Not impressed with this outfit at all. They "confirm" their appointments at least a dozen times... and even though I would ask to have the same Hygenist... I never got the same one 2ce... the last time I was there... the so called Hygenist.... stuck her very sharp tool into my gum... I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

As someone who grew up hating the dentist and dreading my dental appointments it takes a lot for me to enjoy a visit to my dentist. Dr Toews has the best attitude towards his patients. He has a very light touch for both cavities and oral surgery. He will also take the time to explain and answer any of your dental questions. His enthusiasm is also unmatched. I never thought I would ever recommend a dentist TOO ANYONE. Dr Torre presents a very calm demeanour and also has a very light touch when filling cavities. He too is very attentive with all my oral hygiene and tooth related inquiries. These two are the only dental professionals I trust!!!! I have recommended them to all of my friends, and have heard back that they too will never book anywhere else. Life dental is unlike any other dental experience I have ever had; they are very professional and I find my healing time is quicker than ever. The proof is in the pudding. I cannot Rave enough about my experience today from my GORGEOUS dentist on carnarvon. Dr.Sadaf Kashani!!!! The best experience I've ever had with a dentist, My dental anxieties were dealt with , I was treated and listened to very well. I booked next week to get my Hollywood smile. I HAAAATE dentist appointments, she made sure I was comfortable the moment I got there, the receptionists / dental assistants / and dentist kashani know what they are doing! The place is clean, they're very proper and no pain! And I'm a Drama QUEEN! they also did a lot of my other teeth while doing a big service on top of the original service. They know what they are doing!!!!!!!!!!! If you're mortified of dental appointments I'd say Dr.kashani is the women to go to!!!!!!!!! Go go go! And she does her hair before she gets to work.. Like, Beyonce did my check up today and more. I am no longer scared of my dentist appointments! read more

Edit: This original review was one star, but after some back and forth they looked into their records and found that one tooth was not in fact touched and issued a refund. I think now it looks more like miscommunication and fair billing error than anything else, I'm upgrading my rating to 3. A very unprofessional and shady place! Especially the reception stuff, but dental care wasn't top-notch either. They "fixed" 6 of my fillings on 3 sides in an hour and turns out one of the claimed teeth wasn't even touched (confirmed by a second opinion from a 3rd party dentist). No one got back to me on these concerns. I was about to make an official complaint but decided to let it slide hoping I won't hear from them again. But they keep refiling already paid claims to the insurance and when the insurance company rightfully refuses to pay they come to my wife with "amount owning" (she already paid for it a year ago). No one replies to my emails and aside from asking for money, there is absolutely no communication from the clinic. I don't recommend this place. read more

Absolutely astounding. A complete restoration of a smile i was missing for 20 years! I, and the staff endured many appointments of extractions, rebuilding and capping etc. over the winter spring and half the summer... My self image, confidence and sense if well being has been transformed by a communicative, understanding and encouraging staff that has even been more than fair with costs and payment options. I recommend to everyone and never thought i would have what they have done for me. 10/10 ! read more

I went to Dr. Pangelinan at the Carnarvon street location for the last year and she was very patient, caring and knowledgeable. Colleen, my dental hygienist was really efficient and made sure I was comfortable during cleanings. The facilities of the Carnarvon location are very clean and new. I found the receptionists very helpful too, when rescheduling, etc. Overall I recommend the Carnarvon location! (Yelp didn't have a profile for that one) read more

This dental office is as good as it gets. Was traveling on business from New York, a friend recommended Dr. Toews for some emergency work. What a professional. This guy is way better than any dentist I have ever seen in New York. Plus the office was immaculate, clean, very modern and bright. And it was high tech - Netflix TV built into the ceiling above the chair and good headphones, so comfortable. A+ experience all around. read more

I tried Dr. Towes of Life Dental as a new dentist as I had recently moved to New Westminster. He changed five fillings of mine. Dr. Towes insists on charging for every little thing, and he would not even agree to the rate my insurance company, Great West Life, paid because it was "too low." The work wasn't very well done, and I had to go back for re-polishing. Even worse, it seems the fastener for the rubber dam he put in actually scratched one of my other teeth. After the fillings were changed, I experienced ongoing pain in two of the teeth. Not confident that he could fix it due to the lack of professionalism in the way the work was originally done, I decided not to take a chance, and found another dentist who had to re-do two of the fillings. Once the fillings were re-done by the other dentist, the pain went away immediately. Not recommended. read more

I visited Life Dental a couple of weeks back to have some work done and was very impressed with the staff, service and office. Upon arriving I was immediately welcomed by friendly staff at the front desk. I was brought into the dental chair promptly. Staff assisting me were very pleasant and felt genuine in wanting to assure my visit was comfortable. Dr. Toews was very kind and personable. Upon beginning the procedure he took the time to answer any questions I had and was more than happy to explain the process. I will be going back to have a cleaning in a couple of weeks. It was a good place to have teeth cleaning BUT NOT for wisdom teeth extraction!! Thank God, I didn't have my extraction done here. I had to paid a freaking $100+ from my pocket for CT scan which the staff didn't even know how to use it. It literally took longer than my cleaning and I had to come back the next day to have it done again! WTH!! The worst part is the lady dentist supposed to do my extraction and she NEVER followed up with me regarding to the operation. i was so anxious because my teeth, they are impacted. I was tired of asking and waiting for them so I switched to a professional Specialist and I am glad that I did. Be aware, go where else. read more

This place is so horrible, sketchy, and unethical. I had a small spot that needed a touch up on bonding work. Normally I'd go to my family dentist but the travel is far and I thought it would not be an issue to go this place for a quick 20 minute fix, since it's close to where I live. So they did the patch job, but then called up my long term family dentist who I really like, and told them that I no longer want to go there and to close my file. They actually did that. I never told anyone there to do this at all and made it very clear at the appointment that the visit was for a one time thing, with no intention of returning. On top of all that when I was getting the patch on my tooth they did all these unnecessary x-rays, and booked me in for a cleaning as well, which was super difficult to cancel. Also, the dentist called me on a Saturday night at 6 pm to chat with me. How weird and creepy is that? This place is very shady, not a family-friendly environment, and I strongly recommend to avoid at all cost. Very, very bad read more
