My primary physiotherapist was Joanne. My first visit, she put me through several exercises to assess my injury. The next step was to go over recommended exercises to help with my recovery. She let me know that if I had any reservations about being in the common area with everyone else, they were able to set me up somewhere else. Not every physio facility is able to do that so this was definitely a bonus. Subsequent visits were more treatment oriented like using the TEMS machine and some soft tissue treatment. They had assistants of both genders and I was asked if I was okay being treated hands on by those of the opposite gender. The staff are all very pleasant and courteous. Very happy to have my treatments here.

The guasha also known as scraping is definitely not as agressive as it sounds. A pearl cream is applied to your fave and a soft marble like plate is used to massage your face in an upward motion. It stimulates collagen and blood flow and is an ancient oriental method of keeping you young and fresh. Very similar to the facial massage and facial yoga videos you might have seen. I sctually bought a plate and Jackie encouraged me to continue the place at home with cream or an oil or anything to keep my face slick while I massage. Love that there's no product pushing! The accupuncture was awesome, not painful in the slightest, and Jackie makes you incredibly comfortable the entire time and checks in on you.
