Dental Partners of SW GA Americus Office…read more I went to this office because I was told they were very good and the staff was amazing. The dentist I had was Dr, Evans. He is a wonderful dentist and has great bedside manners. He did an amazing job on the teeth he worked on for me. Tiffany is an amazing hygienist and made you feel welcome and works wonderfully with you. I went and had my first appointment, and they went over a dental plan for my needs. I was given the price and was told I could take out a loan. I used Lending point which they did all of this in the office. I thought I was all set. After some of the work was done, I was told that the rest would have to come out of my pocket. The price they gave me did not cover all the work that needed to be done. I was not told this until after the loan was set in stone. Now the payment is pricey, and I agreed to it because I was under the impression it would take care of everything. They did not include everything, why is beyond me. In January of this year (2023) I went for my cleaning. When I was done the ladies at the front office told me I had to pay 70$. I asked why? My insurance covered 100% cleanings. I was told they don't know and they would get back with me. I sent them a break down of my insurance showing that the cleaning was covered. I heard nothing back. I called several times and was always told someone would call me, never happened. I was contacted on May 1, 2023 via text message saying I had an appointment. I called them and told them I do not have an appointment and that you could cancel it and again asked about the 70$ I was made to pay. The lady advised she would call back. The call back informed me that the money was returned and credited to my account with them. I asked why? That money should have been returned to me not placed on my account for yall. She said she would have someone else call me. I got another call from a different lady, this lady said that money was used for something else on my account. I said for what?? I have a loan that I paid for my stuff. She then said well if that 70$ came from lending point it has to be returned to them. I again for numerous times now said the money came from my pocket, not lending. She then told me lending over paid and was sending that money back to them in the amount of 600$. I was told once again someone would contact me. SO at the end of the day, I have unfinished work in my mouth because of their inability to price out the total for the work that needed to be done. I was made to pay something that was not on me to pay and I have gotten nothing but a run around ever since. January until May 3, 2023 I have been trying to get them to make this right. Very disappointed, dissatisfied with the office staff of the Americus Office. Half completed work due to them not adding everything in, taken for 70$ for a free cleaning

Supposedly they want your money upfront but cannot tell you what they'll be completing. They also have a sign that once services are rendered, you must pay them. When I mentioned that the receptionist stated. "Oh that's been up for years. That sign was here before we took ownership of this building. That doesn't apply". If i need a root canal they'll take your money to investigate but will send you elsewhere for the actual procedure. I refused to pay 1500.00 upfront and glad I decided to leave. I feel this is fraudulent. They also previously charged me for my X-rays which are preventative services. They blamed the insurance company for this however when I inquired, the dentist office coded it to their benefit. I was partially charged out of pocket for this procedure. If I indeed needed a root canal they'll would have seen it on the X-rays. I am very dissatisfied in what I thought would be a good experience.

We waited roughly 15 to 20 min before he was called back. Dr. Chew was very nice, knowledgeable, patient, and attentive to my father's concerns. He was diagnosed with cataracts a couple of years ago so this is a follow up visit on the next step. The sitting area is clean and spacious. Considering Covid is still strong in the country , signs are posted to wear a mask and you can only be accompanied by 1 relative. The seating arrangements are spaced between each chair. There were 10 patients sitting on our arrival. From what I observed they move pretty quickly on getting you registered and seen by the doctor. The location is easy to find. It sits on the corner (right side) you can't miss it. It is a 1 way street .... Dr Chew has 3 offices - Americus, Montezuma, and Leesburg. If you're in the area, check them out. They have a large selection of glasses and shades.

I called to make an appointment and needed more contacts and she was rude to me then back in December. I called to see if my contacts were in after my recent appointment and she told me that I didn't have any because I didn't order them she then proceeds to tell me they have contacts here that I ordered but didn't want when they called me about them! As soon as she heard my name on the phone her tone changed from pleasant to rude immediately. Needless to say I went and got my contacts and signed the form to release my medical records. Finding a new doctor to do my next appointment! By the way- these contacts that she says "I didn't want" are .50 & 1.50 LESS than what I need. So they're the wrong prescription thanks Denise- you just lost Dr. Bryant a very loyal patient.

I got a call that said you have to pay full price since we kept scheduling appointments with you instead of making sure the insurance would cover the work being done. The fillings I had all were poor quality and made my teeth extremely sensitive and when I went in for them to look at the issues caused by the fillings they told me I had sensitive teeth (telling me I had sensitive teeth cost $79) and they applied a protective coating for another $78 which came off before I made it home. Each estimate that I got was low and I had to pay more than expected and they seemed very confused about why these numbers were off and how the billing process works. Not very professional but at least they all had smiles on their face while I was getting scammed. At this point all I can do is share my experience with you and hope that you don't make the same mistake I did by choosing Americus Dental.

I ended up doing a massage and a facial and before I left, I ended up getting a B12 shot and man. Do I feel amazing. the staff was super friendly and professional and knowledgeable. The times I have not used Dr. Ford were because I was out of state. I have actually driven from FL and paid out of pocket to use this dentist. He has NEVER been in a "bad mood" when I have been there, never rushed an exam or procedure, and I have never waited. It is so hard to find a good dentist and if you are looking for one this is the office you need to go to. His office staff will even "work you in" if you have any urgent needs. He and his staff are great and that is all I can say!
