For the last 7 years locals keep mentioning the need for shade and coverage at this park along the…read moreMississippi. The need for more trees & canopy. Note you're not allowed to bring in your umbrellas, at this park or chairs... yet theirs are down on the edge of the park... and you cannot raise them... picnic areas in full sun. Note they don't allow you to change seats. Empty seats in shade they refuse to give elders while on location. They have umbrellas and they're all completely down and they refuse to let people open them.. I don't know if they're trying to force people to stay in the stadium or if they just refuse to give the people what they ask for. I would be worrying more about your community than funds you can make on concession. Great field not the place to take elders. Just two weeks ago a woman I knew and cared for was refused shade on location, she fell down the stadium steps at a game due to heat exhaustion. You need to do something about this. They also do not accept cash for parking or indoors at concession stands. This used to be one of my favorite stadiums... truly disappointed.

This is a high single A Kansas City Royals baseball team. Their ball park Modern Woodmen field is so cool as its on the Mississippi River Bank nestled between a cool bridge on one side and a Ferris wheel on the other. Review 93 in 2023.

The chef has continued to introduce new and interesting ingredients - some from their on-site garden - creating a "farm-to-fork" experience when possible. In addition to the clubhouse, club facilities include a zero-entry swimming pool (constructed in 1997) with an expansion to the lap pool (construction 2011-12), two lighted tennis courts, the north dining patio, a scenic front lawn, various food venues, and a four lane automatic bowling alley. A good place to check out if you are thinking of joining a club in the QC.

The pool was recently expanded and a state-of-the-art gym was constructed in 2012. The gym has 24/7 access, is kept very clean and never has broken equipment. We roll in after work around 5PM and there are normally one or two other people there, if that. We joined for the gym and pool, and it has been worth it. No monthly minimums, but the food is actually pretty good if you're looking for a nice dinner. Typically have extravagant brunch setup in the upstairs ballroom for holidays. If you're looking for a CC to golf at this isn't your place (though they do have two sister clubs that you can golf at), but everything else is on par/better than the other private clubs in the QC.
