The latest part of my body that needed rehabilitation was a sore hip. My orthopedic Doctor set me up for eight sessions of therapy. Registering for my appointments was fast and painless. Two sessions a week for four weeks. After my initial assessment the fun began. Each session started with 8 to 12 minutes on the bicycle machine, then off to do different exercises to strengthen the muscles around my hip. After the exercises it was then to the flat table for massage always ending with cold packs on my hip. Over the course of the eight sessions I had four different therapists, each one of them was very good and professional. Although I hope you never need physical therapy, but if you do I highly recommend the BayCare Outpatient rehabilitation Office at Bardmoor.

I told them that I was going to OPPT in Largo and the doctor must have made a mistake in sending it there. The lady informed me that the doctor hadn't made a mistake and that he was changing my PT to Select as stated on the bottom of my order. After calling my doctor I found that that was indeed a lie. My order was sent to Select by mistake. Whoever was answering the phones for Select therapy on Seminole Boulevard was lying! When I asked if she could email me that order, she stated that she had just shredded it. Being deceitful is not okay!

For someone just taking a blind leap, I couldn't be happier with my choice. Right after I started my sessions my husband had an acute injury to his back and the surgeon wanted him to try therapy before he considered surgery which he did not want to do. He knew about PT Solutions through me and so he too signed up. I am a nurse practitioner and my husband is an RN. We have a fair amount of experience with physical therapy modalities and can certainly recognize competency in the staff. The therapist, Diana is very knowledgeable and we felt at ease with her immediately. There was a student there being mentored by Diane so she was in teaching mode and having two sets of eyes and input was doubly instructive. I finished my therapy before my husband and I was thoroughly instructed on home exercises and informed I could come back in for "fine tuning" at any time. My husband finished today. He has had chronic back pain for years and since faithfully doing his exercises he has had a remarkable recovery. We both will continue our home exercises because we certainly have seen the benefit. I cannot recommend PT Solutions enough. The clinic is spacious, clean and attractive. Diane is excellent. If PT is in your future, please consider this clinic. You will not regret your decision.

Bright, cheerful, caring and fun people who diagnosed my difficulties down to which specific muscles were giving me problems, and how to fix them.
