I was originally looking for a lot to build a home on but we have dogs. We wanted a lot with some privacy and a yard for the pups. We were having a hard time finding the right lot and started looking at homes. David knew we really wanted to build and even though we found some houses we where interested in he knew we really wanted to build. So instead of taking the easy route and pushing us towards a house he actually kept looking aggressively to find us the perfect lot to build on. He could have made 6x the commission if we got a house but he wanted to do what was best for us. There aren't very many people in this industry that would do that. He was even working while he was on vacation with his family. If you ever need a realtor that will put your needs first, work hard and is someone you can trust, David Ellis is your man.

From start to finish the assistance I received has been well informed, helpful, patient and effective! We started off with his correct timing and pricing. From there, David was very helpful in staging the house to highlight its best features, and he helped me select the perfect paint color to update and freshen the great room and loft. He is incredibly well connected in finding qualified home services at a fair price who actually show up. David hired a professional photographer who made the competition look like amateurs. With the photos, I got approximately 150 "likes" on Facebook. As I watched listings on online real estate sites, my home listing consistently out-performed other online house sales in both "viewed" and "saved as favorite." When the prime selling season arrived in May, David tweaked the listing so all "Favorites" got an updated email. BOOM! The next day we got an offer. From there it was a bobsled run to closing. When it became clear my knees were buckling under the weight of moving, cleaning, and satisfying all contract conditions, David helped me line up professional moving services who moved me out in four hours. Throughout the process, David recommended several professional service providers, all who were professional, fair, and great to work with. When the sale closed, my house was first to sell in the subdivision, even though it was the most expensive house. This is the 2nd time that Sotheby's International has sold my house FAST despite being the most expensive house in the neighborhood. When it comes time to sell or buy a house, I would absolutely recommend David Ellis and his staff. They are consummate professionals.

We have been in our Henry Walker (Coral Canyon) home for 1.5 years, here in Washington, UT. Our dream home turned into one disappointment after another both in customer service and product. Very disappointing appliances ( Even with the upgraded $4,000 ) package we purchased). The fixtures provided are embarrassing. The surprises along the way have been anything but pleasant, including just this week. Gutter drainage from one of our roof drains cracked and needed replacement, digging up the corrugated pipe to the first connection I found it duct taped together ( buried in dirt and rock ). After all our challenges we have faced with what we could see, now we have to be concerned about what lies behind walls and other plumbing issues under ground. Bottom line, after being here and meeting many Henry Walker/ Jack Fisher home owners like us, I have yet to find many ( I am being generous here ) that are pleased with their experience with this builder.

You can read my previous post which discusses the numberous issues we endured while in construction as well as the less than lacking customer service. We finally closed on our home in March of 2016. Jack Fisher basically managed a Certificate of Occupancy and forced us to close on a home though it was FAR from perfect. The back sliding door still needs to be replaced as it was broken. The French office doors still need to be replaced as the boards are wharped. My 4 door Honda Accord wouldn't fit in the garage without blocking the garage door from closing...and that was even pulling the car to touching the stairs. So we had to put our even smaller car on that side of the garage and then remove the railing to the stairs so we could side step in to yet into the house. Two of our clothes closets, one being the master walk in closet, doesn't fit standard sized hangers so we will have to pull out those shelves and hanger rods and customize the closets. Our punch list is still in progress though we have finally determined many of the action items will never come to completion. The best part, since I saved the best for last, is my husband and I received a Statement of Lien on our house due to an outstanding debt by Jack Fisher Homes. Not completely sure how this happened or how we closed on a home that had a Lien placed a few days earlier than closing. Its been a nightmare to say the least and it just keeps getting worse.

