Following a review and tests of back pain, I was given a set of leg and hip stretches that eliminated the pain. I did these stretches for a couple of weeks and was told to call for a follow up appointment if needed. It was not needed. This was a couple of years ago and still have not needed to go back.

For the past five years, I have been struggling with balance issues and neuropathy in my hands and…read morefeet. MDs that I had consulted had prescribed medication, but nothing had helped. I found Balance Wellspace Integrative Medicine, which advertised that it helped with these issues. After reading the reviews and researching the company, I scheduled a preliminary consultation to see if they could help me with my problems. I told them that I had been struggling with this for over five years and explained that traditional medicine offered no answers. The team at the center conducted an evaluation and provided me with an 8-week plan consisting of three sessions per week. While there was no guarantee that their treatments would help, they led me to believe that they had treated others with similar conditions. They cited cases in which other patients had resumed an active life and engaged in activities such as playing golf. After faithfully attending each session, I noticed no change in my symptoms or function, which was a clear sign that the treatments were ineffective. I believe that they should have known, following their initial evaluation, that they wouldn't be able to do anything with their treatments that would actually work for me. I invested a great deal of time and money in what appears to be an empty promise. While I know there was no guarantee, I want to warn others before they put time and money into an empty promise.

Nurses were just not available, so I couldn't even get a bandage changed until I waited for several hours. My wound became infected. The staff tried hard, but there were just not enough of them! I turned on my buzzer to call for assistance - FOUR HOURS later, someone came. They just have way too many beds for the number of staff they have. (I saw one doctor, passing by, one time!) It could be a very nice place if they either decreased the number of patients considerably, or increased the staff.
