Crystal checked in at the end and completed the bathtub herself, all was fine. Fast forward to December 7 2022. My parents are moving to Coquitlam. I referred Crystal to them and explained to her that the house was empty now that the renovations are complete, so the only things we need cleaned are the floors and the windows. After 2 of her team worked 4.5 hours for a total of 9 hours, I was left with streaky and dirty floors in every single room of the house. Finger prints and dirt on the glass doors and windows, not cleaned at all. Big bag of cleaning garbage and also their lunch garbage left behind for us to deal with. I wish I could post the photos on this review. Not impressed at all, I reached out to Crystal and sent photos. She agreed it was unacceptable and offered to come by again and redo the floors herself on December 28. Crystal reached out on December 26 saying she'd have to reschedule as she was stuck in another province with all the airline delays. I didn't hear from her again until January 4 where again she further delayed the cleaning due to illness. I followed up for an update on January 8 where she booked me in for January 10, but on they day she was supposed to finish the job, she once again rescheduled me. At this point, having been rescheduled 3x and unsure if she'd ever complete the job, I decided to bring up a partial refund. She offered me a refund of 45 minutes, for the time it would have taken to complete the job. If the floors weren't cleaned by 2 people in 4.5 hours... how would they get cleaned by 1 person in 45 minutes....? By this point, my 75 year old father had cleaned the floors himself! I explained to her I need a refund for the work that was not completed in December, NOT a refund for the work she didn't complete today. I requested a refund of $200 (total paid was $450) and then she proceeded to block me on Facebook. I really hate to shame a local small business, especially in these difficult times. I feel that I gave Crystal plenty of chances to redeem herself and provide the services she was paid to do. After already paying a decent amount of money for a very typical service, taking time off work to be there to oversee her work (twice), and now I am left paying out of pocket to get another cleaner to my parents house to clean up the mess Crystal left behind.