We engaged Caden at the absolute last minute to handle an estate sale for my father's second home in St. George, Utah--and somehow he pulled off what can only be described as magic. Despite having less than 24 hours' notice, Caden leveraged his massive social media following and brought hundreds of buyers through the door. I'm still blown away. The result? We literally sold everything in the house. Caden and his team have an incredible instinct for pricing--everything was priced to sell, but also to maximize value, which is a rare balance. They didn't just "put stuff out"; they ran the sale like a high-end retail store. Dozens of display tables, thoughtful layouts, smart positioning--everything was staged intentionally to move inventory. The flow was flawless. The home felt like a guided walkthrough experience, complete with a proper checkout table and cashier at the end. When we opened, there was a line of 15-20 people waiting, and the stream of buyers didn't stop all day. By the end of day one, nearly everything was gone. A couple of larger ticket items? Sold the next day through Caden's social media posts. Done. Beyond the sale itself, Caden made the entire process clean, simple, and lucrative from start to finish. He even connected us with a home cleaning service, which made turning the property into a rental completely seamless. And when it was all over, his team de-junked the home, leaving us with nothing to stress about. What really sets Caden apart, though, is how much he cares. We were dealing with complicated family dynamics, and he was incredibly thoughtful, respectful, and attentive throughout the process. That level of professionalism and empathy is rare--and deeply appreciated. Bottom line: Flawless execution Incredible turnout Maximum value Zero stress Our contribution to Elite Estate Service was worth every penny, and then some. We truly could not recommend Caden and Elite Estate Service more highly. If you want an estate sale done right--and done exceptionally--this is your guy.

Our mother needed to increase her level of care and we live in another state. It feels like a miracle that we found Elite Estate Sales and Caden. They literally took care of everything for us. Caden did an outstanding estate sale, clean out of the home and had our property under contract within two days with a full price offer. He was professional, kind, caring and gave special courtesy to our mother through this very difficult time in her life. He even sent her flowers on the day of closing. Caden was amazing with communication always keeping us updated and fielding our calls and inquiries quickly. He worked tirelessly to make sure we were comfortable and happy with the process. He truly has a big heart and cares about his clients and is a top notch professional who gets the job done. We could not have asked for a better experience. I do not think we could have survived this process without Caden and his services. We are truly grateful!

People kept telling me "By the time you are done building and moved in you will hate your builder"…read more Did everything go perfectly smooth? No. Delays? Yes! Did I get everything I wanted? No. I went into this process knowing that life isn't perfect and people try their best! Building during Covid added to all the craziness and I just tried to keep a positive attitude. Working with Katie at HWH really helped me feel like someone cared about me and my wants/ desires and happiness. I felt like Katie had my back during the whole process. She always validated my feelings and I knew she would fight for the best outcome for me when issues arose. Katie never pretended to have all the answers, she was always honest with me and would track down whatever crazy thing me or my husband would ask about. She'd answer my texts/ calls on the weekend and late at night when she could've let it wait until the morning or the next business day. Working with Kristen & Jenny in the design center was so much fun. They even handled my tears well when I started crying over the silliest things. (Guys the whole design process can be stressful, ok!) They helped me make smart choices on upgrades and helped me know where I could save money. They worked with me on making my dream kitchen a reality! Rob was an awesome project manager. He did all he could get manage our expectations, put you with our pickiness on certain things being done right. He validated our concerns and was quick to fix issues. Even after we closed, we had some issues with our AC. Katie got a message to him while he was in the mountains, out of cell service range. He spent hours of his time off to drive around the mountain to get cell service to call the HVAC company and got someone out to our home right away. Katie and Rob have definitely made me feel like they are here to help me, even if we've already closed on the home. When it came time to close, we had quite the craziness happen with underwriting delays and mistakes. I had movers scheduled, deliveries scheduled, after move-in constructors scheduled etc. I had already had to push them all off so many times. When it was looking like we might not close in time, I was stressed and at my wits end. Katie went to Logan to see if they'd let us move our things in, even it the closing got delayed. Logan was so kind and understanding and was totally willing to allow that to happen. Luckily we closed the day we had everything set to move in & we didn't have to get special permission in the end. But it really meant a lot that even at the highest level of the company I had support! I'd definitely recommend Henry Walker Homes to anyone interested in building with a production builder or semi-custom builder

We have contacted Henry Walker numerous times verbally and in writing about issues with our home. Some have been resolved but others just ignored. Odd two of the issues are in our contract and still not remedied. Others like heating and toilets that have ongoing issues with plugging, just baffle me as to Henry Walker representing themselves to be a premier builder. This morning I had an independent audit of the heating system. We are going to have to pay out of our pocket to have adjustments made to the existing heating/cooling system (moving thermostat and dampers to push heating and cooling throughout the our home). Talking with our neighbors, most have had similar challenges and the mantra in the neighborhood is just to keep calling and writing Henry Walker and if you are persistent enough, they will remedy your issues. We paid a lot of money for our home and are very disappointed with the customer service and quality of home provided by Henry Walker.
