There have been more than a few occassions when the office has extended their hours or have gone out of their way to help me with various issues on different occasions. They've helped ease the acute and reocurring issues when the office isn't open. Dr is always available ( Oncall) or covering Dr. Gladun that also works in the office. I've never felt so out of place when trying to advocate for my 3 month old daughter. Today during my visit I was asked for identification, this is also not my first appointment and Ive never been asked. There were also 3 hispanic mothers sitting in the waiting room with me , not one was asked for identification but I was also as an existing patient which is my daughter. I refuse to be mistreated and not taken seriously when telling Dr.Kishen legal information regarding my child especially when being right! She does not respect my situation nor my boundaries with my daughter. Is it because my child's father is hispanic you automatically favor him over me not knowing he is corrupted? Anyone person can put on a mask and show they care. Nobody knows a person better than the person who was with him. I also seeked legal counsel and when advised by my attorney the proper protocol, Dr.Kishen refused to take anything I was saying into consideration. One thing I am is a strong African American woman and i refuse to be belittled when it comes down to legal issues especially when I have hired a family law attorney who represents me at this present moment ! Dr. S never makes you feel rushed and is totally understanding of the new parent whoas and concerns. The staff at Pediatric Group of WO is also excellent. They keep the office running smoothly and generally on time. The staff does a great job accommodating same day appointments for sick patients. One of the doctors monitors the after-hours answering machine each night until 10pm. After 10pm, a service handles any calls from patients. The waiting room is large -- though there is no separate "sick patient" area.
