Coralville Central Elementary School located in Coralville, Iowa....foundation and love built by the Iowa City Community School District...and this IS the house that Andy Gahan built; AKA; Mr. Gahan CC Reference; The Caitlin Clark of ALL elementary schools nation wide....See also in pictures in Wartburg Review where Andy attended college and in Ko Hawk Review; Coe College where his best friend Uby attended and played baseball....and since he did not get admitted to the California Penal League (Thank god) He Coaches baseball Up North at Liberty High which is the pipeline to the Texas Rangers. Both Andy and Uby are married....yes married...and work in the ICCSD as well. Andy's wife works at Lemme (which is where all the Old School Iowa People send their kids) and Uby's wife works at CC (here) because she did not bring the appropriate tomatoes to Taco Tuesday at Van Allen (we take food days very seriously & hopefully Andy made her watch Cars ;);)). Both Andy and Uby have 6 girls and I do believe the youngest one is in curls (like the Brady Bunch!). This pseudo-park is part of the Coralville Central Elementary School and is absolutely fantastic on a sunny day. The small creek that runs through it sets a very nice background for a park with a number of small seating areas and a very nice, though slightly out of place, bridge that crosses the stream about 50 feet from a road that does the same. A bike path through Coralville traverses the park and makes for a lovely segway between neighborhoods as you bike or run through. As it is part of the school, it's not ideal to go during school hours as they use it for outdoor class, but after hours or on the weekends it makes a great spot for some dog time or just relaxing with friends and enjoying the outdoors. read more
