Isaac and Mary Cody moved their family to Le Clair, Iowa. They purchased a farm in 1841 and built a small log cabin upon it. William Frederick Cody was born on February 26, 1846. Eight months later, the Cody family moved off this farm. The farm was sold March 9, 1852. Today, the Cody Farm has been incorporated into a larger farm and the location where their cabin once stood is in a farm field 14 mile north of this historic marker.

Note you're not allowed to bring in your umbrellas, at this park or chairs... yet theirs are down on the edge of the park... and you cannot raise them... picnic areas in full sun. Note they don't allow you to change seats. Empty seats in shade they refuse to give elders while on location. They have umbrellas and they're all completely down and they refuse to let people open them.. I don't know if they're trying to force people to stay in the stadium or if they just refuse to give the people what they ask for. I would be worrying more about your community than funds you can make on concession. Great field not the place to take elders. Just two weeks ago a woman I knew and cared for was refused shade on location, she fell down the stadium steps at a game due to heat exhaustion. You need to do something about this. They also do not accept cash for parking or indoors at concession stands. This used to be one of my favorite stadiums... truly disappointed.

My daughter hates it so badly here that we decided to unenroll so I tried to return the outfit and they won't allow me to return it. It's literally still in the package and never been opened. They charged me $65 plus tax for a tank top and shorts. This place is terrible. When I attempted to return they were incredibly rude to me. If you want a positive place where your kids will thrive go elsewhere.
