of problems. If only I had just gone to Dr.Cheung in the first place instead of picking random dentists who were "close to my home location." He comes from a family of dentists so their knowledge runs deep within the scope of dentistry. He also respects your thoughts as well if they run outside the 'norm' of conventional treatment. For example, some patients like myself don't want to have conventional root canals nor keep our old root canals, and prefer alternative methods which he understands and listens to as well. I will be doing more work with Dr.Cheung on my teeth and I highly recommend this practice.

However, at the end, she used more than two hours to remove one wisdom tooth and she needed to inject more freezing in because it took way too long. She was too scared to do the second one and referred me to specialist. After the surgery, I found that there was a severe scratch on my face caused by the tool she used. I have never heard from anyone that getting wisdom teeth removed would make you look like you ve got beaten up. It took me 4 months to fully recover. It was such a nightmare.

I called this office as soon as they opened because it was closest to my place and they brought me in right away. The receptionist was so kind over the phone and in person. The dental assistant made me feel comfortable and explained each step she took, which eased anxiety. Dr. Wojda (I think it was her) was beyond professional. She works so fast and didn't make me feel ashamed of my lack of care for dental work. She didn't push me to get the areas I need work done but still showed me her concerns and getting the visuals through regular photos was way more helpful than x-rays. Overall, I had a comfortable experience at the dentist first thing in the morning and already booked my next appointment :)
